  1. Why create this division between Somali brothers? We can have both. They are willing to work with each other and recognise each other. Dumbest poll ever in history.
  2. ^War dad wada foolxun oo caata ah oo meel isla wada taagan haddi la sawiro iyagoo qaawan beey Art uu arkaan, waxaanba iska dhaafe. Waa khamriga waryaada, khamriga weeye waxa dadkaan wada dhaadhaan ka dhigey.
  3. 3 little lion cubs were stolen by Somali militia from a lioness. Dumbest move ever. These Faraxs have caused the lions to go on a rampage and kill every Somali in sight, just trying to find their babies. The whole area is in a state of emergency and the Kenyan Wildlife Service is trying to get the cubs back, but the dumb Faraxs in question are demanding ransom. No money, no cubs! Hope they won't exterminate the lions. They're just following their instincts. Lions kill villagers after militiamen steal cubs By Steve Bloomfield in Nairobi Published: 21 June 2006 At least three villagers are reported to have been killed in eastern Kenya by lions besieging villages in an attempt to find their offspring. Senior politicians in the Garissa region said the attacks began after a Somali militia near the border with Kenya stole three cubs. Witnesses claim a pride of 15 lions attacked homes in Liboi and Kulan in the Garissa district on Sunday night, while villagers were asleep. Police reported that at least three people died and a further two were seriously injured. The attack follows a series of incidents over the past two weeks in which herdsmen in Garissa have been attacked by lions. One man was mauled to death as he fetched water from a well. In a similar attack, a pride of 10 lions encircled villagers retrieving water at a well in Liboi, before police intervened. Lions even invaded the local police station, allegedly forcing armed officers to run away in terror. As well as targeting humans, the lions have killed about 50 goats and more than a dozen cows. Most of the attacks have been on herdsmen in the countryside. But on one occasion the lions wandered into the main town of Liboi, 10 miles from the Somali border. Police officers fired into the air as people ran for safety. Abdullahi Rage, the area chief, said deaths were only just starting to be confirmed. Some of the victims were initially reported as missing, but their bodies were later discovered in the bush. Mr Rage said 23 lions had been spotted in the area. Local politicians have called on the Kenyan government to help protect residents from the lions and to compensate the families of the victims. They have also suggested cross-border meetings with Somali community leaders in an attempt to secure the release of the cubs and prevent further kidnappings. Officials from the Kenya Wildlife Service have twice tried to retrieve the cubs from the Somali militiamen. But their attempts at negotiation have been rebuffed. It is claimed the militiamen demanded a ransom for the return of the cubs. According to pastoralists who witnessed the kidnapping, soldiers belonging to the Somalia Patriotic Movement, based in the Somali town of Dobley 20 miles from the border, took the cubs from a lioness two weeks ago. They fired several shots into the air as the other lions in the pride charged at them. While attacks have been documented in Kenya it is not yet known how many people have been killed by the lions within Somalia. The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) said it suspected the militia men were paid to steal the cubs, which were then sold at markets in Somalia. But, the KWS, which has been criticised for not containing the lions, disputed the number of people who had died. A spokesman for the organisation claimed that only one person had so far been killed. "We have sent our people on to the ground. If the lions are a threat, appropriate action will be taken," said Gichuki Kabukuru of the KWS. 4. Abdullahi Yusuf and Mohamed Aidid were exactly that 4 decades ago. The new faces and the next generation Somali leaders. Look how they turned out to become. What is wrong with Somalia is that tribalism is holding the mental freedom of Somali people locked up in a cage. You'll see good Somali people struggling with clannism. They want to abandon the whole concept, but feel like they're traitors if they do so. That's what I mean with locked up in a cage. Somalis went overboard with tribalism. A promising, independant state finding itself in a miserable state 46 years later. Half a century wasted is an awfully long time and we'll never get it back. Great topic by the way. Can someone explain to me how the Islamic Courts Union are organised. Like the names of the courts, their leaders and their characteristics and history and sofort?

  8. ^ Amin. I have yet to see the ICU freeing Marka, Brava and Kismayo and spread governance to their territories. I will keep my reservations till then. But hopefully Somalia will become a country ruled by Sharia law. The way it's supposed to.
  9. Abdullahi Yusuf should retire from politics and go spend some quality time with his woman and kids. Maybe do some volunteer work and catch up on some reading. He is to old for this shidh, they take away the driver's license of people his age where I live.
  10. If a man allows his woman to smack him around and get his azz whooped by his woman, than he deserves to be smacked around and get his azz whooped.
  11. Lool J.Lee I'm telling you you're going to root for the losers. It's all about Argentina and Italy this World Cup. I always root for the underdogs like T&T and Togo, but they have to pack their bags and leave. So Now I'm gonna root for a team of which I think is gonna win for sure, so I can say: I told you so! MMA. You're right. But there is only room for 32 nations and they have to be each other's match. European teams are simply better, so that's why there are more of them. That's why African teams are increasing, they are getting stronger. But I agree European teams should be brought back to 10 and 7 or 6 for Africa. Next World Cup will be in Sawd Afriko. Bafana Bafana and the rest of the Zulu nation need to work hard within the next 4 years if they don't want to be humiliated on their own turf. And that applies for the other 5 African teams too. Afrikooy hurudooy, hurudooy!
  12. We are no mixture. If we had Arab forefathers, we would be speaking and dressing like Arabs. We are just one of the many varieties of the African peoples.
  13. ThePoint. I don't think there is a Somali woman going to Harvard Kennedy school judging by this link. Just a picture of a Somali refugee in Kenya.
  14. Tim Cahill and Lucas Neill celebrate Aussies' lucky goals. I'm just as surprised as you are. Keep laughing you sissies. How can Cafu smile while his team, the title defenders barely won against Croatia. South Korea won't be pleased with anything less than the finals lol. Lemme tell Chun Soo Lee something: Look at the millol and see how much you made youl hail suffel. BANITAWAAA! Sami Al Jabar is a believer. Scored a goal after his first contact with the ball. Allahu Akbar! Look at the expression of his face: he's fearing Allah Mashallah. Is this Kaka or some gay dude in a musical. War naf is geli ninyahow. What now Koller? You broke your neck? Than lay down and take a nap you simple basturd. I know it hurt, I know it hurt! Is it me or do these Mexicans look strange to you too? Afkooda weynaan badanaa. Madaxdhuub van der Sar: "I got cramp!" How is that possible? You're a goalkeeper. Walee waa lagugu khasaaray.

  19. Thank me and my countrymen Guus Hiddink and Johan Neeskens. The socceroos or whatever the hell they call themselves will face their humiliation when Croatia knocks you away from 2nd place in the group behind Brazil. The Japanese lost concentration at the end of the match and you guys took advantage of it. Nothing to be proud of. If Guus didn't put Cahill in, the Japanese would turn you into Sushi. Maalintiina ma aheyn, but consider your humiliating departure from Germany as a fact.
  20. Also a huge fan of Guy Goma. The look on his face when he finds out that they mistook him for someone else made everybody in the room go crazy. People were like: "war kusoo celi!" 7 times and that look was funny each and every time. Would like to know what was swirling through his head when he got makeup on for his 'job interview'. Probably allready celebrating when he saw the 'signs' that he got the job. The biggest lesson I've learned from this is that you don't have to be an expert to be able to talk about a certain topic. You just have to believe in yourself and your intellectual baggage. Guy got questions meant for an expert, yet he answered them and his answers were relevant to the discussion. KB: Were you surprised by this verdict today? Goma: I am very surprised to see...this verdict to come on me, because I was not expecting that. When I came, they told me something else and I am coming. You got an interview that's all. So a big surprise anyway. KB: A big surprise, yeah, yes. Goma: Exactly.
  21. Pure Blood. You must be really proud of your ignorance, because you show it off so well.
  22. ^Not all the time. Just most of the time. Red Sea. It was in The Hague in a fancy place called Theater Concordia. It wasn't a celebration of anything. Somali orgs and ppl came together and had a good time and did something useful for a change on a saturday. The ppl that organised the event just sent us all an apology for the bad food. It will be the last time a certain Somali makhaayad will be used for catering service. Next year, we'll just eat kebab or fried chicken or so'em for safety reasons.
  23. There are no pics and videoclips beside what people filmed for personal use. Forgot to mention a play about Somali asylum seekers. That was straight up comedy. Nobody talked about politics. There were hundreds of Somalis from different backgrounds. Politics would only mess up the vibe.
  24. This is my pick: Sheh: Yaa ku dirtay? Zafir: Yaa ku dirtay? What am I now a telephone?? telephoneka waa la dirtaa noh? Sheh not getting the hint that it's direy and not dirtey continues.. Sheh: ragaba waa la dirta but that's another story.
  25. I woke up this morning and for the first time in eight years, I didn’t mind getting a year older. Walee waan is ceebeeyey. Thought you meant growing older in general. Happy birthday Valenteenah. Great topic, I don't have a 5 year plan. For me its just Que Sera Sera. I don't mean I have no ambitions, but I don't like to plan my whole life. It makes your world smaller, your life seems shorter and limited to your own grasp of the world.
