  2. Summary of his policies: Puntland will have the right to determine its internal and external policies Puntland should have a say in the affairs of all the other federal states Puntland should be consulted by the federal government about every little thing Puntland should a say about the appointment of every federal minister and prime minister Puntland should set the internal and external policies of the federal government and never the other way round. Puntland will have all its resources to itself but should have a share of the federal government revenues Puntland should be the temple where every federal government official pays homage to and takes orders religiously Puntland should make the federal government and all the other federal states in its image, just like the Christian creation doctorine really;) I really like Faroole, he is a capable politician

  4. ^ Revenue generating infrastructure projects like airports and seaports are good things but they should be treated as a means to an end, which is to get the economy growing and standard of life improving. However, it seems the people of Djibouti are not seeing any benefits trickling down from those investments which is really sad.
  5. I like how mega-sized ina Guulleh uu kursiga ugu baraaqo:p Seriously Somali politicians should lose some of their massive flab. They should cut down on their daily intake of hilib iyo baruur and hit the gym.
  6. Abu-Salman;976146 wrote: Never understood the logic of big, impressive schemes where resources are so scarce; US/Soviet built Berbera airport is good enough as one of the biggest regional assets and 1-2 hours away from Hargeysa, so a much higher priority would have been to fix the potholes on the strategic corridor Berbera-Hargesa/Wajaale for regional trade. After all, major airports are located away from cities and very few who would mind a little extra commute if coming from overseas (locals and regular residents need mostly small planes/airports). This is the problem of clan politics when politicians are given important jobs not because of merit but just to appease clans and personalities. Unfortunately as a result most of our politicians lack the foresight and knowhow to run a country.
  7. The only thing left now is the building of proper intersections:cool:

  16. If Somaliland made a good use of its annual rain fall by constructing reservoirs and employing advanced irrigation methods like drip irrigation, then our organic produce is enough to feed our small population. We are blessed with virgin soil, plenty of sunshine, and enough rain but we lack the leadership and the foresight to advance our society.
  17. English: Integrin signaling will phosphorylate FAK, which can then decrease GPCR Gαs activity. Somali: Digayaan Integrin phosphorylate doonaa FAK, taas oo markaas yarayn kartaa waxqabad GPCR Gαs. What a crazy translation;)

  20. Haatu;975108 wrote: Tallaabo, as a Somali of all the people in the world you should know that a bad government is better than no government. I'd prefer Assad to an Iraq scenario. I don't support dictators but I believed Assad was a good leader for Syria before the civil war and prayed that the Arab spring never reached that country. But like a leopard never changes its spots, tyrants never change their evil ways and Syria would now be better of with out its brutal tyrant.
  21. nuune;975100 wrote: So you are welcoming the West to attack a country in civil war, what makes you think US Cruise Missiles will not cause massacres. Yes I welcome the forceful removal of the devil named Assad. The western launched cruise missiles will for sure cause some collateral damage but on the whole a post Assad Syria will be better for everyone in that country. The only thing worrying me right now is the extremely long time the Americans and Europeans are taking to make a decision for attack.
  22. nuune;975125 wrote: ^^ Dirty work as being destroying the country, he was a rebel, supporting Western led mission, dirty work is still going on, and rebels are still destroying the country, have you ever heard of any news concerning Libya, no, you won't hear it from your Favorite Sky News & BBC Radio Scotland, the news in Libya is sad and hopeless, and no Western Media dares to report it as it will go against their logic, you check on the internet for news concerning Libya inaar. I don't hear about Libya anymore hadana ninyow:D I think it is better not to hear anything about it for now as that will only jeopardise public opinion on the upcoming Syria campaign;)
