I think the then newly elected Ontario Liberal government killed it. Honestly, I do not trust anything from the party that made Mike Harris a premier instead of making him a pariah that he was. That fella really messed up Ontario, from its educational system to its healthcare system to its social funding to downloading maintenance of public properties to poor municipalities. It is just a vote-grabbing issue aimed at the strong minorities, though a heavy lobby is from the Jewish community, who want an equal funding to their private schools, same like the Catholics who enjoyed that more than a century. I think this has to do, beside that Tory's Tories seeking an extra enticing vote-grabbing from certain groups, it mostly has to do satisfying the Jewish community and their effective lobbying than the overall private schools.

The wave of unjust policies and practices towards the Benadiris only serve to undermine true social harmony and stability and further deepen the depths of dissension. We are deeply dismayed by this trend to further disengage Benadiris from the political process. While Somalia needs a new and more just system of representation, BIYO firmly deplores the prevalent system by which those who perpetuate violence are reinforced and rewarded, while exploited and deprived of due rights are those that are peace-loving, unarmed, and non-violent in nature, prompting us to question: “Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good?” (Quran 55:60). Verily, Somalis have to divest themselves of this moronic mentality. Contrary to the duties and responsibilities of a government, the TFG’s record of actions portrays it functioning as a mechanism of exclusion and recurrent l repression of unarmed groups. We believe that recognition of every party’s right is imperative to establishing and maintaining a just and peaceful Somalia. Accordingly, we urge the TFG to reconsider its policies and practices towards Benadiris and take corrective action without further a due. We also urge the TFG to discredit and disuse the mythical 4.5 Formula, designed for fraudulent purposes and brings about flawed and imbalanced apportionments. BIYO considers the unrelenting use of treacherous techniques to discount and, in growing cases, disbar the Benadiris from participating as stakeholder on political fronts a direct threat to Benadiri identity and rights.   23. I just realized, subsconsciously, myself passing reading whole sentences if I come across one word my inner psyche has zero toleration for. For me, whole sentences are messed up because of that word that my mind cannot take. For some articles, if the word become recurring feature, I stop even reading the darn article altogether. Words such as: - Terrorist [dah, no need to explain this] - Fundamentalist - Moderate [google lists 1,280,000 and 1,390,000 for 'moderate+muslim' and 'moderate+islam,' respectively] - Militant [try googling again 'militant+islam' and compare it to other faiths by using same formula of 'militant+...'] - Radical - Insurgent [this word has lost its true meaning since the Ciraaqi invasion by Mareykanka] Three of them seems to be synonymous words in the Western media these days: terrorist/militant/fundamentalist, which all are referred to a certain people who follow same faith and that defend their lands. Poor "radical" will join them soon.

  25. I hardly ever listened BBC, and those few times were mainly after main events occured. Having disclaimed that, I for one applaud Yuusuf Garaad 'diversifying' [for a lack of a better word] that archaic, colonial-created warbaahin. It was a myth to begin with a certain region people's accents predominating the air of such Soomaali-wide media institution. The merit, long ago, should have been based one's qualifications than one's accents. We used to commend when Yuusuf Garaad took tough on warlords he interviewed. We should likewise admire his drive to make it more diverse, young and professional. Especially more 'audioly' diverse. Then again some do not like him because he is anti-dowlad ku sheeg, anti-warlord; for others, for his stand being a staunch nationalist, instead of being an advocate of separatism, even though he gives plenty of coverage and air to the few separatists. Those same people invented such gross, baseless widespread lies about him hiring 'cousins' in order to character-assassinate him and his reputation.
