He might be a dictator, but he's reasonable. He did not initiate the war wit the TPLF in 98. He agreed to the terms of The Algiers Agreement in 2,000 but it was Meles who didn't honor it. Aferwerki welcomed the change in leadership and tried his best to engage Abiy after Tigray war, but Abiy betrayed him and Amhara, two groups who helped him defeat TPLF. He was never in support of balkanized Ethiopia and was never a fan of ethnic federalism. And as it stands, it's Abiy who is threatening to turn Eritrea into Gaza.
