as y'all know, i've been rebuilding my family house and despite taking the best part of 1 yr and 6months, i've finally completed it, ma garateen? :p

 

 

 

fixing barb-wire around the walls of the house was the only thing remaining and thanks to Allah, i've now completed that task.

alright, i'll tell ya. i went to University of Hargeisa, my spiritual birthplace and where I began my SL adventure almost 3.5 years ago.

 

they had a welcoming lecture for Professor Ahmed Samatar. i even got to shake hands with the new-born Somalilander. he's alright, you know. i reckon, he ought to be appointed Foreign Minister as he has a wealth of experience and an excellent understanding of complex global issues.

my house was rented to a HAGist woman called Nasra. she refused to move out, so i finally paid some police officers to have her removed. i should mentioned she broke the tenancy agreement (i gave her two months notices and she left after 4months...). i saw her many months later and despite the obvious animosity between us, she told me that she'll be moving to xamar soon. i told that her.....'i won't be that far behind you, so be prepared to help me rent a house......''.

 

i don't think she understood the sarcastic undertones in my words but she laughed. ;)
