^ Yh I am fulay.. I am believing these... "Fulay hooyadiis ma goblanto..." AND "Nimaan biqin waa loo baqaa" means waa ku daayey kaasi..lol.. To be honest though, just imagine when traffic is less in the underground subways, and just one or two people are waiting on the station, wind blowing, It's late night and every move you make makes scary noise... All these remind me scary movies which I hate watching them..

LOL now u are stretching it, I don't know about MAGALADA joogtid, I havent been there before. But, in here many people take the subway so it is never really just two ppl?? markasta trainku wa buxa even late hour!..sometimes perhaps u might be there with two ppl, but i mean on average waa la buxaa..

Yep, it's Hawaitha/55...You must have been there, minnehopeless... Another similar lightrail is underway between the two downtowns, mpls and st. paul.. And only then, it will be a real metropolitan.

Only in Minnefabulous you'll find maqayad called "Quruxlow Restaurant" waa meel funny eh. I loved their bariis. If anyone asks me meeshu ku yaalo all I remember is its off a long road University Avenue la dhaho and its opposite a huge liquor store. Tilmaam kale maku aqaano lolz Ma qaldey mise waan saxanahay?

 

Speaking of food, went to my sister-in-laws for Afur yesterday. Indhahaan ka dhargey, she made so much stuff yaab. I had a baquuli of vegetable soup and a fruit salad, with a couple of bur in between. Ilaahey kheyr ha siiyee. Saxuur at midnight, I missed my morning toast, had 2 slices with malmalaato.

 

Very light afur today -----2 Parathas with Palak Paneer ----Skipped saxuur, can't be bothered, its too hot. Had a baaldi of biyo qaboow, and Im good to go Insha Allah

Zak, yh the park is called Minnehaha Falls park.. Nice place for picnics..

 

Nina, you are close but it's Lake Street.. Also have you heard Ibrahim restaurant and also Bilibili rest. weird names for restaurants.. lol.. the place is fun only if you're out of towner...

The Quruxlow restaurant I know is located at the cross street of Lake and Cedar Ave. I believe the owner's name is Quruxlow hence the restaurant's name. They have the best xalwo in the entire US.

It is not quruxlow,btw: It is Qoraxlow(as in Qorax). Anyway, u are funny with your Somali
