Jafa...its Like they gave up on Premiership. keeping with what has been a disappointing domestic campaign as they slipped to a single-goal defeat at Ewood Park.

 

while chelsea are now 15 points clear at the top of the table seating there confortably a 2/0 goals by (Mr Lampard himself and Robben) winning at stanford bridge,

I just hope we can take the fourth spot (never have Arsenal finished below 3rd under Prof Wenger)...Times are changing.

^^^Hopefully we knock them out of it by winning the champs league, the new rule now states that the team that finishes 4th goes into the Uefa Cup if the winner of the CL doesnot finish in the top 4. I can imagine them watching the final hoping we will lose.

But we're back in action and in a full swing. Chelsea trashed W. Albion 2-1 with 10 men!!! Arjen Robben sent off for innocuous fake 2-footed lunge (the poor boy can't injure a fly!), again the ref was disgrace.

Alonso sent off and a Gerrard howler. We would have won the game (undeservedly) but we would have won that game if it didnt crash down. well done to the Arsenal. But please remeber Anfield a few eeks ago. At least we made a fight of it!

Also Liverpool beat Newcastle by 3-1.

 

The gap between the top three teams are getting much closer, what do you think?

^^^ Sup Sxb? It will be an excellent draw if that happens, who knows your team might be another Arsenal, loosing 3 games to the Champions this season.

 

We deserved to loose yesterday. Period. The players were not up for it and Jose made a great joke by making silly double subs in the first 25 minutes. Taking Joe Cole, such an influential player was a big mistake. The likes of Makelele, Lampard, Terry and even Essien made ridiculous mistakes and lost the ball to the opposition everytime. They never had the desire and urge to play and never wanted to be counted. If we continue like this, surely teams like Man Utd might have the chance of catching up.

Title is Chelsea's. This is why you develop big leads, for hiccups like this. If the league was smaller than that, then it would have been a problem but their hradwork is paying off now.

 

Its nice to see that The Gunners are enjoying their football again. If they keep playing like this and then taking over Spurs would be no problem, maybe even L'pool, but 4th is enough (the humiliation).
