  9. Salaan dhamaan reer SOL. We did a complete inquiry regarding this issue of double identity. We have talked to those alleged to be belong to same person. We came to the conclusion Hornafrique and Windtalker are not the same person, but different people who use same school/work network that may have led the sameness of unique IP being the same. We base this Hornafrique's own swearing on Allah's name, as well as other relatives who are members of this site. Besides the relatives attesting, we also took great pleasure respecting a nomad's own oath, as our Islamic and Soomaali culture demands. We have no concrete evidence to prove or disprove whether Hornafrique and Windtalker are indeed same persons than the fact usual matching of IPs. We discovered and came to the conclusion in this same inquiry that "Alpha Geeljire" and "Camel Milk" are the same person, because they not only have the same IP matching, also based as well on Alpha's emotional outburst insults (which besides the IP matches Camel's as well), and he was also warned numerous times (which was his condition of coming back after bannings of several times) not to attack the site, the Adminstrators of the site or the users. He disregarded and ignored that, including the last couple of days attacking and posting insults and threats, both private and public. We kindly ask to avoid insulting the Staff after your topic is deleted or edited because this is just asking for trouble. The Staff is taking its utmost consideration to keep this site clean of personal insults, abuse and tribal politics. We also kindly ask the nomads, from now on, to avoid accusing others of "double" identity because only Staff can make those statements. We will have no choice but to suspend the username of anyone accusing others of double identity. And this thread, for that matter, is closed. Thank you all.

And by the way, the reason Admin. wrote "this is MMA's investigation" was not about Hornafrique's or Wind's (since I had nothing to do with them), but since it happened, we need to be fair, and re-check many others' IPs. The Admin. is doing his part, but he is calling it "MMA's investigation," to check others as well, since too Hornafrique used to charge some individuals having multiple usernames on this section. Interesting. I would like to know how is it they have the same IP address as well. I don't like to reveal much, but their last two posts, which only had few minutes apart, had the exact same unique IP. It was either they were sitting together and allowing one another to post at a time or something was on. That surprised and shook the Admin. because this site restrictly forbids anybody who deliberately uses multiple names, if allowed which degrades the very foundation of this forum.

That was his decision after his preliminary inquiry, which further investigation revealed some of the time those names (there aren't limited to Horn or Wind, but other registered usernames as well) fall under on a few unique IPs. It can be they are pals who use one computer together at school or home. Only Eebbe knows. It was never my decision to ban anybody, nor do I have the power to do so. Even if I did have, I would certainly never ban anybody. I didn't even know anything or suspected nothing until today when Admin. directed me to see what he saw, which happened after he banned them. The scenerios would have been twofold. 1) A swift international condemnation against a cowardly terrorist kidnapping, followed by a bold hostage freeing action by Americans or Europeans marines stationed in Jabuuti. Nothing after that. 2) A swift rescue mission by Americans or European soldiers stationed in Jabuuti, followed by an international outcry, led by the Western press, to do something bold in anarchic and detoriorating Soomaaliya. Perhaps another "restore hope" operation.

The misinterpreted version reached other senior sheekhs at the masaajid, who, without prior knowledge, condemned it. The next day the rumours reached him, and was equally mad. The next night was his farewell khudba. (Which was devoted about qabyaalada and the importance of brotherhood, and why we destroyed our nation because of this sickness, incurable qabyaalad that even wadaada couldn't escape from. I could sense Umal too realized and knew qabyaalada reached wadaada because that was the first khudba aan waligeey arkay devoted wholly to qabyaalad issue.) After the khudbada, in a visible dissatisfaction tone of the innuendo, he narrated what happened the night before that was supposed to be private and how his answer was ominously misinterpreted liberally. He reiterated--bringing a book, including, that was devoted to the issue--mab'dayada ee qabaan the two groups in Islaam, mentioning some famous sheekhs in both groups--and still refused to slip in his own opinion.   20. Salaan... The situation became public tonight, no holds barred, when the local Toronto Soomaali radio, Codka Beesha, devoted to this sensitive issue. Codka Beesha was interviewing one group's spokesperson about some future projects of opening a Soomaali school and what happened in this week's ciid. When the issue turned to ciid, the host had an opportunity to ask why were two places required for Salaada Ciida by Soomaalis, and also if it was qabiil-related. The spokesperson downplayed it, saying something to likes of: "Fitnada waxaa wado nin ajnabi eh oo Soomaalida isku diraayo, meeshaas Ciida kalena Soomaalida iskugu yeeray." Immediately, a senior member of other group listening the show called the radio station, on the open air, challenging that allegation and saying, (and it is a paraphrase): "Wax ajnabi la yiraahdo ma jirto, masaajidkaas Soomaalidana maamulxumo ayaa loogu soo cararay, mida ugu danbeysidna ahayd macalinka Toronto laga yaqaano dhan oo caruurta Quraanka u dhigo laga soo erye." The caller also mentioned the initial rift that caused all of this: Allowing some political Canadian members to campaign on masaajidka property (which they used to ban), breaking a mutual code on the masaajid's bylaws. He also mentioned if the "gaalo" campaigners can be allowed, why didn't the provincial and munipical candidates, who happened to be Muslims, were refused to campaign there in the first place. One thing they both agreed was the issue was not qabiil-related, which the host wanted to know repeatedly, I was told.
