  4. ^There are indeed long outstanding issues but I think they could do without this Jam Shiekh and Al-Shabaab. The last thing one wants to see is to portray this demonstrations as something instigated by foriegners. As for Somalis (from Somali proper though I doubt this distinction), I think we are better if we stay out of everybody's way not cuz we likely taking abuse but it simply lack any coherent plan or message.
  5. ^LoooooooooooL *Rolling out the carpet for him* Life is nothing more than atoms bouncing off each other.

  9. Jibreel...I mean history doesn't necessarily emancipate us or diminish our capicity for evil. Ibti-As long as they acknowledge the existence of prophets. Apart of atheists must have great admiration for propeths me think-to see few men have so many followers?

  11. Ibti...It is the message they don't believe in but can't deny the existence of prophets, who would they blame for bringing down religion to this?
  12. Sayid-Makes sense actually. Ibti...LooooooooL that was for Sayid but I think athiests would accuse prophets of racism. Jibreel...You sound like an eternal optimist? How does education of recorded help Palestanians I wonder?
  13. Sayid-Athiests would say the first prophet? I know history is full of racism, I watch the Nazi week on TLC

  18. I don't know about babies but infants just look like large piece of meat.If you dip them in frying pun, you wouldn't know that's human if it's not for their cries. I'm not encouraging cannibalism or infanticide. That said, these studies are silly. Yes, I was adorable baby/kid but as adult, that's another question?
  19. I don't understand why would anybody come out in support of this man? Nobody deserves this treatment but cuz few dams farahs among others felt we need to defend our "Muslim brother", now Somalis will suffer!
  20. Somalia protests after Kenya arrests MPs in riot swoop Somalia has sent a formal letter of protest to Kenya after 16 MPs and other government officials were arrested by police investigating Friday's riots. About 300 people were picked up in the raid on Nairobi's Eastleigh area, home to a large ethnic Somali population. Prominent Kenyan Muslim leader Al-Amin Kimathi was also arrested. The raids follow violent clashes in Nairobi on Friday between police and groups protesting at plans to deport a controversial Muslim cleric. Kenyan Internal Security Minister George Saitoti has accused Somali militant Islamist group al-Shabab of links to the clashes, which left at least one person dead, with several unconfirmed reports of five deaths. But an al-Shabab spokesman told the BBC they were not involved in the protests. Somali's UN-backed government only controls small parcels of territory, mostly within the capital, Mogadishu. bbc
  21. The height of humiliation  And why in the God's green earth do care what happens to this so called Shiekh?

  23. Originally posted by Saddiiq: Che-Guevara, Don't you think Somalis have been affected by Kenyas rendition program? Of course. Sheikh Faisal is only the latest casualty. Where's Faisal being renditioned to, there's so much publicity surrounding this man, I doubt he will be thrown into some God forsaken prison and as far as we could tell Gambia has volunteered to host him. And I'm aware rendition Somalis suffered where the TFG was willingly accomplice-Ina Makhtal comes to mind, but I rather fight for Makhtal's case and choose my fights carefully. I wouldn't stick my neck who chose to be in his current. Dying for your principle is great, but is it worth the lives and properties of hundreds and thousands of Somali refugees who in no doubt will be target of government crackdown. Considering how much is at stake for Somalis, I would not go out of my way in making Mr Faisal the central argument. And don't get me wrong native Kenyan Muslims and Somali refugees have many grievances but this is hardly the place or time to voice their concerns. Aamiin to that Ibti,
  24. ^So, they used the presence of this man as means to voice their concerns? If it is not about the Shiekh Faisal perse, then why make him about it. This man has no stake in what happens in Kenya, Somalis and other Muslims must choose wisely who they would throw their support behind and who they won't. They are so much at stake for Somalis, fighting on behalf of this man won't worth the trouble! If the Muslims have concerns, this is not certainly the venue to express it.
  25. ^Ghana lost but somebody needs to show Egypt the door.
