The girl herself has done well in a Somalia where the vast majority of men within her age range (and ten years older) are either unemployed or can't afford to get married. Is it about the man dying before her? IN SOMALIA? IN THAT REGION? The chances are even higher if she married a younger man, saaxib. Plus, being a widow is not such a big thing in Somalia anymore. Look at the positives here. Her new man is already married to a few other women, which means he will not be bothering her much. That he's married to other women also indicates wealth. This will probably mean that the girl will have one or two maids doing everything for her and her future children. Though I would not expect the couple to have that many (the man married five wives and only has eighteen children). On the other hand, the girl might have not married this guy and, instead might have tried her luck on the high seas of Yemen or Italy. Poverty has no time for these western moral outrages.
