First of all, those defending the heinous crime by screaming there are good Arabs, we have nothing to talk about. If you can't feel the pain of these men, may God help you! Secondly, this is not matter of good Arabs vs bad Arabs, indeed there are good Arabs. I have met them personally. What's at the question is the culture that accepts and even nurtures this sort of behavior, the culture that allows child brides, slavery, honor killings,'male servants', humiliation of the other and utter disregard for common decency. Now, if you want defend this culture, make your points and do so without false comparisons to other cultures including Somali culture. What are basis of your argument? And for those who resort to Somalis are racists, that might well be but do tell me this and I remind Somalia is in the midst of civil war, where in Somalia have Arabs been treated this way. I have lived with Yemenis in Bilaajo Arab and alot of them were better off than most Somalis, and all enjoyed the protection of the State and had the respect of the Somali people. Even now, in chaotic Somalia foreigner fares much better than many Arab countries. Back to the main argument, please put forward your defense of deviant culture?

Haatu....We are not talking about individuals but culture and enviroment that nurture these sort of thinking.

Haatu...Somalis dont torture or demean foriegners living among them. There's inherent defiant in Arab culture.

OGADISHU, Somalia February 21, 2013 (AP) The administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development is in Mogadishu for talks with top Somali officials. The visit on Thursday by Rajiv Shah, the administrator of USAID, makes him the highest ranking U.S. administration official to visit Mogadishu in years. The U.S. is embracing the new government in Mogadishu, a formerly war-torn city that has seen about 18 months of relative peace. Last month the U.S. formally recognized Somalia's government for the first time in two decades. Shah, standing beside Somalia's president, announced $20 million in new funding to support health and education programs. Shah said the U.S. also wants to help Somalia fight corruption. He said Somalia was mired in conflict, famine and terrorism, but that its story line is now one of resilience, recovery and hope. http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/usaid-chief-visits-mogadishu-us-committed-18554608

It's advantagious to have female supervisor, atleast in this case. My first day, she asked if I need a prayer room. On office parties, she gets non-pork dishes. Ngonge....I am not worried.
