  1. Gheelle.T I don't condone these attacks or any attacks against civilians. My views on AS has changed the moment they started terrorizing the Somali public. Now, there are the two things that needs to be said, one being that Ethiopia and to lesser extent Kenya have been part and parcel of the Somali problem. They have contributed immensely to the suffering of the Somali specially in the case of Ethiopia whose invasion of Somalia and merciless bombardment of my hometown caused thousands of death. Now, any decent person would acknowledge the damage these countries have inflicted on Somalis. But here you have people making excuses for every invader while shedding tears for every foreign victim. What's tragic is these people who accuse AS killing Somalis (rightfully so) support forces that continue to destabilize Somalia. A good example is the many forces in Kismayo who killed each other and are ready to kill each other. In fact, so many Solers who supposedly want to AS gone have celebrated the death and destruction of Somalis while boasting their warlord is stronger than the other, warlords who garner support from our neighbors. Lastly, our neighbors do not have Somalia's interest at heart. It is rather naive to think Kenya and Ethiopia would like to see a viable Somali. If anyone on this board is sincere, they wouldn't have fooled themselves into believing that somehow the world is interested in helping Somalia, least of all our neighbors. The tragic event in Nairobi puts every Somali on notice, continue to support factions in which case. you are at the mercy of lunatics and foreigners or support your Government. I won't accept the hypocrisy of condemning Al-Shabab while supporting foreigners who murdered Somalis and undermining the very Government that could possibly lift Somalia out of its misery. They are hard choices to be made. As you are one of the few people who know me in real life, I think you would admit, my stance has always been clear. It might be not popular but it's valid. If I were to go with the changing tides without any critical assessment, I guarantee I would have followed "adeer Yeey" and justified every bit what the Ethiopians did to our people.
  2. I will get back to you later Gheelle. And for the record,I didn't justify this attack.
  3. lol@Ngonge, a mole to flush out AS supporters like you. Brute. I apologize first, I don't know you where you stand on Somali politics, but whatever you stance is, throw your support behind the Government that's if you are sincere about the demise of Al-Shabab. What is wrong with the people hoping for Al-Shabab to die is they do everything to keep it alive hence your tribaland supporters and warlord supporter crying about AS yet undermining the central government.
  4. We seriously miscalculated the politics of the era and more importantly, we never laid a proper foundation for a stable state.
  5. Somalia. If truth be told, nobody knows who outnumbers who in these regions. The only thing we can be sure of is those with most guns and foreign backers claim to be largest group. Somalis make wild claims about the numerical strength of any given tribe. And with regions so diverse, it will be hard to decide numbers.
  6. Somalia. This particular community lives in all those regions, they have as much right to claim these regions as Madoobes of this world hence the insanity of tribal federalism.
  7. Federalism in the way people here seem to understand will keep us in conflict. Tribal federalism will not work in the South.
  8. tutu. Let me see your logic. I drive the message these agencies are fighting? More importantly, you should welcome any help that might assist in anyway killing these guys or exposing them, specially considering the Kikuye agencies drop the ball on this one. They not only fail on intelligence part, but they couldn't even free the place and people. The Isrealis had to be called in. This is for Brute since Apo and tutu are Kenyans, support your Government and drop whatever warlord or tribal land you support,
  9. MMA. I have been there. Alla Ha Unaxariisto. Hopefully Somalis unite to defeat this organization. As long as we are tribal lands and warlords, these boys will be in business.
  10. Seriously? Worse than you posting a picture of a random starving non-Somali African at the height of the famine to score a political points, come on Jb....
  11. Nagada ninyahow, how hard is it for you to admit these countries have blood on their hands? What happen today is horrific and inhumane but that does not absolve their countries of their crimes.
  12. Yes, they do! Bombing an entire city, desecrating mosques, raping women, and massacring nomads! And in the case of Ethiopia, massacring its own Somali population! Mind you, AS wasn't even a problem when Ethiopia invaded the country to overthrow the courts.
  13. Apo. I already said they have became the menace and need to be eliminated, but that's not excuse to massacre innocent Somalis unless carpet-bombing Xamar or killing geeljires is just dandy. Miyir. Again, nobody denies Somalis did serious damage, but how does excuse what Ethiopians, Ugandans, and Kenyans did?
  14. Miyir. Let's diminish or deny the crimes committed by these countries. 'They were fighting Al-Shabab' is not a valid argument. You can't mourn the lives lost today while diminishing the suffering of the Somali caused by these countries. This is while saying what one rapist does is okay because other rapists commit the same crime.
  15. Miyir. I actually agree with you, Al-Shabab has became a menace the moment they start terrorizing the general public, it's one thing to attack a foreign army or the SNA. In any case, Al-Shabab can only be defeated by viable Somali state, "inviting" these countries only exacerbates the problem and as we see it today, they put their people and economies in jeopardy. The world had every opportunity to help establish a proper Somali army, but no country wants that, least of all Kenya and Ethiopia. After the Ethiopian occupation and not to mention the many years of Ugandan presence, you would think people would appreciate the fact it's ONLY Somalis that can fix this problem.
  16. Miyir;978810 wrote: its war innocent people are killed unfortunately Well, unfortunately, these innocent Kenyans are casualty of that war. On different note, do you sincerely believe foreign powers will defeat Al-Shabab? It seems a bit naive!
  17. Miyir Right, the Somali public asked Ethiopia and Kenya to invade the country so they could be massacred. How hard is it for you admit the crimes committed against the Somalis? Nuune. It certainly up the ante. It is unfortunate though.
  18. I never justified anything, but when you attack a country and massacre its people, what do you think is the likely reaction? Unless you were okay with Ethiopians and Ugandans carpet-bombing Xamar and Kenyans massacring innocent geeljires.
  19. One thing has been clarified on his end as far as the Constitution is concerned though.
  20. Ill-equipped and ill-trained forces, but to be fair, how do you prepare for an attack on mall?
  21. Never understood Somalis justifying the atrocities committed by Kenyans, Ugandans, and Ethiopian. If you don't acknowledge the suffering and the humiliation visited upon our people, you are in no position to preach to others.
