God bless the elders in this instance! It is very shrewd for Faroole to meet other candidates and agree to local and international observers. -

I have 2 feet tall fence around my house in Ohio, if I make that fence one inch taller than 2 feet, I will get fined. Whose universal rule? Who made it standard? Considering most of the owners have been displaced and lost all their wealth not to mention their rights violated, the Government is now threatening them with legalized thievery. By the way, pay attention to the neighborhoods Tarzan is targeting. It's old Xamar which largely belong to certain Somalis. p.s. and did you seriously compared yourself to people in war-torn country, my house in OH nicca please.

It doesn't matter who assumes this position, the so called leaders lack key attributes needed to run a country down on its luck, you need sincerity and competency. -

by Abukar Arman Wednesday, December 04, 2013 Any unchecked authority or power—especially when involving monies—ultimately leads to corruption. That is why it is necessary to put in place mechanisms to monitor, audit, reward, and, when necessary, punish. All laws stemming from a moral or a legal code are based on a system of rewards and punishments. By corruption I mean: Abuse of authority or position of trust in order to benefit self, family, friends, special interest groups and others willing to buy special privileges in cash or other more subtle payoffs, or by being complacent or tolerant to such conducts. ^It is a process in progress, but lack of leadership and divisions are hampering their effort. The idea of Khaatumo has been planted, the first and most important step.

Xaaji. This was today, and he's talking about victors. He's confusing opportunity for thievery with victory. Jacpher. I wish they were an actual victors, and then those victors have the common sense to seize the opportunity and build a viable state. What we have now is people fighting over bread crumbs, and people who can't understand the potential this country offers. p.s. All our houses are occupied by relatives.

Guje. Mine is just fine. Neither you nor your fellow m00ryaan can snatch it. People, pay attention to the neighborhoods mentioned in the article, it is old Xamar, which mostly belonged to reer Xamar (Soomaali cadcad). Dalmar. Who are the victors in Somalia?

Somaliland or any other Somali entity does not have the resources or man to wage a long sustained conflict should if the tribes in any region decided to oppose their presence in any unified. One might be few battles, but they will eventually lose the war. I think we need to define what economic developments are, if you are suggesting foreign aid as means of development, then there is not much Somaliland can offer. Khaatumo can setup its own shop and vie for aid much like Somaliland, Puntland, and what ever land.

Talk about legalizing bililiqo, the man is unfit to lead if he is making his job to steal people's properties.
