Siyaad Barre was just as good or as bad as any other Somali politician alive today. There are countless Somali men of all clans out there who if given an opportunity to rule as Siyaad did, would not hesitate to commit crimes against humanity to preserve their power. In this day and age, there is hardly anyone who fears the Almighty or is mindful of the Day of Reckoning instead living as if there is no tomorrow, so I have learned to expect anything from anyone regardless of how much they profess their faith in Allah. Siyaad Barre is now beyond the Barzakh (partition between the live of this world and the next) and awaiting his judgment, so my advice to you guys is- think about your own records and judgement by Allah.
