  1. , bisinka, I don't think they've come this far.
  2. Some people need to calm down,. The brother just asked a Question that made him curious about Rageahs answer. No reason to jump around and act like the brother said Rageah is an infidel, or a bad muslim. burahadeer u sure know how to mess up every topic.. All this talk about, asagay u taal etc. has nothing to do with anything, no one is say'n the opposite. I can't watch the video either, it says "not available in your area".
  3. First of all, Duca as it's the strongest weapon, and because it's free Secondly, in qofkastaa uu wuxuu awoodo u diro dadka masaakiinta ah ee rafaadsan. A lot of people think, hadaynan boqol doolar haynin, waxba laguma falayo lacago yaryar, taasina waa fakar khalad ah. Qofkasow next time aad gadanaysid, a cheeseburger, or a Big Mac, ka fakar bal hadaad lacagtan u dirtid dadka rafaadsan ee biyaha la', waayo kolay burger uma baahnid e, gurga bariis ka cun instead. Qofkastaa haduu 5 dollar diro, wax badan bay qaban kari lahayd. Allow dadka rafaadsan u gargaar, anagana ha nagu ciqaabin sidaanu uga gaabinay inaanu dadkaas u gargaarno.

  5. Nabad_dadaye, akhi runta hadaan kuu sheego, Al-Shabaab iyo qof baa la dilay waa excuse to make mock of the deen for some of these people. They are using a logic that syas ""Al-shabaab maydin caayin, therefor diinta dhan ana waan ku tuman"! Every topic on SOL Shabaab excuse ka dhigta. Al-shabaab dambigay galaan, ma waxaa la yidhi markaa wax kasta ku tumta? Shabaab diinta Allah ma laha, ee bal Allihiin ka cabsada qofkii muslim ahow. Burahadader, ilaa hada waxayaabaha foosha xun ay diinta ka soo qortay qof juuq dhahay adiga(nabad_dadaye iyo walaalka Genius) uun baan ka arkay. Bal walaalaha kale meeya? Who cares about Shabaab, diintaadii baa laga hadlayaa. Laakiin waa sidaan sheegay, isku meel lagama duulayo, adigu diin baad ka hadlaysaa akhil karim, dadkaan xanaaq bilaa micnaa iska haya. Dadka qaarkiisna cay uun bay hayaan, and name calling.
  6. "Oh You who listen to Music" O Muslim, lawful things have good attributes, Where is the good in singing, dancing and listening to flutes? Can we compare the words of singers and sounds of Musicians, To the Glorious Quran, its lessons, wisdoms and admonitions? How many singers do you know and give admiration, And how many do you know of the companions and the following generation? How much do you spend on singers from your dollars? Compared to how much you know of Islamic Scholars. Do you see how much is memorized of Music songs? While you ignore the book to which memorization belongs? How much do you memorize of these incantations? And swayed back and forth in intoxication? Have you not seen those who follow the misguided? And increase the loudness of the Music, when they should hide it? And who writes their songs? Thinkers, or men of academia? Or maybe scholars, like Ahmad, Malik or maybe ibn Taymiyah. Oh you who listen to music Don't you see that all the songs of the world and all the lyrics you've seen, Wouldn't compare in reward to Alif Laam Meem
  7. Early Generations of Muslims on Music This clip shows the different names early Muslims had for music. You can usually tell how the Muslim felt about something from the names they give it. This is an indication that Muslims did not regard music as good thing like they do today.

  9. Great Scholars of Islam on Music. Is Music Haram?
  10. @Aaliyah walaal, with all due recpect, how can u in the music thread talk about how haram music is, and that one should listen to the quran, and in this thread say that "this is between her and Allah etc"! And u'r calling the brothers advice or opinion in this thread "nonsens", ukhti, with all due respect, Allah ka cabso, one need to be consistent in his speach, we cant pick and choose in Islam. Having u'r awrah covered is a bigger responsibility than the music issue. All I'm say'n is, dont make this kind of stuff personal, and dont make it like its about attacking the sister. No one is attacking her, and even is there was, than there would be some truth in they're speach. But I think it's wrong to criminalise the ones that says something islamicly like "cawradeeda inay asturtaa fiican" etc. We should rather focus on people like Burahadeer, that is calling Islam for "fundamentalist". Waxaas baa qalad ah, waana xadgudub meesha ugu dambaysa. And no one have said anything about it, laakiin dadkii yidhi "is astur" loo dhamee. I've lately seen that anyone that shows a little bit islamic opinion in some of the discussions, isla markaba waa lagu yaaci with "fundementalist, Al-shabaab, moove on"! Where on the other hand, la arkayo dad dambi cad qof ugu hambalyaynaya. Ama dambi cad ku taagan u sacabinaya, just take a look on some of the threads. Why are we supporting dambiga, and being proud of the sinner in his sin, and talk bad of the few brothers/sisters that says "shaygaan waa xaraam ikhwaani, Allah ka cabsada"! That surely was what the prophet(salallahu alayhi wasalam) camed with. Inaynu sidii markaa gaaladii Quriash u dhaqano maahoo, cay iyo aflagaado ka daba tuurno those individuals. This is not about "Qofka iska daaya, allah baa u qabasanayee", as long as there is people oo u sacabinaya qof dambi ku taagan, ama dambi ku taageerayaa, dad dhinaca kale the Islamic view sheegaya lama waayayo. Aakhiro waxaa la ina waydiin, dadkaynu garabtaagnaan jirnay markaynu aduunka joognay, the people we used to defend.
  11. Salam Naxar brother, there are many things that made the scholars say that Music is haram, first of all there is this hadith: “Among my ummah there will be people who will regard as permissible adultery, silk, alcohol and musical instruments.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5590) About how the scholars came to conclusion that this vers “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead (men) from the path of Allaah…” [Luqmaan 31:6] was talking about music and singing. It was actually the great Sahabi Ibn Abbas, and he was one of the most knowledgeable person ever about matters of the religion, that made this tafsir. It says in one of the tafsir: The scholar of the ummah, Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: this means singing. Mujaahid (may Allaah have mercy on him, is Ibn abbas's student) said: this means playing the drum (tabl). (Tafseer al-Tabari, 21/40). And not only that we have tons of reports form the early scholars, like the Sahaba, the tabi'ien(the ones after the sahaba), and all 4 different school of thoughts(Malik, Ahmed, Shafi'i, Hanafi), that all saying that music is haram, and that's what they have heard from the scholars before them. And we should know that these people know the arabic language better than anyone, and they(the sahaba) had the prophet(salallahu alayhi wasalam) to ask if they didn't understand. And what we are talking about here is "musical instrument"! Making anasheed without "musical instrument" is of course ok. Brother wallahi, if we would read and listen to the quran everyday we wouldn't need music or even have time for it. Our hearts would bee filled with the joy and hapinnes of the quran. But we are today in a state where music makes us happy, and alive, and when the quran is being played we dont feel anything, May Allah soften our hearts.
  12. Naxar u are alone in u'r statement. If u wanna listen to music so be it, laakiin dont make this an excuse of why "music is halal", that's wrong sxb. U'r logical thinking will not change of what the scholars of Islam, and what there have been narrated to us from the salaf said about music. Music is haram, whether we have the knowledge for why it is or not. And adoo daacad ah, have u read why the scholars say it's haram in detail? The religion is not based on "LOGIC", if u really want to know why music is haram, and where the scholars have this idea from, you could easily find this in the books of the scholars. last but not least, the loong article u have found, dosn't change anything walaal. We are talking about Islam, and not what some random non muslim expert have written about music. If it did count, that would mean that If I found an article about why "alcohol is soo good, and healthy", miyaa ayadana la banayn? U are using an ayah from the koran, in u'r signatur, which is good, but try to follow the rest of the religion too bro. Waa wajib dadka saaran to clarify this kind of stuff, even if u do listen to music. One thing is to do the act, another thing is to say "waa xalaal", this is a far greater sin. This is a sincere advice from your brother. Some reading on why music is haram: http://www.islamqa.com/en/ref/5000/music http://www.islamqa.com/en/ref/50687/music
