  1. I dislike bulo, its the most pathetic somali dance I ever had the chance to dance to, must admit laakin I very much liked the drum beat then the dance. I was first introduced to it by couple of freinds. They were every keen on the dance unlike myself. Nothing compares to Dhaanto and sharah ops and did I not mention buraanbur.
  2. ^^Odd you mention this, it escaped my mind I was so caught up in following VA tech shooting. Originally posted by Violet: ^ Jump in and do what? They were in their lecture hall. The most they could do is throw a textbook at him. Aaliyah-416; Muslims are not immune from getting depressed or committing suicide. Come on, they could have done something like all rush towards him better 2 dead than 25 in a single class room, I am sure one bullet didn't kill the lot. Did it? As far as I am concerned it was a tragic event nevertheless they were cowards.
  3. Can someone please explain how one person could walk into a class of 25 students and kill the lot without any resistance? is it me or is the average american a fuleey? Noone had the courage to jump him? From what I have read he had time to re-load his gun before going for a second around. Shootings like these definitely tarnish the so-called American dream , likely I am not from there

  8. Wadaad guys are so over-rated, all I care about is a brother with a wonderful akhlaaq and ofcourse he must pray five times. Like the prophet(pbuh) said, the best among you before Islam(in jahilya) were the ones with great character and the best among you are still those who had the great character and embraced Islam, that my dear freinds speaks volumes.
  9. "Does my bum look big in this?" Shouldn't be "Does my head look big in this?" more appropriate I think. I love guntiino always had a thing for guntiino. Those of us that have less adipose tissue than the average somali lady have an appreciation for guntiino Perfect to show off our curves The white dress I have yet reached a decision.
  10. I can't remember the last time I exercised, it certainly was years and years ago. I am naturally fit
  11. Aqas! This topic should be removed. Homesexuality is abundant in Saudi Arabia. Families live in fear, they constantly have to watch over their young sons in cases they are abuducted and raped by other men. I am disturbed such unislamic behaviour is being carried out in the prophets birth place. It makes me sad to now the muslim ummah have hit rock bottom.
  12. I like being Somali if that's what you mean. I don't know where I would be without my dirac , guntiilo and my koob of shaah. Somali rasmi ayaan ahay
  13. I personally prefer a male to be my boss , simply because they are less b!tchy and catty. My current manager is a male he fails miserably in the department of personality I am still trying to comprehend how on earth he got his job? Connections --ummm that would sound right!
  14. Black? Yaahuu...... A somali pride should never smile. The guy looks a whole lot more modest than the pride herself. This is ceeb
  15. Seynab Cige a legend I say. Qabrigii Jacaylka her sensational album says so much about this woman and her wicked tunes! Check out track 7. I insist.
  16. Nandos , yuck! it's beyond me how anyone can eat their food. Load of rubbish.
  17. What's all the fuss about? this sort of behavior is not new in UK. I have watched several shows dedicated to racism in UK, thankfully I don't live there and I wouldn't imagine myself there ever again.
  18. HIV should be the least of our issues. We need to concentrate on diseases that are more common in our country and ways to combat those diseases. Diseases like malaria and TB, funny how basic treatment can prevent diseases mentioned above.
  19. I have been following this story for sometime. I am glad it ended on a good note. To allah we belong and to him is our return.
  20. Warnings! Never get involved in Russian politics unless you want to set off to your grave faster than a speeding bullet
  21. Personally, I think 21 or 23 is a great age to have your first child. NOT all couples may see it that way depending on their situation etc... It's never wise to have children when you are a child yourself likewise you should never delay having children. With older age you draw closer to serious complications. Interesting to know, children born to young mothers (by that I mean mothers younger than 25) are twice more likely to live to be 100 years old than those born to older mothers. Sweet statistics seem to be on my side
