Dadaab! ! ! Refugee Camp is in north eastern Kenya, and holds nearly 300,000 refugees from Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia. The conditions in the camp are deplorable, and this fundraiser will help provide students in the camp with free textbooks and other school supplies so they can make the most of their education. ^Growing up in Pakistan, I came to know and understand the Afghan culture and that of the Indian Sub-Continent. There are many horrifying practices. These practices predate Islam.These cultures make the Somali culture million times over more attractive. P.S. Owning these adolescent boys is symbol of status.
