  3. ^LooooooooooooL....I don't think Caano Geel can point where Xamar and Addis are on the map let alone make comparisons.
  4. ^It doesn't bode well for the rebels when they can't even secure high profile detainees. p.s. I would imagine Misrata fighters would want revenge for the siege of their city.
  5. ^I guess they only agree in their opposition to Gaddafi.

  7. The sooner they score Tripoli the better and they need to ask tribal militias to go back to their cities of origins. One intelligent thing they did was that any assault on city or town is led by native sons, in other words, the attack on Tripoli is spearheaded by people from Tripoli and the same went for ever fallen city. Sirte should pose the most important dilemma now for the rebels.
  8. Oba....The west welcomed back Gadaffi from 'cold' when he gave up his weapons and open Libya's oil and gas to the Western corporations , not to mention he supported their war against terror and was their guard against black African migrants, you are telling me the rebel forces will do any worse? And I think really you give the West too much power, like anything else, there's limit to what they could do and they have no control over the masses that they came to the Arab streets, Nuune....AJ English is in late updating developments indeed.

  12. Libya rebels advance into Tripoli after fierce fighting A convoy of Libyan rebels has rolled into Tripoli past celebrating crowds after a day of heavy fighting in and around the capital. They appeared to meet little resistance and civilians emerged to cheer them, waving flags and firing salutes as they passed in their pick-ups. It was unclear how far they had advanced and how much of the city was still under government control. The rebels say they have captured Col Muammar Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam. National Transitional Council chairman Mustafa Mohammed Abdul Jalil informed al-Jazeera TV of the capture. Col Gaddafi is believed to still have thousands of armed followers in the capital but other reports suggest a number of them have been surrendering to the rebels. Gun battles have been raging near a hotel used by foreign journalists. Rebel forces advanced from the east and west in recent days, backed by Nato aircraft enforcing a UN resolution to protect civilians. The UK Government said on Sunday night: "It is clear from the scenes we are witnessing in Tripoli that the end is near for Gaddafi. He has committed appalling crimes against the people of Libya and he must go now to avoid any further suffering for his own people." Bloody battles As one force of rebels arrived from the west, another was setting up checkpoints in suburbs on the eastern outskirts. It is clear there have been bloody battles in parts of Tripoli, the BBC's Matthew Price reports from the city. In areas where the fighting has not been taking place, people are said to be staying indoors, our correspondent adds. Gunfire could be heard to the east, west and south of the city centre. Four loud explosions were also heard. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-14608807

  15. Interesting read, Does being a Somali Christain or an atheist means bashing Muslims and Islam? The deceased man it seems tried his best to honor his heritage and practise his new faith.
