Somali fobs immigrating are bringing their filth to Canada
Che -Guevara replied to AbdiJohnson's topic in General
Gooni...The West says all the stuff you listed simply because that's part of their culture. Their children and our children are exposed to the same things and face the same problems granted they have more resources by virtue being natives. Only good parenting and involved community can counter the ill behaviors. Many Somali parents or Somalis in general blame the West instead of looking at their short comings. -

Somali 'politicians' are in general shameless but the ones in Xamar are rotten to the core. The man had the time and mandate to help his people in the smallest possible, nothing big. Instead he and his cohorts are grabbing what they can while AMISOM massacres families in Marka and Halgan. Petty politics and thievery will be his legacy. And the so called parliament....dang it. And what useless speaker!!!! And there is the incompetent over-fed PM. -
Blue..Try this Gorfaynta Silsiladdii Deelley by Ibrahin Yusuf Ahmed. It is on Amazon for reasonable price. Thanks for Xaaji Nuune, that's greet resource. There is a little on the way and we want her to be fluent in Somali.

Appointed Governor of War Criminal Siilanyo Humiliated in Ceerigaabo
Che -Guevara replied to Saalax's topic in Politics
One would think the old man will spend his golden years in a comfortable villa surrounded by family and friends since he already took a bite at the apple once. Somaliland needs a younger (not the short dude), vibrant leadership, not one beholden to tribal leaders and crooked businessmen. -
The Oromo are politically docile even great numbers,at least for now, but you cannot blame for seeking better lives and for Somalis not working at all. Why work when someone in the Qurbaha is sending money. I really don't think they have a plan, but maybe the Woyanes, who are grabbing everything before the shit hits the roof or Amharas who dream of bygone empire, do. I don't see any Somali entity doing anything. It is more important to fight over kursi.

Apparently, the agreement will be discussed. http://somali.raxanreeb.com/2015/06/golaha-wasiirrada-puntland-oo-garoowe-ku-yeeshay-shir-xasaasi-ah-akhrisawirro/

I didn't believe the number when the Minister first mentioned it. If it's indeed true, it has to be State backed, no private enterprise would invest that much money in such volatile region. I was also wondering about the company that will be building the port. I haven't seen anything to suggest that can undertake a project of this size. http://www.somaliaonline.com/community/topic/divers-marine-contracting-l-l-c/ Ethiopia came to mind as they have been buying ships. There are already three docked at Djibouti. I don't see Ethiopia shelling out that money and not wanting to control the port hehe. p.s. I don't know about Xamar but my guess is the Turks couldn't find any honest brokers or they didn't see a good return on their investment.

Had the same question.

Galbeedi. The people are decent and I am sure we will speak up soon. But I agree Sland politicians like all other Somali politicians are corrupt to the core. -
I was hoping the bid would go to a company with better track record like CCECC, the airport bid winner. I think DP might invest and manage Berbera Port but you are right they control everything in the Emirates. I read the PDF files, they look semi-professional.
