It makes no sense, Why can't the locals elect local officials and governors? As they say, all politics is local.

Peace is a precious commodity in the Somali peninsula. Hopefully, these two habro sub-clans are wise enough to realize what's at stake. In the last couple of days, close to 20 people died fighting in eastern Mudug. No serious person can say why these people had to die or what was to be gained in starting the conflict. Somalis used to use fists and budh, now it seems bullets have became the first and only option in settling scores.
