  1. Should Ethiopia fall apart, would Somalis be able to take advantage of the situation? We have never been the ones to take advantage of an oppurtunity. Should they lose power, TPLF will declare independence and Oromo are for secession too.
  2. The International media is saying dozens, but people on the ground say the number is much higher. Woyane regime is beginning to unravel as people are no longer fearful. Several Ethiopian bases in Somalia have been dismantled in the past three months; soldiers are heading to Oromo and Amhara regions.
  3. Everyone is setting up shop in Somalia. Alla Ha Unaxariisto intii dhimatey. Galmudug needs to address these issues. It is not acceptable that attacks are planned and orchestrated from their domain.

  5. Those talks were part of a MoU the two countries signed in 2009 to specifically deal with the dispute through negotiations and with guidance from the UN Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf. Kenya agrees that there had been two meetings in 2014 up to July 2014, but which were only at “technical level” and meant to boost confidence between the two sides that there was a solution on the horizon. The said that meeting which was to happen in August failed because Kenya did not show up citing, in court documents, that its delegation would not be assured of safety. Somalia accused Kenya of a no-show without explanation, but Nairobi argues even the third meeting was only about “bridging the gap of differences between the two sides. http://www.nation.co.ke/news/Kenya-denies-Somalia-s-claim-on-maritime-boundary-dispute/1056-3390446-fxx69g/index.html
  6. That's mostly true. Kenya presented another document by Fowsia; in it, the parties seem to suggest that they will agree on framework or methods of settling the dispute. We have to be very vigilant! Something new from Kenyans http://www.hiiraan.com/news4/2016/Sept/117781/kenya_and_somalia_plan_free_visa_pact.aspx
  7. It's also worth remembering the Norwegians and their companies jump ships when the issue came to light. Don't negotiate or sign anything without your lawyers being present

  9. This "European Court" is not afraid of setting precedent when it comes to Africa states. From a legal irrespective, Kenya's case is flimsy. That said what irks me is Cumar Calooley, Shariif Gaab and Abdishakur Nacas are actually contesting in the Somali "election". They have no shame at all.
  10. Hehe, no chilling anymore, parenthood changed things, but I still make sure that I have some downtime.
  11. They have an irrational fear of black people. Obama cannot wait to get out of office. Eight years of dealing with nut jobs is enough.
  12. I check the site once in awhile. It reminds me of one of diaspora- based Somali tribal website. That said it does captured the feelings of the Tigrays. The Woyanes have made one too many enemies. The Woyanes will ensure the disintegration of Ethiopia should they be removed from power. We should support whoever will ensure the return of our people and land including Diridhabi and Harar. I think every nation in Ethiopia does not want to see the return of chauvinistic Amharas,
  13. It's still good to read Rumi when high :-)
  14. Blue, I am well. Ciid wanaagsan.
  15. It makes no sense, Why can't the locals elect local officials and governors? As they say, all politics is local.
  16. Peace is a precious commodity in the Somali peninsula. Hopefully, these two habro sub-clans are wise enough to realize what's at stake. In the last couple of days, close to 20 people died fighting in eastern Mudug. No serious person can say why these people had to die or what was to be gained in starting the conflict. Somalis used to use fists and budh, now it seems bullets have became the first and only option in settling scores.
  17. Whatever Salad has done in the past, he is not the one stealing money from the Somali Central Bank in the middle of the night.
