  2. So, the Horn Watch director Mr. Bulale made up the story is that what you are saying ya JB? who made the accusation dee?
  3. Jb, forget about who likes what and what is morally right or politically correct, tell us all the crazy khat session stories ela Hergeisa style.
  4. JB, war maxay tahay naf la caarigaan? Bashir Raaggena ma waxbaa laga deyay?
  5. It all comes down to the notion of all is bad of what's left of the republic of Somalia except us. Recognize us and we will fix the issues of the south, and Puntland when the reality is far from this dream. Back to topic and piracy, I wonder how will "SL's mighty navy" gonna deal with this ragtag ex PL police turned pirates? The truth is, these ragtag pirates rule the coast of Somalia from strait of Aden to big the big Indian Ocean. What Western navies couldn't stop wont be stopped by the so called SL's navy.

  7. Wadhyaa waraabe, odayga Admiral ah ee M Omar OSman, goormuu doorasha qabanayaa oo uu ka dagayaa helm ONLF? Inaa isa soo sharaxaan rabaaye. On a serious note, I pretty much against name change. Let the region be known as it is, I don't know why people cant see the big picture of liberation and only see the "name" which may have clan connotation. Anyway, it is nice read.
  8. Fahiye, if there is anyone with massive lies that's you my friend. I was expecting you to prove something here, but you brought little to the discussion. You said "he has a very little intellectual capacity" if that is not an arrogant and smear line, I don't know what it is. Fahiye, why would it matter whether he know Tony Blair or Jeremy who? Lastly, thank God Puntland's election aint in your hand, and your dossier will have little or no impact on his chance of winning that post. Fahiye, tsunami of change is heading to Puntland, like it or not.
  9. Norf1 that would have been true if only there were "seasoned fellas" with good record to stand with. You have like of Cadde and Faroole who might be considered to be old foxes, but their broken record speak for them. Then you have the Gen. Ilka-jiir and Prof. Farjac, and they are both new to the arena just like he is. Some people were wondering how this selection/election going to happen. Based on Puntland's process of selection, you will need to get the majority of the vote in the parliament in the final round of vote casting. Now, the question is, who elects the members of the parliament? Well, each province has set numbers (qouto)of people that will represent them in the house, and the elders of each province select their members. I dont want go too much into this, bur what i know is that this time elders (not all from some regions mainly Mudug and Bari)have agreed to allow intectuals, business people, women group and even youth to take part in selection process. This will allow the people to have some say of who will represent them there. So, at least there will be good people in the house and that will make the difference. let us just sit and wait what happens between now and Jan 09.
  10. What is so relevant of this day ya Horn? At least would have been good if you would open thread commemorating his death or birth, rather oct 21th which is irrelevant to today's Somalia. Why would you want people to throw insults back and forth on this diseased man? Dambi un baa kaa soo gaaraaya saa filaayo. Allah ha u naxariisto isagana.
  11. Norf1, why are you hijacking the thread? if there is need for clarification of the issue you have with Puntland, its creation, or its president, I guess you should open a new thread for that. For Fahiye, you said you know the guy both in Somalia and in Pakistan, yet you haven't prove any point why he is not suitable for the post. All you are doing is to shout from you lungs and spread lies. You dismiss rest of the people in SOL and expect your opinion on him to stand. If there is personal grunge between you 2 so be it, but stol this nonsense. About the experience thing some point out, gimme a break guys, since when experience and Somali politician go hand in hand? experience kulahaa, from Riyaale to Cadde Muse illaa iyo Bai**** inta fadhisa xornimo markii la qaaday illaa hadday badankood joogeene, maxay baddaleen?
  12. ^^ aha, what a dishonest piece of "you know" you have murmured there. Your mumbling tone says it all my dear friend. Thousands of Puntlanders have put their trust in him when they needed him most and he has performed the duties that were trusted in him honorably and truthfully. There are countless people here in SOL that know the man and worked with him both in the UK and in Somalia, and they said nothing, but good things about him. He worked with numerous UN agencies with UNICEF being his last. So,for you to come out and dishonestly assassinate his character and integrity will not work. Come up with something tangible and facts or else shush it. Wonder what is your motive brushing him with all of these lies you wrote on SOL screen.
  13. Nuradinmania indeed, he is new bred of Somali politician. He is young, very charismatic, and extremely intelligent(i sound like selling the dude eh.)I guess a lot of ya'll know him too and confirm my assertions. Paragon, there is some sort of understanding between him(Nuradin)and Gen Ilka-jiir, and I have the sense that them two might pair(pre/vp) if one wins. I know they are 2 front runners that will likely win(if fair selection is held that is.) Let us just hope that Cadde does come back.
  14. Zack, he is indeed running for the Puntland presidency and he did campaign in Punland, but the reason why he was in North America was to get the support of the diaspora morally and financially as well.
  15. Che, he never intended to come to Boston to begin with and reer Pakistan in Boston either went to Mnpl or Columbus to meet him. Enough crowd came in all the three places he has visited and that was a good thing for him. All in all, let us hope that he gets the post he's running for.
  16. War maxaa meeshan boor la iskugu qarinaa.. We all know that clan names are banned, but people metaphorically use the clan names. People use(negatively)words such as "secessionist,looters,da.ba.******s" when we all know it's meant to hurt certain people. So, people became so accustomed to this kind of low blows long time ago and if there is need to clean up place, I don't think it should start with certain individuals. That is my 2 kumi. AT&T, soo anigii ku iri iska har ninkaan DQ ah, maxaa ku daba dhigay wali. Teeda kale you throw some low blows sometimes too. Marka ninkii qabiil caaya asagay u taalaaya ha iska waalin ninyahow.
  17. Waxaan uga harayaa bal in your wishfull thinking miro dhalo.
  18. What if those Somalis you said are sleeping with the enemy have more men in the camp that you support? More men than they have in the "enemy camp."
  19. Red sea, to rally your tolka is not a bad idea at all. Your argument though has some holes brother. To point out some, you call some Somalis as hypocrites for not standing with the Shabaabs while you justify your tolka for doing the same. You call your tol "bystanders" and "isolationists" and added that you understand where they are coming from. If you really believe what this guys stand for as you asserted (muslinimo and somalinimo) then why can't you embrace that and drop this Land you so obsessed with.
  20. War heedhe Abtigiisow, adigiiba wax tuur joojin la'a maxaan wax qabanaa dee. Adigu sidii aad uga soo hor jeeday peace caravan kii baad heshiiskanna u diidan tahay soo maaha? See how many fronts baad ka dagaalamaysid.
  21. Xiinow ninku heshiiska ma diidanee bal adna soo dag oo darinta fidi..
  22. Originally posted by Resistance: Is well known that thespritual and Ideological leaders of Al-Shabaab are orginally Somaliland. So i can see where Red Sea is going with this. Could you enlighten us and tell all of these spiritual leaders that we don't know of? Even if there are thousands of northers in this group doesn't anything, as they ideology and agenda stand much wider than Land this and that.
  23. Would have been good if you would call on all Somalis rather your own Tolka. You said Somalilanders, and then mention few towns. Then you went on wrote this somalilanders like Sh. Saylici (current chair of Kismayo), Sh. Mukhtar Abuzubeir, commander of Alshabaab, Gen. Mohamed Ghalib, duputy of the ICU and the hundreds of fighters from Burco and Hargeysa participating in the Jihad and dying there. Now, do you think these guys call themselves Somalilanders? I doubt it. My advise to you is that if you call on all Somalis to stand up and unite do it so, if not then just keep my reer is better than the rest crap.
  24. BOB, speaking of those Nigerian low budget movies, can you believe that Somalis in the States (or at least in my town)are crazy about them. Every house you visit, you would see an entire family sitting down and watching the kind of movies. I wonder sometimes if they can even understand that accent at all( Eeh mo brodha hoo r yuh? i yom fontantik eeeh.) And about the giving HIV thing that really funny to say the least.
