  1. THIRST QUENCHER, REHYDRATE, REPLENISH, REFUEL I think it's GATORADE. It rehydrates & replenishes the body by replacing the lost electrolytes. I'm not sure if that's right...so I cant post a question.

    Hijaabed Hair

Ok. But I can never leave my hair down while wearing the hijaab...I find that the hair irritates my neck or it'll make my hijaab look all puffy.

    Hijaabed Hair

Thanks sis. When its curLy i wouLd use a cLip and than voiLa'! You mean those big hair clips? And just pile it to the back of the head and clip it? Doesn't your hijaab look soo big then?

    Hijaabed Hair

Salaams sisters.. I think it's time we talked hair! I was wondering if any of you know a simple way to wear your hair, when it's hijaabed..other than the obvious style of putting it in a bun. I'm accustomed to wearing it in this style, but it gets annoying when you have your hair curly, because you'll have a huge bump at the back...and I really hate that. So do any of you wear it in other way, that's doable by most? I'm rather challenged when it comes fancy hairdos. Salams

  21. ^ pats ya on the back. & Mizz...good decision. Ameenah, thanks sis. That was a nice piece. Flying: The skirts and the hijaabs are not a problem for me too..but finding a nice comfortable top that looks good with the hijaab is hard to find. What most of the stores carry is not designed for Muslimahs. Most of the nice shirts don't even pass the waist...and I'd like something that'll cover my behind ..Any suggestions?

Ya Allah. Raxmah, Jazakallahu khairan sis. That was very informative piece! May ALlah make us one of pious women. Amiin.
  23. *SILVER* You are imaginative and fun, you love trying new things. You like to challenge yourself and you learn things easily, you're easy to talk to and you give good advice. When comes to friendship, you find it hard to trust someone, but once you find the right friend, you trust them forever. ^ Somewhat describes me.
  24. ^^ Loool!! Miskiin. Oh wait, it was only your shoes! If you guys are gonna avoid any buses..let it be the Sherbourne bus! You meet the weirdest bunch on that bus (the druggies and the unstable folks) I learned my lesson, when this lady threw up on the back of the bus...and I was covered with splotches of her vomit from the back of my jacket all the way down to my shoes! To make matters worse, it was around late March, when SARS began..and I was on the way to school to write an Exam...
