lol@mataan Phew! ...what a relief. I thought something was up... Rashida... I hope you're joking. Don't tell me you were told that by a psychic??
  2. Lulla, I'm inviting myself.... There are a couple of people I'd really like to meet.
  3. Most of my favourite sites have been included in this post.... Islam-qa.com, Islamcity.com, and Islam.com. But I'd like to add... www.themodernreligion.com
  4. Dhoocilyaasha kibir badnaa? And you don't know these girls at all? it's usually when they know that they have something against you...but someone you've never met before...that's weird!

  8. Indhadeeq...i know its awkward...but as Tamina says increase your deeds with small actions...include the salaan, so you don't feel weird. MMA...try it out in the real world. You'll get something, even though you might feel as it was useless....it might have done wonders for the other person...and it will pay off later for you. so you feel better now?
  9. Jazakallah khairan for sharing that beautiful story with us. It was definitely worth the read. loved it!

    B.O and Xigaab

I'm missing the humour in this post...seriously. CS.. I don't see why you have to post that in here. If you have encountered this...then keep it to yourself. You don't have come here and humiliate these sisters. All you have done is open the road for the others to throw insults at these pious sisters. Ma'sha Allah, these sisters are observing the proper hijab. We should be applauding them and following in their foot steps...not sitting here cracking jokes about them. Taqwa, as always you are too hard on people...but I partially agree with your post this time. MMA...I love that pic.
  11. The Value of a Smile It costs nothing, but creates much. It enriches those who receive, without improverishing those who give. It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None are so rich they can get along without it, and none so poor but are richer for its benefits. It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and Nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no earthly good to anybody till it is given away. And if in the daily rush of day-to-day work, someone should be too tired to give you a smile, can you leave one of yours? For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give! -Unknown The prophet SAWS said "smiling in the face of your brother is a charity"....
  12. I'm not much of a soccer fan...but I say ITALY will take the cup this yr. That's my prediction...or hope.
  13. LOL...Jamal.. THere was a guy named Suckdeep(sukdeep)in my grade 8 class...walaahi. Poor guy. The somali joke was pretty funny too... I don't see it as being offensive when it's shared among us somalis only. But I'll be  if i hear it from anyone else.
  14. LOL...that's soo true. But this also applies to adults sometimes...
