  4. Asalamu Calykum, biG mOm, Thanks for that walaal. SCORPION_SISTA, I don't agree with your theory...I think that is oversimplyfying things...First of all, if i am not mistaken, supposdely jin who overtakes a body, usally exzibt their personality through, and they have different voices and attitudes...Now jin domination of a body or a person has nothing to do with social logical issues, it's just a pure luck...Now multiple personality to me, really comes from one person trying to cope with many espect of their lives and over a long period of suppression of certain events, they have this personalities that are not effected by events...Many people trying to avoid unpleasent memories, espically children, lock these same events and memories that even at sometimes they don't remember it happening Thanks for your opinion great to hear another prespective my siblings think my theory is preposterous, but nevertheless thank you . Salaam

  6. Asalamu Calykum, I have to do an assignment on a psychological illness. I chose multiple personality because I found it fascinating if you are unaware of what this disorder is here is an introduction: Multiple personality Multiple personality is a very rare psychological disorder in which a person has two or more distinct personalities, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior. The personalities often are direct opposites and dominate at different times, with abrupt transitions triggered by distressful events or memories. Each may be entirely unaware of the other but aware of unexplained gap in remembered time. In psychiatry the condition is known as dissociative identity disorder. The term “split personality,” denoting schizophrenia, refers to an unrelated disorder in which the split (separation) is between thought and feeling. Multiple personality was first recognized and described by the French physician Pierre Janet in the late 19th cent. Public awareness of the disorder increased in contemporary times after a case was the subject of The Three Faces of Eve (1957). In the 1980s and early 90s, such factors as recognition of child abuse, public interest in memories recovered from childhood (whether of actual or imagined events), allegations of so-called satanic ritual abuse, and the willingness of many psychotherapists to assume a more directive role in their patients' treatment, led to what came to be regarded as a rash of over diagnoses of multiple personality. I have studied this condition thoroughly and I have concluded that this is illness is a definite outcome of a Jinn. I believe that Jinn who has entered this persons body have caused this “disorder”. My Aunty once told when a Jinn enters your body you are unaware of what happening or happened synonymous to Multiple personality. I find that the more I look into these cases the more I am convinced my theory is accurate. I want to see another perspective and opinion. So…is my theory really true? Salaam

  8. Asalamu Calykum, Do we lack current educators that control and produce intellectual property of extraordinary breadth and depth? From reading all the possible reasons as to why the Somali youth are "decaying", that question is what I believe our community should ask ourselves. . Me and a friend were discussing something along those lines when she finally concluded that "It does not matter if an individual has great intellectual influence around them it all comes down to who you are as a person" I disagree it is no coincidence that Somali youth seem to be "decaying" all around the world. Another point we should consider is the lack of restrictions my Somali friends have more freedom than my European friends, surely something must be wrong  . I know being too strict is never a solution but you have to be aware of what your child is doing. About the Somali culture I strongly believe we should boycott it, it never got us anywhere in our country so why would it here. I am not saying lets totally abandon our culture but lets just stick to our Islamic teachings and Inshallah our problems will decrease. I know it is not as easy as I put it but the more religious teachings our youth are exposed the less amount of activities (that are not only morally wrong but Islamically forbidden) they would participate in. Me personally is lucky (al-hamdulilaah ) to be blessed with parents that are very intelligent and wise. Both Islamically and academically. I strongly believe the influence you have in your home environment and even more so your social environment plays a major role on who you are and will become.
  9. Asalamu Calykum, MALAIKA jamilah( 2 grown up for her age ) Wow i will try to live up that reputation, Thanks sis. Salaam
  10. Asalamu Calykum, WOW this sounds really freaky , be really careful. If it was me who was in this situation i would want to find out how he got my number. Friends? possibly the one you are staying with? Do not eliminate any possibilities. Second option: 2-kidnap him, tie him up, blindfold him, take him to a forest, and leave him stranded in the middle of nowhere after humiliating him (get his clothes and shoes off, and leave him cold with only his pants on (u dont wanna c whats under there!) Once you do that above hope to God he is not a vengeful individual Keep in touch we are all praying. Salaam

    Note to Self

Asalamu Calykum, Note to Self: Better stop hanging around with such weird people.... in my little gang here are our nationalities (Me the "Somali-chick", Turk, Egyptian, Half Crotian-Slovenian, Dutch, Italian, Lebanese and Irish).....weird huh? Note to Self: Stop watching televsion all my favourite shows have a Jewish character. Note to Self: Just remember nothing is ever going to penetrate through my narrow-minded science teacher's mind. Salaam...
  13. Asalamu Calykum, I watch the news and right before my very eyes i witness the unjust conduct of nation and the world turns a blind eye, do you really believe America has done this for Iraq's benefit? Any person with their right mind should know by now their is another motive..... I have simply run out of words for such an ignorant brother. Salaam
  14. Asalamu Calaykum Let me just pick my jaw from the ground, Ahem, ahem i am profoundly baffled did you say the ARMY  , my eye sight cant be that bad can it??? Why would any self respecting women degrade her self in such manner to the point she wants to join the army when its against our religion for any man or woman to fight for a kufaar country. I am lost i cant belive this, sister i hope someone knocks some sense into you before its too late. Salaam
  15. Asalamu Calykum, I talked to a Shiek long time ago and I asked what would happened if some righteous man who has done nothing but righteous acts throughout his entire life was predestined to go to hell...and his response was that it could happen...you can be righteous person all your life and can end up in hell when you die b/c this was predestined for you. I would like to respectfully state this is the biggest rubbish I have read since I have here on somaliaonline, are you seriously saying that if a man was to do nothing but act on righteous deeds and believed in Allah he could go to hell? Never! Allah has promised those who have acted on his orders and have been obedient shall be rewarded with the great news of paradise. Subxanallah, sorry but I do not believe any wise Sheikh would ever have this theory. You make it seem as if Paradise and Hell was a thing by chance Salaam....
  16. Asalamu Calykum, i have also some problems, i am intelligent and so smart but most of the times i dont realize that, and it is giving my people bad mood, cause they tried hard to make me realize how smart i am but i just play dump all the time... You have an extremely big head. Salaam
  17. Asalamu Calykum, Captivating_SouL what can i say i am fluttered.
  18. Asalamu Calykum, Okay Okay, maybe i got carried away with the whole SARS thing but a health forum is a great idea. Salaam
  19. Asalamu Calykum, Men forum? What would you possibly discuss? I guess you deserve the right to have your own forum but still the question runs through my head. As for a health forum we could discuss about SARS would you beleive this, some Astro biologist actually believe that the SARS epidemic was caused from a comet that had sprinkled some sort of "space dust" into Earth and by that caused the epidemic to spread. I know scientist are really comical nowadays. My theory Asians + to many Cat-eaters = Sever Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Pretty simple theory and also comprehendible, Okay i admit this is not completely my theory i borrowed a bit from the news, Headline read:"Health reasearchers point finger at cats for SARS outbreak" but the equation is mine ( Asians + to many Cat-eaters = Sever Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). ). Marriage and Dating forum....go to the women forum those are the main topics. Salaam
  20. Asalamu Calykum, I dislike the way black people automatically assume you are acquainted it really is awakward especially when you are occupied with white friends they always ask "Do you know him/her" As for the white people teachers always seem to be surprized when you always get the top marks and when you correct them whether it me grammatically or a mathematical problem. So i guess they both have their pros and cons. But i pefer the white people, if i ever live in America (which i would never step foot in) i would pefer to speak like the white people. Salaam
  21. Asalamu Calykum, Thanks alot you guys for your help but sadly my question still remains unanswered. This friend of mine really believes that you have no control of your life that what you did and are going to do was planned out for you but seriously speaking i cannot get my head around to this theory because when you get up to pray you make this desicion it is not like as if it was planned for you to get up and it was not a desicion you made. Everytime i discuss this issue with somebody i am left in confusion and my head just goes aroung in circles. I really need an Islamic answer. Saalam
  22. Asalamu Calykum my dear sister, Jaza-kallah Khayr sister for the reminder I thought i was the only one who noticed this froum has been nothing but games lately. Inshallah we shall refrain from these silly games. Salaam
  23. Asalamu Calykum, No OG-moti you have not yet told us but we are all eagerly anticipating for the answer. During my end of year exams i will be turning 15  I know so young yet so old. Salaam
  24. Asalamu Calykum my fellow brothers and sisters, A friend of mine and I have been having a quarrel about “DESTINY AND FATE”. She seems to think that we have absolutely no control of the future and what will happened will happened. I saw this from an Islamic point of view Allah (SWT) knows what they future brings but we have control of the present for an example if there was an apple and pear in front of you and you had the choice to choose any of the fruit and you choose the apple Allah knows you would choose the apple but that does not mean you were “destined” to choose the apple but it was a choice you had. Waiting for a reasonable solution… Salaam
