  1. Raage Ugaas, the great Somali poet of late 19th century and early 20th century said: Baahida nin baa jira Kula daydayaayo daalna ka badane Aanse Doonahayn in hesho Dayim Abidkaaye Dadkuna moodi Duur wadasho Wax ukala dahsoonayne. The Reer Mudug know only one type of war, the fist fight, but the coastal communities or those with deep cultural civilizations fight in eleven different ways. Muuse Biixi is a deraged former Soldier who want to be a king in HArgeisa where every man is his own Suldaan. He not only misjudge the north, but the Somali people in general. In Hargeisa, they already call him " Muuse Handraab" the man who closed the gates. He is trying to be the same league with Omar Geelle, the former " Vice police squad" member, who became intelligence director and killed people for a living. HE brought both the Chinese and the Americans in the same house, but when the Americans ploted to move to Berbera for a change, Geelle struck and destablized both Berbera and Somaliland indirectly. Americans leaving Djibouti means many things. Knowing the coming cold war with China, the Americans might destablize the whole island than allowing the Chinese to share with them. Rather than tell Biixi to accept peace and withdraw from Laascaanood, he told him to fight to the death while sending false signals to the region as the man mediating the parties. AS such, the Americans had cancelled the African militery exsesise in Berbera and moved to Kenya. No body want to come to a war zone. Geelle, the double agent had scored against Somaliland again. Bebera has always been his target . Now, how about the leader of the elder counsil of Mogadishu HSM? A deadly war is been fought in Somalia and he is double talking like an elder who is paid from different accounts. How brain dead is Somalia that the leader of the country is hidding from his responsibility to save lives and bring peace. Why you are entertaining and laughing with Muuse Biixi in Djibouti if you can't call him when things are tough.Furthermore, he is traveling as usual while the UN and Human Right organizations are demanding a resolution for the conflict. We all know how weak the Somali government is since 1991, but one might think that the so called president would use his little legitimacy for leverage to pull people to his direction. If he keeps in this road, he might go down with Gelle who is in his last days. The UN must take its responsibilities seriously and take charge of the issue since Somalia has a president who is in charge MOgadishu and the surrounding towns only.
  2. Countless people including former UN envoy Mohamed Sahnoun told them in 1993 to declare the government of Somalia. The Maakhiri delegates from Sanaag in 1991 at the Burco Shir told how illogic is have to two Somali governments in Africa in these difficult times. Some of those men were former diplomats and expereinced beraucrats. Finally, they even told them, " Let us declare we are the real Somali state and put up the blue flag. With the Mogadishu mess Puntland would have joined and the world would have recognized the Hargeisa government. To rule Somalia you must have confedence and the vission. The men of SNM had a village mentality. Ruling over few pounds in the Somali sea was enough for the angry men of SNM.. Go and research, even A/raxman Tuur told them how illogic it was to declare session . Today players are the same villegers who opposed the logic.
  3. You know Ahmed Guled, You probably a young man, but I respect people like you because you went home for trying to build something, most of all I always liked the people of Bebera. I have seen Bernera sport teams come to Borama almost every year for community building. Of course Somalia was going down after 1985 and things went down the hell, but the rebels brought nothing but misery. Somaliland was possible only because people M. I. Cigaal ctreated an institution and Rayaale built on that by fulfilling his wish of elections and democracy. Since the rebels came back ( Oodweyne AKA Baal Xoofta and Xaaji) things went bad. We need to get rid of the old guard so peace could prevail. We held the Borama Shir in 1993 to get rid of SNM and elected a statesman like Cigaal by tracing era of the logic. Unfortunatly, there is no Cigaal in Somaliland today, the last statesman left is C/qaadir Jirde and he hails from the wring tribe. There is no Ina Maygaag Samatar, Sheikh Madar. Cabdi Waraabe or anyone else to right the ship. The best chance is for Muuse Biixi to resign.
  4. I am sick and tired of the children of evil rebels who destroyed our country compare the great state of Somalia which was notable in the continenet of Africa with these weak and corrupt despots who couldn't manage two or three town. I am sick and tired of hearing every comentator from respected people like Farah Macalin to the other arm chair analysts quiping the same frase, " Ma waxii Siyaad Barre Idinku sameeyey ayaad Laascaanood ku sameynaysaa", Ma waxii shalay aad ka cabanayseen ayaad dadka ku sameyneysaan". News flash for all: The military regime of Somalia was defending the Somali nation from the evil rebels armed by our historical enemy Mengistu Hailemarium who was the bloodest dictator of Africa killing a king, a provisional president and the leader of the Ethiopian Junta. He had a duty to flushout the rebels who sucidely stormed the second largest city of Somalia. By the way that war in Hargeisa city last only three weeks from late May to the late June 1988. The real war that destroyed Hargeisa and Burco Took place later. Do you fools know Mohamed Ibrahim Cigaal may-- he rest in peace-- had killed more people from 1994--1996 during the Maryo Allol wars that destroyed Burco and displaced tens of thousands of people. He was asked why he was waging the war? and he said, " Maamulkii yaraa ee aanu Boorama ku sameynay ayaanu bedbaadinaynay". Here Cigaal was killing over 5,000 people to preserve a minor regime that was only ruling between Berbera, Hargeisa and Boorama. If Jaale Siyaad and his government used scortched earth policy, there won't have been any uprising and everyone would have behaved like most Somalis under Ahmed Madoobe orMuuse Biixi. Here in North America if a criminal or some deranged person takes hostage someone with a gun, the swat team and the power of police will descend on him. Have you heard about a name by David Coresh who took hostage a church in Waco, Texas? after he refused to give up tanks were sent. The stupid Somali clans don't even understand what is at stake in terms of territorial soverignity and defending against rebels unleashed by Ethiopia. If Laascaanood was part of Somaliland why there was no Somaliland presence from 1991-2007. That was 16 years. Since when these enclaves Somali tribes set up during the vacuum have legitimate borders?. We all know there was no Somali government since 1991, other the those who control few blocks of Mogadishu. If those from Hargeisa think their survival is dependent of holding the free people of Sool hostage they are going down in the rabit hole quickly. Do you think bombing Laascaanood would make them love Somaliland? Some of us will be forming the October party of the Kacaankii Barakeysnaa. I know the evil rebels controled the airwaves from Mogadishu, Garoowe and Hargeisa for 30 years, and we have to present the real history of the evil alphabet rebels. Taariikh Cadawgii Dumiyey Qarankeenii waan soo bandhigaynaa.
  5. Che, what will be the move of the SSC now after this ceasefire? Do they have to continue their convention and set up the Maamul or continue the war? I think accepting the ceasefire and continuing the convention will serve them well. Somaliland couldn't disrupt their meetings anymore. I think they earned the right to decide.
  6. Of course they are buying time, but those among SSC must create some kind of Maamul. So far they haven't even formed a provisional Maamul to deal with the current issue. They have done well in terms of support among Somalis and international community. They need command and control of their militia and a civilian leadership. Unconfirmed reports say Somaliland negotiated with Puntland for the cease fire.
  7. Unilateral cease fire from Somaliland is a good move. The next step should be withdrawal of troops from the city and surrounding area. These kind of wars create hatred and unforeseen consequences. there are unscrupulous Youtubers who make money on the misery. Some have even targeted Borama, a city that welcomed everyone for thirty years with zero incident, yet they told their kin to move to Jigjiga. Don't they realize Jigjiga has the same residents as Borama or diverse .
  8. The Americans should be mad, because Muuse and company are making the terrorist issue like a joke that could be thrown around. If the siege of the city continues there must be candidates for war crimes. Muuse Biixi, M. Kahin Saleebaan Gaal Nuux Taani Saleebaan Koore. Muuse was probably looking some diplomatic missions to intervene and bring him, Puntland and Somalia to the table just like Tukaraq few years ago. No one called, and they all ignored. The guy is in short leash.
  9. Did you see the Tukaraq base? Waa oodii xoolaha lagu xeraynayey. This one in Yube was the largest base in the east, yet not one single building, offices, sleeping quarters for soldiers. They can't even put wires to keep trespassing or even a wall to protect those inside from elements. Another thing the war in Laascaanood thought me is if you could pay $100 dollars you could have militia. That is why I am planning to raise money and have my own militia. I want to recruit especially those from AWdal who are all transferred to the east since Muuse Juudaan took power. Why die in the east when you could liberate Awdal.
  10. There is no army or even organized militia. Have you seen the so called bases (Saldhiga ciidanka) in Tukaraq and outside Laascaanood? They are Make shift shelters made of wood or animal shelters like trees covered with clothes. I haven't seen one single tent or building. Those who know say, these are mostly homeless soldiers who pass their days and evenings chewing Qat and collapsing at night in these shelters. Other than the uniform and technicals which every outlaw could have, I haven't seen a real army.
  11. They know Awdal is probably the next region to explode. No one In Hargeisa or Berbera is asking the local government employees to pledge support for the war, yet in Borama the governor is demanding cash donations and public support. Soon they might target the Somali residents of Borama from other regions by creating fear and blaming the locals.
  12. Does Biixi realize that the only reason Somaliland ruled Sool was because of the division of the community and the backing of the local militia. Since the people are united for their cause and the militia had joined their people there is zero chance of holding to that region. How far is he willing to go before war crime charges are tabled by the international courts. You can't force A Somali nomad who want to be free, let alone the most independent of all nomads, the Daraawiish of Sool who have a great history of resisting one of the great powers of the 20th century. Ilaahay ha u naxariisto Jaale Siyaad. Jabhado cadawgii Mingestu soo hubeeyey ayuu dalka ka difaacayey isagoo ilaalinaya qarankii buuxay ee ummaddu wada hadhsanaysay. Bal waydiiya kuwana waxa ay difaacayaan ee ay hoobiyaha Laascaanood ugu garaacayaan.
  13. My God, this lunatic Muuse ans Ina Kahin had zero logic at all. Common sense would dictate that they should let the elders and Garaads decide their fate and just sit outside town until things change. In the meantime send as much as peace delegation as possible to bridge the gab and keep the status quo. But, one you get a blood thirsty warlords whose clock stopped in the late eighties and nineties expect disaster. Furthermore, who would believe this lying Ina Kaahin while everyone knows their ugly plans. They wanted to disrupt the the release of the communique of the Grand Shir , kill some of the Garaads and then claim to be chasing terrorists. Worst of all, they are calling for dialogue now after their defeat and disaster. They shell the city with artolatry after they have been chased out and call the victims terrorist? who would buy that fake news. They lost both the plot and the politics. While some of the Somaliland soldiers are boasting many others were thrown to the front by force and became victims. THese soldiers and the defenders of Laascaanood shouldn't be dying because of this warlord in Hargeisa. The dead is 28 from Somaliland with 80 wounded. There are some victims from the Awdal region who couldn't escape. Why would anyone die for $100 dollars? Everyone from the west is deployed to East. We the diaspora have to find ways to rescue these soldiers and abandon this ugly war by Muuse Biixi. Furthermore, why the fat man Deni is creating another military front in Nugaal? is he trying to aid the secessionists? I don't get these Puntland leaders who are evil and corrupt to core,
  14. Unlike Sool, a huge chank of SAnaag is out of the Somaliland control. Badhan, Hadaaftimo and Dhahar are either free or under PUntland. Furthermore, the Sanaag Bari people are originally coastal with great tradition of trade and internal rule. LIke the Awdalites, their traditional leader( The Sultan) has long history of being independent. Even the the British exiled Sultan Ina Shire. Also, unlike the Garaad community, they are not fragmented. It will be much easier for them to join the Sool project. Furthermore, if the Mogadishu government doesn't smell the coffee and lead a pro Somalia movement in the north, things could get worse. The H...rt have the largest landmass in Somalia from Buuhoodle to Gaalkacayo, from center of the Indian ocean to the Gardafu in the Red Sea. There could be a new movement to considerate this vast land and reject the Mogadishu based government. HSM , beware of what you wish.
  15. I missed this debate about Muuse Biixi doing what he does best : cry (Callacal), praise Reer Sool, and finally threaten with force. THis is nothing but a bunker mentality. The Somaliland militia can't subdue or control the vast land of the Garaad community without their consent. The distance between Taleex and Laascaanood in over 200 km, the distance between Laaska and Boohoodle almost 150 km. This is huge. A fragmented militia can't control the SSC people who want to be free. It is the typical boasting of those who are no longer in control. WE have seen before a separatist movement try to leave the mother country, but we haven't seen a unionist people being forced to leave by separatists. The IRA of the Irish tried close to a century, but eventually gave up. Somaliland itself is in danger of disintegrating. Compared to other regions of the country, the clan hatred and mistrust is deep in Somaliland. Let alone wage a war to oppress the free people SSC, they might not even survive the next election if Biixi runs again. The ugly speech Muuse made Monday was nothing but a bluff and desperation. He is dispatching people to Nairobi, Addis, Mogadishu and between to buy time and persuade others to intervene. HSM couldn't persuade the Garaads to come to MOgadishu and stop the SSC train, Omar Geele is now trying to involve IGAD, but both Kenya and Ethiopia refused to involve. I know for a fact that Oodeyne and company like Cawil and Warancade, the later who by the way used to test food for former intelligence boss Saleebaan daffle are sitting Muus Biix's kitchen these days. I can tell you that they both live in outdated era. Sometimes a war could be the great equalizer, and a war in Sool will bring unforeseen changes in Somaliland. After this war nothing will be the same. Reer Sool never agreed with the Somaliland project, never. If anyone tells you otherwise he is lying. In the 1999 referendum, after the formation of Puntland , Cigaal openly said, " don't take the ballot boxes to the Garaad community territory. Muuse can't fire one single bullet in Sool, let alone a war. Take that to the ba
  16. This is the man who supposed to lead the Guurti and find solutions to the communal problems. I think it is the end of an era. Muuse , Kaahin, SAleebaan Gaal. THat says something.
  17. Oromos are finally liberating themselves from Amhara. This was the last power Amhara had over Ethiopian Oromo.
  18. For Sool, it is now or never. All eyes and ears of the Somali people are tuned these days to Laascaanood. Everyone is waiting the up coining conference of the Graads, Suldaans, elders, politicians of different stripes, scholars, civil society and members the diaspora. These community are the pioneers of the modern Somali state and nationalism. They were the founders of the oldest independent movement in black Africa at the end of nineteen century. Just little over hundred years ago they were fighting the British colonial forces aided by Indians, Swahili and Somalis in these Plaines of Taleex and Lasanod. About two weeks ago, I was invited at Khaatumo event to make a brief speech about the uprising in Lasanod and the massacre's of innocent protesters. I emphasized just two points. One was that how insane it is for the grandchildren of the freedom fighters of Somalia to be fighting to remain free and Somali in 21st century which nothing but the reflection of the Somali state today, and the second point was that the introduction of unrepentant warlords at the helm of Somaliland administration. There is a anxiety and great expectations from this conference, yet no one can ignore who are the real players. When there is huge public uprising, the politicians are nothing more than a fish in a big ocean, yet due to money, greed and selfishness, disagreements among them could derail the outcome. Here, I am not talking about those the people of Laasanod call " Horgale" or paid stooges. Drunkards like Indho Indho or Saleebaan Koore don't have the prestige or the wisdom to resolve anything, they are there to entertain the man who hiding inside the Morgan house in Hargeisa. The real players are Ahmed Karaash, the deputy president of Puntland and the speaker of the Somaliland parliament Abdirahman Khaliif. There are tough decisions to be made and hard pills to swallow for the future of the community. THe Graads must breach the gabs between these two camps. THose from Puntland have great advantage in this contest. They could come from Garoowe accept the Khaatumo project and still reside in Garoowe among their kin without any thought of losing anything. They own 25% of Garoowe city, , but those from Hargeisa, it is the end of their titles and the whole project. The weakness of the Sool community to get behind one leader was apparent last time around when they chose three presidents instead of one. Ahmed Karash has 11 months left of his term within Puntland elections which due in January 2024, thus he could be persuaded to accept the project. For Hargeisa the the stakes are high. Don't make any hasty decisions. In 1991, in Burco while Abdirahman Tuur was waiting his delegation from Mogadishu, armed gun men led probably by Calan Cas put gun on everyone and forced to declare a secession that wasn't endorsed by the leadership. After 32 years that project hasn't gone anywhere. If I were an adviser to the Khaatumo Garaads ,here what I would have suggested: 1- Rather than declare full fledged " Maamul", it would be prudent to proclaim a temporary caretaker administration. 2- Assign for the Garaads to pick the future members of the Khaatumo parliament. 3-Pick and choose the date of the convention to elect the leader by the parliament. 4- make sure the care taker leader shouldn't be among those running to succeed him. 5-Negotiate with the Somaliland Maamul to withdraw 30km from Laascaanood immediately. Muuse Biixi must resign for Somaliland to remain viable for the future. There is probably zero chance to get out of these mess. THere are no elders he could send to resolve Laascaanood or any diplomatic means to talk to anyone. His two main people at the table are Mohamed Kahin and Cali Koore, two people hated by both the Sool community and the majority of Somaliland people. THey took $1.5 million dollars the first week of the uprising, but quickly realized that bribes and buying will not resolve this time around. He is in rock and hard place or as they say dump if you do or don't. Having already killed protesters in both Hargeisa and Buroa and in Laaacaanood , he can't repeat again that or he will face a war crime tribunal. After defeating the hapless opposition led by the weak man called Abdirahman Cirro, by suppressing the the Hargeisa demonstration by bullets and then extending his term with two more years without the blessing of the opposition, Muuse thought he could be another Cumar Geelle in these part of Somalia. So, what is the next move? THere is no honor among thieves . Rather build state and functioning institution, the SNM Habro politicians decided to loot and build clan hegemony. A small clan surrounding west of Hargeisa decided to ride Muuse Biixi and swallow more than they could chew, and forgot that in a clan inspired project, one must always try to maintain the fragile social contract and not tip the balance. The Khaatumo project will probably damage the Hargeisa project for good or even end it if new solutions are not found. My solution are tough for the eco chambers who always say " Way duushay" it is flying high. No one is willing to talk to Muuse Biixi at the moment, and most people in Somaliland even want him to fail yet, there are solutions. The great poet Gaariye said: Markuu Buuxay Doobigu Nin Danaystay Keligii Markuu Daatay Kula Dhimo Dhago Uma Daloolaan. First, Muuse must resign for the well being of the people. His deputy Abdirahman Zaylici should take over and prepare for inclusive elections within six months. The so called constitution should be amended by the parliament by abolishing the three party monopoly and allow everyone to run for president. Let the winner of this election forge a new beginning including peaceful separation of KHaatumo from Somaliland. Since the separatist's project will be dead in the water after the formation of Khaatumo, the new leader must create a totally different future without paranoia, hate of the blue flag and antagonism against their brethren in Somalia. We know that everything based or formed with emotions will not last after reality hits. THe Somaliland future doesn't need a man who is afraid of the old guard, you need someone who could lead and stand up to the losers who were thrown from the system in 1993. These " Calan Cas", as they were called in Hargeisa, forgot that the main reason Somalilans succeeded in peace was because we sidelined the warmongers and warlords in 1993 in Borama. Cigaal came and build the system, Faisal Waraabe, despite his loud mouth contributed to the peace. Furthermore, Rayaale, a humble and decent man came and ruled justly which attracted Reer Sool to leave Puntland and join the project in 2007. Ahmed Siilaanyo was an experienced elder, but stroke had stolen his capacity to rule yet he tried to incorporate his old friend, the late Ali Khallif. Without Ahmed Siilaanyo these misfits wouldn't had any chance. No one in Southern Somalia will accept today a former warlord who participated in clan wars to lead the land. The Fat man of Djibouti must stay out of this. OMar Geelle was flying under the radar from most Somalis, except those of us who know him. He is a very sensitive man who can't take even mild criticism from Southern Somalis. In Hargeisa, you could be arrested if you criticize him, and in the south he bribes most of the Somali news outlets including Hiiraan Online, Universal TV and others. Last week, he called Ahmed Madoobe, who is becoming a seasoned politician these days. Unconfirmed reports indicate that Geelle wants to keep together the coalition that defeated Farmaajo intact including C/laahi Deni. That doesn't mean Deni is being offered the top job, but Geelle knows, that hand shake summit in Djibouti, which brought the criminal Saddiq John, Biixi and Hassan Sheikh has left sour note among many Somalis who are unionists. When he was greeted in Mogadishu to open a fake academy, Deni snubbed him and remained in his hotel. Since Geelle is fearful being exposed he is working overtime to placate Puntland and others. While Somali leader don't care about their clans or others , they usually use them to reach the power. in politics, optics and perceptions could mean something. Some might even say that the Laascaanood uprising is a reaction of the Djibouti hand shake. The jury is still out what will Gelle offer to Puntland to bring them in the coalition. Don't be surprised that in order to save Muuse Biixi, he might push HSM to replace Hamza Bear with someone close to Deni. Also, remember, Deni isn't alone. Ilhan Omar and the democratic party is helping HSM to defeat Al-shbaab thanks mostly to the American support in the sky through drones. Hassan Turki, a former leader of Raaskaambooni once said that during the Ethiopian invasion of Soutern Somalia and the American air campaign, " we were unable to pee outside for four months because of drones in the sky", yet after few months Raaskaambooni guys were paying young men salary, food and logistics. Geelle controls Jigjiga politics indirectly, Biixi and HSM are his boys, and he have to find ways to bring Puntland to the circle. So, Sool could be the card . IT was the TPLF that instructed successive Puntland leaders to leave Sool under Somaliland and in return they were given some diplomatic and and political cover which allowed them to challenge the federal government in Mogadishu. Yesterday, police chief Hijaar was fired and was replaced by a former body guard of Bashiir Goobe. He is just another name given a fake title and a task he couldn't even understand let alone manage it. He was once accused and briefly arrested for being connected to Al-shbaab, but later it was confirmed that he he was an informer to foreign powers mostly Kenyan intelligence. He is also the maternal nephew of Ahmed madoobe which indicates that HSM is straightening the alliance with madoobe. President HSM, please stop the ugly dithering and take your side, He is speaking with both his mouth. HE invited the Sool Graads to Mogadishu which is big no, yet as a water carrier for Omar Geelle he pushed as far as he could. Now he is talking like Oday Xaad. " Dadka Somalinimo iyo midnimo doon ayaa naga dhexeeysa laakiin Garoowe, Hargeisa iyo Muqdishu midna laguma xali karo. All he needs to say is let the people of Laascaanood choose their destiny. full stop. The more he opens his mouth, the worst he looks. I heard that he dispatched $5 million dollars through local Sool charity, and two weeks ago a well placed member of the Sool member of the federal parliament told us that HSM, Sheikh Addan Madoobe and premier Hamza had both accepted Khaatumo in a meeting. If that is the case, HSM is in great pressure and maybe trying to thread in fine line.. THis will be an interesting year. Our friend Oodweyne and hardliners will stick to their guns no matter what and will sink with the ship.
  19. I totally agree. He doesn't even talk and as you said keeps his cards hidden.. Could be the next leader.
  20. He should have used better language since he is at least a real journalists unlike many others. Despite his vulgar language his report from Al-shbaab was accurate. Amiin Aamir never changed his reporting or cartoons since day one. In fact, he supported Farmaajo even before he became president. He new Farmaajo when they were young in Mogadishu 40 years ago, and unlike many Amin Amir always supports those who are weak, oppressed or wronged. Besides, Amin is one of the good guys, I know him personally.
  21. Actually, there is an audio from the Al-shbaab Amiir claiming that they can no longer hold western Hiiraan or central Somalia. He talks about the huge loss of the youth and he says , " surrender, regroup and procreate for the future children. He also mentioned that they sent peace envoys to negotiate with president HSM who rejected. According to this Amir, HSM said, " Al-shabaab Waa Qoloma, Diintan cusub xagey ka keeneen, waa maxay sobobta ay ugu kooban Yihiin from Galmudug to Qooqaani in Jubba. The Amir also mentioned that this is his decision and its up to the Shuura council to change. HSM is sending messages that the deployment of Al-shbaab to only south central Somalia is a political strategy used by both foreign powers and certain Somali regions including Puntland and Somaliland. So, it is time for a hardline Amir to wreck the fertile south. If Sheikh Aadan Sunnah becomes the leader of Al=shabaab, that is the second time a man from Hargeisa takes the helm. Furthermore, just like Ahmed Godane before him, he was released from the prison and sent to South Somali to create havoc. Sheikh Sunnah has called the Biixi regime to be apostate in his sermons, yet he goes to Jilib for his war. Also since everything revolves around tribe in Hargeisa ,the Sheikh sent his elders to asked Biixi to release him. After a lot of pressure from the clan Muuse obliged. Muuse : Waar ninkan hadaan siidaayo ma ammusayee, maxaynu Yeelaa? Ahmed Dhagax community: Adeer ninkan Ahmed Godane Ina adeerkii weeyee, xagaa iyo koonfur ayuu u socdaaye is dhaafi.. Muuse: Hello waar ma boqor Buurmadaw baa? Boqor Buurmadow: WAar Muuse waa anigee iska waran? Muuse: Waar aniga iyo adiga hadal inagama dheexeeyee, sobobta aan telephonka kaaga qabtay waxa weeye in aan talo kaa weydiiyo Sheikh Addan Sunah oo qoladii Arabku igu wareerisay. Buurmadow: Waar Ilaahay baan kugu dhaarshee intuu Jeelkaa ku jiri lahaa maalin walbana oday kuu imanayo, ninkan Aadan Sunnah miyaad madaxweyne aan weligii lala rartamin ka dhigtid. Musse: Adeer warka ii jilici. Buurmadow.: Ina adeerkii Ahmed Godane toban sano ku dhawaad ayuu Amiir ahaa, koonfur iyo Waqooyiba duraiyadaa ka talinaysay, kanina wadadii buu marayaa oo waa Amiirka Al-shbaab ee soo socda dhawr billod ka dib. Muuse: oo miyaanay Amiir lahayn xarakadu? Buurmadow: waa waa nin D...r ta koonfur ah oo aan iska dhicin karin HAG iyo D, hase ahaatee ninkani waa nin mayal adag, waxii ka horyimaadana ka takhalusaya sidii Ahmed Godane. Muuse: waar armuu hawdka Hargeisa inta uu tago xer beesha ah soo urursadaa? Buurmadow: waar aniga ku xilo furayee isaga iyo xaaska iyo caruurtaba koonfur u masaafuri. Muuse: Talada waan qaatay.
  22. It seems to be truce between the TPLF and the Abiy Ahmed regime, foe now. Yet, it seems Ethiopia is far from being stable or peaceful. In fact, it seems that this Abiy guy could only survive through war and chaos. As we speak , Abiy and certain Oromo politicians had decided to move the war from the north and to the Somali region. This is a typical Amhara and Shawa Oromo strategy to weaken the Somali region through war. They attacked from multiple fronts. From Mooyaale in Liibaan region, Diredhabe, Baabili and few miles from Jigjiga in Gursum. The Amhara security forces are shooting people in Jigjiga , at airports, banks and anywhere they encounter a Somali who raises their voice. THe facebook president is no where to be seen. The Liyu , who are an occupying force originally created to oppress Somalis, also shoot Somalis around the region just like the Amhara. The OG leadership had failed the Somali people time and again. It is high time for a new Somali leadership in this region before things get worse. People are demanding the abolition of the LIyu force in order for the people to defend themselves. Here is on of those voices.
  23. I don't blame Deni for taking stand, although the timing is really bad. HSM had a great opportunity to take sides on the Laascaanood issue, yet he spoke just like Suldaan Xaad from HAG council of elders. He lost an opportunity to be pro Somalia and the nationalist camp by just calling for calm like some minor tribal conflict in Hiiraan or Gedo. HSM had shown to be only concerned with his policy of building relationships with regional governments and the international community while ignoring issues of building trust among the people and building credible institutions. The major reason HSM and premier Hamza are being supported by the Somali people today is the war they have taken to Al-shbaab , especially in Hiiraan and Sh. Dhexe. If they succeed on this everything else will be forgiven. Also, president HSM had asked the Somali people for support in his campaign against Al-shabaab. The whole region of Puntland have one main minister (Foreign) who is invisible and no one the in the military, police or the security sector just like most of the people in the South west, North west or Lower Shabeelle. They saw how his policy and priority are managed by those of his clan, and finally, his stand on the Laascaanood issue had made him very weak president who can't take sides on national matter. I am not saying that C/laahi Deni cares more for Laascaanood than HSM, but he knows the feelings of the people on this issue. Also, as a politician who is on the ropes, this issue might resonate many people especially the Puntlanders who supported Farmaajo. Furthermore, while the people of Puntland are strong advocates of Somaalinimo, their leaders were always acted like a deferent entity that had its own policy in terms of military , intelligence and other issues. Hore waxaan u idhi, dalkan qolo waxay tidhi waan go'nay kuwa hadhayna ma joogaan. Jubaland is here in name only while controlled by Kenya, SL had been claiming Waan Go'nay for 30 years with nothing but poverty, Puntland waa Maqanaha Jooga, Mogadishu is a mess. May Allah help us.
  24. The so called Garaad C/qani , Oodweyne mentioned, left the country not because he was attached to rebels , but was disgruntled from personal issues with the Siyaad people. THen again joining SNM in the eighties wasn't about secession then. To make the story short he left Somaliland in the nineties after he clashed with Cigaal. When Late Ina Cigaal organized the referendum for Somaliland constitution, Reer Sool rejected and Cigaal agreed not to take any voting boxes to Garaad community territory. Cigaal never wanted to force anyone if they rejected especially the non Habro community. As Maakhiri mentioned, Garaad C/qani with Xaabsade joined colonel C/laahi Yusuf and became the founders of Puntland.
  25. My God, why he want to be a Bit..ch while he could be the boss of Laascaanood himself. Is this warlord more powerful than the people of Sool and Laascaanood? I don't think so. HE should have kept his mouth shut or asked a good speech writers to organize something to reflect the moment, especially people waving the blue flag and calling for union against the secessionists. WArlord Muuse didn't even even mince his words, and accused him of orchestrating the war. This shows being a leader and upholding the idea of sovereign nation or one measuring things through tribal lenses.
