Haddii aad Boosaaso keligaa yeelato ogoow Kismaayo mudul kuma lihid ee dadkii 1890 ka hor deganaa baa iska leh. Period...xitaa Xamar waxba ku yeelan meysid markaas waayo dad baad Xamarba ugu timid.....farms waa la gadan karaa South Africa waxa ka dhacay ma illowdey? Ma dadka cad cad baa lahaa? illeen iyaguba farms waa ku lahaayeene... See, now you are just defying history. Before that Kismayo was part of the Sultanate of Zanzibar. It didn't have a major clan population. The first ones came between the 1860s and the 1880s. Those are the same people who are duelling it out today. Your kind is no where in the picture which is why you seem to want to drag others down with you by denying basic history. As for Xamar, it is the federal capital. The fact that in aad ku faaniso what is known as moryaanimo is unbelievable to me but I can't say I am surprised.

  3. My mom's family came to Kismayo 1890 and owned farms between Kismayo and Jamaame. And then the city wasn't even build and it was the second major clan to come in the vicinity of Kismayo, so yes, it does mean that her clan owns part of the city, in fact the southern part which it still lives. The fact that you didn't pass Baraxley shouldn't keep others back from the land they own by right.
  4. Listen, if Abwaan wants to argue that because Puntland exists the claim in Kismayo has to be ceded, he's speaking in a different language. The population is Kismayo is still large concerning the people he says are from Hafun, in fact my mother is from there and still own properties.
  5. ^^ The claim over areas in Jubboyinka hoose is a historical fact. In fact, I can post maps here by the British and Italians, as well as historical notes to prove so. But I will post this image alone.

Somali universities do not matter, who in the world goes to Somalia for education? Haha waa cajiib.

So no, Gaalkacyo's education you won't compete with.
  8. Mukulaalow, what Xaaji is saying is, it's not fair, it's not fair that Puntland has its act together while the rest do not understand what's happening.

I see that but what it boils down to is what is in ones interest, is it federalism or is it a centralised state which is essentially what you said, a decentralised state is still centralised, it just gives more powers to sub national levels. I don't see that in the interest of anyone cause we've been in a centralised system before, and in the 20 years of civil war, federalism has shown to be the model for change, especially when you look at Puntland state. It is a stable formula.
  10. Xaaji Xunjuf;824182 wrote: That's why clan federalism will never work some clans can unite and work together and some can't so we need to keep the former regions in a form of decentralized structure of Government. It's not the fault of progressive ones that others can't unite when they are the same clan. Therefore federalism will be pushed ahead so they will learn to enter the 21st century.

  13. Yes but you nee context, it needs to be explained to the public before it is ratified. Anyway, it is going ahead as usual, I have a big smile going out everyday.
  14. He said that it needs to be explained to the public. So disingenuous as usual..

  16. Why would he accuse when it is true? Yes, Puntland will expand in right time and that's their motive through clan means. Wow, what an accusation, I feel hurt by the truth.

I was just about to write that.
  18. There was also one regarding a deal to widen the reach of the Jubba river for surface irrigation, as well as many others including army deals. Anyway, I'll post some later.

Then you have also the various factories and power-plants scattered across the country, that's another billion.(regardless if some of them are working or not, we can use the steel). Then you have the port-infrastructure, be it the deepsea ones or the minor ones, they were all developed by the Somali Port Authority. I have a very detailed book regarding deals made during the Siad Barre era, it said that the Chinese-built road connecting Beledweyne to Burco going through Puntland cost $75.000.000 adjusted to inflation that's $387,486,486.49, it is around almost a 1000 km long.
  20. If those were the winners it wasn't an open contest. However, the last picture, wow, what's her name?
