The S/land govnt have been doing this from day one, money has been poured into Hargaisa and Berbera whilst everywhere else receives nothing! and thats within Somaliland, so the above conducted research/transfer of money to Garowe is welcomed by a Somalilander such as myself with the hope of it being a learning curve/lesson for this corrupted govnt. But with a name like Maxwell Gaylord, one can only be wary of the preciseness of your information It also poses the questions, can we eradicate/control/manage/minimalise corruption in the 3rd world? Somalia is in debt to the tune of £$X amount of millions if not billions. Now i'm not an expert in international law, but is there a case for a worn torn country trying to re-build and re-stabalise to be exempt from paying back such amounts on the basis of,,,,,,, Money borrowed (pre civil war)should be paid back by those who did the borrowing, money was not used for its intended purpose(s) therefore why payback money that did not benefit the ppl but actually contributed to their suffering (military buying arms etc). i think there is a case there, any internationl law/monetary law/UN/world bank experts here? or do we need to borrow money to hire one?

^^it may be true, Liverpool and Celtic are the same club ie Irish/Catholic connection and sing the same song with the scarves held high at the end of each match win or lose. If you support Liverpool in England then its only normal to support Celtic in Scotland. The main story behind it is the influx of the Irish to Liverpool and Glasgow, that connection has faded a little but its there

as for Riyaale dont worry he and UDUB will feel the boot when we feel its time It is time!

Makax Taabte: I never seen such horrible defensive like that in a while The English teams go out and 'get it' when they are at home (in the knock out rounds)but play a more tactical game away from home. ooh last night, the memory is still there, Liverpool will never walk alone lol, Liverpool walked alone in Europe during the 70s/80s with no other english teams (apart from Forest in 79?) doing what they did. Ie liverpool supporters traveling into Europe (during the hooligan era) with no fear of any team (or their supporters) placed in front of them and won 4 Europoean Cups and 2 Eufa Cups (also in 2001) along the way. The liverpool fans brought the culture of the 'tracksuit' to the UK by ransacking designer Lacoste stores on their travels, hence why alot of ppl from Liverpool like to wear sports gear casually. Therefore, the term you'll never walk alone is a song borrowed/taken (caall it waht you like) from (forgot his name) aimed at other team/supporter basically telling them that they will never achieve what Liverpool achieved during those days. Along time ago now but the song is still true. walk on, walk on, with hope in hearts, but you'll never walk alone.

What a night, great performance and great atmosphere (a European night at Anfield is like no other in english football). Sloppy goal to conceed but its was coming. 2-1 is a good result, we will finish them off in Turin. Without Cisse, Morientes, Alonso, Kewell, Pongolle and Mellor we defeated the Mighty Juventus after much cr*p being taken from those hoping for Liverpool to get trounsed due to their own 'better' teams being knocked out earlier. What would we do with a full squad??? walk on

^^^lol, no Henchoz tonight, but we do have Carragher zlatan will be a huge threat, but hopefully we can counter that, Juve have quality all over the pitch, i'm hoping for a quality game, if we keep a clean sheet it will be very good for us, but i have a sneaky feeling about this game, Liverpool will produce some quality stuff tonight, just hopes its enough to take an advantage to the Dellialpi.

Most Westerners that face the death penalty in Saudi Arabia are backed by powerful governments that fight their corner and secure their release. These same governments are the ones helping and abetting the Saudi regime in keeping power. The rest of the people of the world (including Saudis, of which many have faced a similar end) don’t have anyone to speak for them and rescue them from the executioner’s sword. Who said life was fair? Good point. We need to understand that there things in this world that you have no influence on, so please stop all the cr*p and just think of others who are less fortunate than ourselves living around the world suffering on a daily basis from all sorts of scenarios and think outside of your safe little rooms with your safe little high speed broadband connections and come off that moral high ground we have all of a sudden climbed upon. Pray for the deceased and move on. Full Stop.

Head-to-head Liverpool and Juventus have played each other three times before in a European Cup competition. Their first match-up was in 1965/1966 when Liverpool eliminated Juventus (2-1 on agg.) in the first round of the Cup winners' Cup. Their last meeting was the Champions Cup final on 29 May 1985 in the Heysel Stadium of Brussels. The evening ended in a nightmare as 39 Italians and one Belgian supporter were killed following riots in the stands. Juventus won that match 1-0 on a Michel Platini penalty. Liverpool have played Italian clubs twelve times in a European Cup tie and have lost six (winning four, drawing two and losing six). The reds have played five home matches against clubs from Italy and lost twice (winning the other three). Their most recent loss against Italians came at Anfield, when they went down against AS Roma (1-0) on 22 February 2001. Liverpool won their last meeting with Italians when they beat AS Roma 2-0 at home on 19 March 2002 in a Champions League second group phase match. Juventus have played 31 matches against English clubs in a European Cup tie, winning 13 and losing 11, with seven draws. In away matches, Juve have won only two of their 15 matches against English clubs, drawing five and losing eight. Their most recent away win came on 20 November 1996 when Juve beat Manchester United at Old Trafford 1-0 in a CL group stage match.

^^well i hope your WRONG saxib, Liverpool vs Juventus will not be as straightforward for the Italians as most ppl would think. Nevertheless, Liverpool have a crippling injury list, imagine if we had our players (Kewell, Cisse, Alonso, Meller, Pongolle and Morientes - cup tied) available, but we have made it to the QFs . Even Pavel Nedved is wary of the reds. VLADIMIR SMICER last night insisted Juventus will arrive on Merseyside feeling less than confident of progressing to the Champions League semi-finals. The Czech Republic winger is a good friend of international team-mate Pavel Nedved, the star of the Italian side that are favourites to win the competition. But Smicer believes Liverpool delivered a psychological blow with important performances on the eve of the quarter-final first leg. He and Nedved talk regularly on the phone, and Smicer revealed the growing doubts at Juventus. "I'm close with Pavel," said Smicer. "We're similar ages, came through together and played together for a long time for the national side. "After we played Everton and beat them so well, he rang to say, 'Oh my God, we're all hoping you won't play like that against us'. "He has great respect for Liverpool, and he told me he thinks it will be a hard game. I told him the same." http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/sporttop/tm_objectid=15367045%26method=full%26siteid=50143%26headline=nervy%2dnedved-name_page.html Xabi Alonso will provide Liverpool with a massive boost tonight when he takes his place on the substitute's bench for the Champions League clash with Juventus. Alonso isn't fit enough to start the game after overcoming a fractured ankle, but boss Rafael Benitez has confirmed his Spanish midfielder will be in the squad. Irresepective of whether he joins the action at some stage tonight or not, Alonso will play for the reserves against Leeds tomorrow. Benitez said: "Xabi is in the squad. He will not be in the starting eleven but he will be in the squad because he is an important player and he is now training with the team. "He is not 100 per cent fit and the idea is not to use him against Juventus because we hope to be playing well and winning. But if we are not and we need something different at the end of the game, then we may think about using him."  This is a huge game and i've never looked forward to a game like this between my two Fave teams, the mothers of English and Italian football respectively,it will be closer than most ppl think but they underestimate Liverpool, just watch and enjoy the contest. walk on New York Times http://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/05/sports/soccer/05juventus.html?ex=1113364800&en=4987d2447c999d5e&ei=5040&partner=MOREOVERNEWS

This was supposed to be a classy wedding; the rice and meat will only lower the tone! Funny thing is, even with a choice of food many ppl still opt for the good old bariis iyo hilib A group of men, dressed in identical and ill-fitting suits arrive carrying more cables, a guitar and a tiny speaker. They place themselves in the corner and start testing the musical equipment. This wedding is in full swing. Among the chatter of the people, the laughs of the girls and the posturing of the boys, a man is heard shouting into the microphone the words “testing, testing, 123â€. dont you mean kow, laba, kow, laba They’ve just been informed that the groom’s family has arrived! One rushes over to welcome them and guide them to their table, they ignore her and sit on another table instead. The band starts playing, a balding man with a tight suit and retro glasses glides into the dance floor The guy has been looking forward to finally producing the goods he has always talked/dreamt of while in the merfish. He invites one of the members of the band to bless this wedding by reading a few verses from the holy book. The band member reads the shortest verse he could think of. Very short verse Suddenly, a drum is heard! Boom, boom, boom – boom! Kew the rush for the best view upon chairs and tables and the old ladies shouting naa ina hebel bahalka u-dhiib, yadha qaraneyse! The baby in the tuxedo stares at all the shaking backsides and heaving bosoms in utter fascination and absolute amazement. loooooool, i think a little reminiscing here by Ngonge? a traffic jam materialises out of thin air Never park near the entrance (even if you have a nice car) you will a slight dint/scratch the following day and think who the *&^% did that? Oh I know, islaanti igu xigtey  The boys start circling the crowd and searching for sweet looking single girls in need of a lift home, they get caught by irate old ladies and end up driving them home instead. looool No Comment! Two hours later, the streets are empty and the bride’s brother is seen loading empty pots, balloons and various other materials into the boot of his car, the pretty girl is sitting in the passenger seat (could there be another wedding on the horizon?). aah, great ending! A masterpiece! Nice way to end a hectic week!

Northernor maybe you should be here more often, cuz Horn meesha ha soo dhexgalin! Do i sense a change of tact? Maybe a u-turn on the current govnt's position (or non-position of) bringing peace and pstability to Somalia? Duke, do you ever want to go back home? at the current rate you will never set foot there again, well yes but looking over your shoulder all the time is not my idea of a peaceful country run by a peaceful govnt. A dose of realism doesnt hurt sometimes. its that time of year when norf is political, well for a while at least

aha, ppl are finally realising that warlordism only breeds war and NOT peace, what a refreshing change  Duke and Horn, are you two still supporting this govnt/warlords? the war started in 1988 the war started in 1978 Does it matter? War is War, hard times for all involved, full stop. A country that continuelly talks of war/fighting shall never prosper
