  1. What keeps me here is mainly the sports section and those who reside there not really caring for much else
  2. 187, somalia play a qualifier (over 2 legs) to qualify for the qualifiers  . We lost out to Uganda who are now the minnows in group B. A strong Somalia with a mix of European based players and home players would qualify for the world cup, i have no doubt about that! we just the organisation and the finances to be in place.
  3. all i know is that its a dell and has a pentium 3
  4. Bieng a little negative here but since when did one believe what a politician/political group says? $64m = approx £100m, how will this money be received? When? by whom? in installments? how will it be spent? who will do the spending? will the money reach where its needed? or will it go to govnt minister's newly created swiss bank accounts? when will repayments of this money begin? at what rate? at the expense of what services?  or are we going to jump for joy at an arab's promise who is more concerned with whooing the west to invest in his country because he 'helps good causes' ie Somalia which will look good on his countries CV when pressing big business/investment groups for finances. There is never a free lunch, so why expect something? I'm a better politician than all of you put together (apart from Juma - lpool link ) peace

Rocko is our crazy coach who arrives at halft after late nights in places we should not talk about but takes all the plaudits when we win but if you haven't worked out for years-forget about it as somalis say: xidmihii iyo qabsinaadi baa isku dhageene Nothing better than a good old Somali belly constructed of years of bariis, baasto, hilib iyo shah, its all the rage these days  sneaks off for tea and biscuits

sounds like a good week of action,,,, We shall be bringing a team of SOL footballers, the usual suspects shall be there Norf, Shujui, Shaqsi, 187, Soma Inc, Winger, Ngonge (goal keeper) and a few more. So look out Minnie we are not taking any prisoners, pure english football to come, be ready, no sissies need apply, as soon we find some funding
  8. great friday night entertainment after a long week lol, shameful yes but quality stuff still,LOOOOOOOL qub iyo qac
  9. ^^looks like we a summer SOL pro-evo tournament to arrange, i think we can find a decent venue with decent food then down to the serious stuff of eliminating all competitors
  10. Bayern to be Chelsea (experience shall prevail) Juve to Edge it vs Liverpool Milan vs Inter to be very interesting, i have a sneaky feeling for Inter PSV/Lyon is a tight one, Lyon to edge it.
  11. ^^^lets agree to disagree Todays draws: Liverpool vs Juve Milan vs Inter Lyon vs PSV Chelski vs B Munich Its an all win situation for me, my fave teams have been paired against each other ( I wish we got PSV) and I hope Liverpool can get the luck when they need it. But with players like Cisse, Kewell, Alonso, Pongolle all out with injuries and Nando (Fernando Morientes) cup tied, its difficult to see how we can beat the mother or Italian football. Milan vs Inter will be a very tight game but I would expect the red side of milan to go through, lyon to beat psv. Chelsea vs B Munich is a classical tactical game for us to see.
  12. You are actually considering going to a St Patricks day event in a the UAE and i'm here avoiding to go to my Irish Company's extravagent do in central london
  13. Wale waa nin waalan
  14. ^^its just nice to have warm weather again, everybody is so cheerful
  15. As the birds sing on my walk down to the station with the smell of CK Summer getting me a compliment and a smile from the old turkish lady at the local shop when buying my morning 'read'(The Independent ) i realise that i'd nearly forgotten that spring/summer ever existed. After a cold, dark and lengthy winter, it is a nice warm day today across the UK and wearing a pink shirt and tie doesnt hurt With the easter break readily approaching (not implying that i celebrate it) the time will change next sunday 27th March giving more daylight. I will not need to rush home in time for maqrib anymore, i can actually do things after work as it still will be light. the sun is shining, the weather is sweeeeet again, makes you wanna move hmmmm hmmmm hmmm
  16. Do you think forwards like Vialli and Ravanelli played better (or more entertaining) football than Weah? No But the Juve team back then played a better and more entertaining style of football than Milan did.
  17. I was refering to Seria A Weah was a great player, but the team he played for/with were very boring hence why Weah was noticed and was the 'only' attraction of watching Milan in those days. A good player can play well in a boring team thats designed to play on the counter. If i kick a ball around with a few englisg guys in the park i too would also be the 'best' player, if you get what i mean. brb
  18. Viking: No not 96-2000, 93-2000 when the dutch trio left it was a boring game to watch saxib, and yes Rui Costa is overated along with Lius Figo. Anyhow, i think we are in for another good game with Inter vs Porto!
  19. sorry to be abit predictable but the answers to the question is,,, because xaasidnimadhu deega somalida ayey kujirtaa

  21. A Man Utd vs Arsenal Final will at least be worth watching, i havent seen the cup final for a few years and thats very uncharacteristic since i have been watching the final since 1987  . The last final i saw was in 2001  . Bring it on,,,,,,,
  22. http://www.barclaysfootball.co.uk/game.htm when you sat at work bored try this for entertainment!
  23. Viking: You are the only person who I have heard say the opposite of what usually is the reality; any Serie A fan will tell you that Juve are boring and Milan represent flare. I wonder what Cassano/Totti our resident Serie A expert thinks of this... Dinho: From about 93-2000 milan were a total bore to watch I was talking about the 90s saxib, not now! Infact Milan are 'the' team this year and i never said to the contrary. I was mearly refering to the dull sunday afternoons i spent watching Milan during the 90s as opposed to watching Juve in the same period, hence why it would be interesting to see some stats regarding head to heads in the 90s. A very talented squad even though i think Rui Costa has always been over-rated  . the rest of the squad is pure class. Lets hope for Juve - Milan Semi!
  24. I wasnt really refering to CL final but to general good football. From about 93-2000 milan were a total bore to watch, i dont care if they players like weah, boban, savicevic, papin etc (great players no doubt) but they were winning titles with the most boring of styles. Roberto Baggio was more of a Juve player, i know u wish he was Milan throu and through but come on saxib, dont claim such a great player. Zidane, Davids, Zambrotta, Torriceli, Pessotto, Vialia, Raveneli, Del Piero (very unlucky with injuries) are all great Juve players who regularly beat Milan throughout the 90s even though Milan were usually wining the Scudetto. It would be interesting to see the Milan vs Juve games throughout the 90s to see just who was the better team in that decade. I hope Milan get Juve in the semis, Juve shall be looking for reveng. I must admit i have been dissapointed with Juve for the past 2 years. I hope coppello get rid of some and get some quality there.
