  1. Poultry has great potential in Somalia due to the unsustainabilty of other meat sources. For now it is ok to import baby chicks from Kenya, but we need to establish our own breeding program for birds that can thrive in own local environs. Also, there is gonna be a huge potential for stock feed producers, for not only chicken but also other livestock. This could potential provide employment for many families, so we should encourage this industry throughout the country.
  2. Ngonge, Faroole juq ma dhihi doono: Nicholas Kay is now our duly appointed overseer and all the local politicians, from Silanyo to Faroole to Culosow to Ahmed Islam and everyone else, will ALL sing to the tune this man sets. Like or not, the real overlords have personally taken charge of the day to day governance of Somalia, and more power to them for Somalis have proven to the whole world that they cannot rule themselves.
  3. On behalf of ALL Somalis, welcome Mudane Nick Kay.

If Suarez stays--, which I doubt, because he is clamoring for Real Madrid-- plus Aspas, then I believe you guys will have a potent attack duo with Gerrard and Coutinho feeding the some good passes. Couple that with Sturridge and Borini on the bench-- just in case of an injury or the odd suspension due to Suarez and Iago who aint a saint either-- you guys might just have a good season!

Tallaabo;961140 wrote: The difference between Somalilanders and your lot is that we believe in securing our borders in a non-violent and diplomatic way and you guys have a feudal mentality of going in with the sword to take everything by force and subjugate everyone. Xiin is one of those with an extreme form of this disturbing backward mentality. Tell me guys just one time Somaliland invaded and took control of a territory with inhabitants hostile to its ideology by force? Never happened. I should've clarified, the Maandeeq I was referring to is our very own dear somaliland. Let me reiterate; this sort of nonsense is unacceptable. We should never allow this upstart 'vassal state' by the name of Khaatumo State of Somalia to dictate the terms of the delineation of our borders. You think the world will take us serious or even consider recognizing us independent? This travesty should never be allowed to happen again!
  7. This is unacceptable: We defenders of Maandeeq shall never rest until we have secured 'the borders'.
  8. ^ Do you know what the fate of the Cannibal is with L'Pool? If Wenger is serious, he should get that man-eater off your hands:D

Ngonge, sxb, you just don't get blinded by the Silverware at the end of next season that these plastics will rack up for Chelsea:D As for Arsene Wenger, even though he has all the money in the world, he will never spend it to get quality players. Odeyga bakhiil weeye!

It is highly implausible for Mourinho NOT to use Juan Mata who, in my opinion, is the most priced possession of the current squad. I think it would be madness to let Mata go, even though it is said the main cause for these rumors is that Mata wants higher wages. Now, if that is the case, then it won't be a problem for a man with deep pockets like Abramovich. But then again, it all depends on what Mourinho has up his sleeves... As an aside, do you think Mourinho can get Fernando Torres to perform as well as-- if not better-- than the departed Benitez did? I just hope he can, because Torres is capable of being a great striker again.
  11. I firmly believe next season's premiership title will be Chelsae's to loose, which will make it one of the most exciting seasons in the Premier League in a long time. Oscar, Mata, Hazard and maybe if we sign a better striker over the summer--there is no stopping the Chelsea juggernaut! what do you guys think?
  12. This a fad because the business model for health clubs in Somalia, I believe, is not sustainable. It's well and good to cater to ex-diaspora individuals who out of vanity or genuine health concern go to gyms to workout to showoff to locals. For a business to thrive and grow well into the future, you need a growing base of customers and I doubt Somalis possess the wherewithal and obesity epidemic to sustain such a business in the near future.
  13. Ha ha ha...this was a very funny thread. Somalia, you cracked me up bro:D
  14. Wow...and of all portals hadhwanaag was the more reasonable of the Somaliland based tabloids. It's a pity...
  15. Uhuru must be in his best behavior...lest our dear president after the state visit returns to Mogadishu and says," The Kenyan president and first lady misbehaved, but besides that everything else went smoothly."

  17. Culosow's biggest shortcoming, in my opinion, is that he is unable to surround himself with capable and educated people as advisers who hail from all works of life and backgrounds. What did you guys expect when he surround himself with a just single group of people who all think alike and have one priority--and that is to protect the myopic interests of hag clan in Somalia. Culosow needs to remember that he is the president of all Somalis and distance himself from anything resembling favoritism.

  19. ANTONIO. by Miguel de Cervantes Yes, lovely nymph, thou art my prize; I boast the conquest of thy heart, Though nor thy tongue, nor speaking eyes, Have yet revealed the latent smart. Thy wit and sense assure my fate, In them my love's success I see; Nor can he be unfortunate, Who dares avow his flame for thee. Yet sometimes hast thou frown'd, alas! And given my hopes a cruel shock; Then did thy soul seem form'd of brass, Thy snowy bosom of the rock. But in the midst of thy disdain, Thy sharp reproaches, cold delays, Hope from behind, to ease my pain, The border of her robe displays. Ah! lovely maid! in equal scale Weigh well thy shepherd's truth and love, Which ne'er, but with his breath, can fail, Which neither frowns nor smiles can move. If love, as shepherds wont to say, Be gentleness and courtesy, So courteous is Olalia, My passion will rewarded be. And if obsequious duty paid The grateful heart can never move, Mine sure, my fair, may well persuade A due return, and claim thy love. For, to seem pleasing in thy sight, I dress myself with studious care, And, in my best apparel dight, My Sunday clothes on Monday wear. And shepherds say, I'm not to blame; For cleanly dress and spruce attire Preserve alive love's wanton flame, And gently fan the dying fire. To please my fair, in mazy ring I join the dance, and sportive play, And oft beneath thy window sing, When first the cock proclaims the day. With rapture on each charm I dwell, And daily spread thy beauty's fame; And still my tongue thy praise shall tell, Though envy swell, or malice blame. Teresa of the Berrocal, When once I prais'd you, said in spite; Your mistress you an angel call, But a mere ape is your delight: Thanks to the bugle's artful glare, And all the graces counterfeit: Thanks to the false and curled hair, Which wary love himself might cheat. I swore 'twas false; and said she lied; At that her anger fiercely rose: I box'd the clown that took her side, And how I box'd my fairest knows. I court thee not, Olalia, To gratify a loose desire; My love is chaste without alloy Of wanton wish, or lustful fire. The church hath silken cords that tie Consenting hearts in mutual bands: If thou, my fair, its yoke will try, Thy swain its ready captive stands. If not, by all the saints I swear, On these bleak mountains still to dwell, Nor ever quit my toilsome care, But for the cloister and the cell.
  20. Ha ha ha...did you guys actually listen to the interview? I urge you all to check it out and see how butt hurt he sounds when he refers to the late great legend:D
  21. ^ Hubka aad ka hadlaysid muxuu yahay? Nobody is gonna fight anytime soon, which is the beauty of this political brinkmanship over Jubaland, and that's because of the foreign forces present in Somalia. Unlike the past when Somalis used the gun to try to solve their differences, it is a whole new ball game with the presence of these neocolonialist armies. If there is going to be any true victor over this Kismayu issue, it will be through political maneuvering only and who at the end of the day can galvanize a large portion of Somalis to their side. As it stands, Culosow will loose because he refuses to utilize the most powerful weapon he possesses which gives him legitimacy in the eyes of all Somalis, and that's the constitution. President Hassan Shiekh Mahamud: Please abide by the constitution and watch all your opponents wither away!

  23. Xiin, Kaas warkiisa naga daa...ciil buu kudashay, ciil buuna ku dhiman. It is a shame that Faroole had no choice but to take his case to the power brokers of Somalia. I believe this would not have been necessary had Culosow respected the Federal Constitution.
  24. ^ Thanks sxb. My main ambition however is to write in af soomaali, and I don't think I know enough to publish anything just yet..
  25. Subxaanalah! This is very tragic story. I hope that babe gets raised in an environment where he will never know what his mom has done.
