  1. The French troops are brutal and for the most part made of white racist and supremacists who abuse and cause indiscriminate maximum damage to all, including innocents, anytime they carryout operations in the Muslim or black world.
  2. Good work by the Admin there, keep improving the city and get busy with matters that matter rather than petty clan rivalry or politics.

Obviously you missed the point the initiator of the topic was making or if you did not then you must be suggesting that all those other cities should have equal status as capitals of Somalia. I think his point was how can you tell a Somali person that your capital is 'X' city but sorry you can't run for office there as you are not from the right clan.
  4. I agree with Nuune, stop corrupting the innocent girl and let her be - gabdhaha yaan lagu cayaarin.
  5. Rape is hideous crime and cruel act but I don't think its common or prevalent within the Somali society. Only if you classify taking young brides and marrying as many as four wives as rape, even with that you cannot boost the number of rape cases in Somalia.
  6. Obviously Kismayo is bigger. Marka is small city warya, only comes next After many cities in Somalia such as Baydhabo, Galkayo, Beledwayne and many more, I think even Burco is bigger than Marka but its a beautiful city on the coast of the Indian Ocean.
  7. ^In what sense? Kismayo is peaceful and there is no instability at all, what destabilization is he talking about? This particular elder does not sound Nabadoon but rather Dagaaldoon/Dagaalooge.
  8. I think the while male population in America are going through hard time and facing challenges, domination, from the rise of Hispanics, blacks and female. So its like American white male middle crises, anything they do is to be expected and pardoned, they will get over it. In light of these factors, I agree with CNN, they should make excuses for the shooters.

'NO THANKS' Spot on! I too listened to the clip and half way through got bored, nothing original, it was just the usual talk but thanks Stoic for sharing with us.
  10. This is good news, at least the fabrications of central Somalia is to end.
  11. All of them are little AFrican towns oo xafadu isku raran kasameesan, lets not talk silly, neither place is Milton Keynes.
  12. I can't seem to get the joke here, I'm too old or young for the peepz here? And the text which I believe is written in Somali is incompletely incomprehensible.
  13. Alright, don't be bitter my SL comrades, congratulations for the recognition you have deservedly received from the Guardian newspaper.
  14. Barack Obama is an intelligent and very shrewd politician. He has changed the world, and they way in which political figures handle themselves in public. He will be a political icon that will be written, talked and documented about now but much more after his retirement from office and politics.
  15. I haven't had the opportunity to see this man's speeches but so far from the little I have seen both in English and Somali, he comes across as not being too bright, may be I'm biased but he's another typical Somali professor. Ninku macaqli badna, I sense.
  16. The President has four years to prove his worth, lets not judge him only on the first 100 days but evaluate his overall performance after the end of his term. Although I may agree with most of you that it hasn't been a good start for him thus far as his government has done nothing tangible.
  17. IGAD is overstepping their jurisdiction and want to control Somalia. However if scrutinize our Somalia situation and fairly look at it from a rational angel, you realise that a country with no army, no aspirations to nationhood and militias with no loyalty that which the UN or international community pays thousands of dollars to be trained outside and fully equipped only to flip sides sell the equipment and join the other side upon arrival could not be trusted with military hardware, they can join Alshabaab or turn back to be their clan warriors or become a criminal enterprise with Isbaaros. The problem is as much about us as IGAD. SOMALIA SOMALI AYAA BAABISAY IYADEENA KADAGI WAYDAY, DON'T BLAME THE OUTSIDERS.
  18. i probed him for what caused these issues but he was supportive of the riots and the looters. i bought him khat after discovering his tribal details. Tell me you were scared that he was going to shoot you amid all the chaos of the rioting and bribed him with khat, its hard to believe that fish and chip boy from London would buy someone something for having any tribal relations
  19. ^Its not the fault of the PM but the President and his entourage, he chose the slow moving quite guy for a purpose, he could have brought back Farmaajo or Abdiwali who excited the government and its structure in short time.
  20. Inaction, inaction, inaction What has been accomplished in the last 100 years? Nothing but not only him also the PM has done nothing, he has become the shadow of the President as was predicted.
  21. Repents????????? Do you mean laments about his loss. Every loser must find an excuse to justify his loss, and this is another case of 'a poor workman blames his tools'.
  22. Although I didn't like his braving out act about this foolish pride, the problem is endemic so let's spare this individual,
  23. ^And who is he? Unuka????????? joke waryaa What do you mean by Somali clans, is he non-Somali?
  24. I agree with Jacphar, this is barbaric and baboonish act. No way, shape or form can one justify the killing of one person by A Somali individual for the indiscriminate generalization looting and terror against children and women of Somali decent. For those who argue that Somalis are unjust and cruel to their workers, perhaps but when it is compared to other communities I completely disagree with you and quite contrary to that, the Somali suffering (waxay galabsadeenba waaye) for being to generous, kind and open to their employees. I have been to Africa and saw these things first hand, whereas a Chinese, Indian or even other Zambian businessmen would pay $50 sum to a maid for a whole month of work the Somali businessman pays her minimum $150/200. Somalis pay much higher rate, not only monetary wise but also human wise Somalis are far more open and welcoming to their workers, they allow them to be part of their family, hand in the keys and let them drive their cars to take to the garage or for a washing, let them sleep in the back room of the businessman's bed after a hard day of work while the Indian will never allow them to touch the car let alone sit on it or drive, and will tell him to sleep outside on the sun in front of the business shop, if the African sod finds a shade will be lucky enough. Somalis may be rough on each other but reality is in Africa, they are hardworking, productive, making strides to strike high and are in competition with the Chinese and Indians. At least that is behavior we must commend and appreciate given the work ethic we have accustomed to in the west and the majority of Somalis that out of work in the west. A man must be respected and valued in society when he's working hard, employing others, creating opportunities for himself and contributes to the wider economy and welfare of that community and the indigenous African it seems cant't stand that. Surely we can talk about Somalis and blame them on many things but not doing business in Africa. One must be creative and go to suburbs, towns and even slams to seek opportunities and make the most of them. Africa is an open field where people from all corners of the world come to compete and grab its resources and human capital to strike high and an African Somali should have every right if not more right to be part of that but sadly they have been a tiny part of it yet faced indiscriminate and useless xenophobic attacks. THAT HAS GOT TO STOP!. END OF STORY, the Zambian government need to take action, proper action and compensate the Somali businesses. Also it can try the killer in a court of law and if found guilty sentence him to death if the laws of the country permits.
  25. XX, Don't you get tired of this nonsense justifications, everyone can see from afar what you are and where you stand, your hypocrisy is oozing miles away, just stop whining and be a man, at least be straight the more you try to sound honest and make excuses the more you expose your hypocrisy.
