  2. ^Stop jumping the gun waryaa, anigaa ninkaa ujawaabayee si simple ah walibana. Che, nothing and what is the connection between the two. Are you suggesting that the Kenyan government and army are as good and innocent as the Somali traders in Eastlieght. Gacastada Eastliegh-na ma khaldana, Dowlada Kenya iyo ciidankeedana ma khaldana ee waxaa khaldan Alshabaab and the vigilantes.
  3. Another lame excuse to discredit the Kenyan forces' fight against Alshabab, so what has the Kenyan government or police got to do with a group of vigilantes and violent demonstrators.
  4. Waryaa Ooba, I have been to Mogadishu recently so ask me. They have occupied those areas after the civil war but now its settled pretty by everyone. People from all corners of Somalia, from Bay iyo Bakool, from Gedo, from Bosaso, Galkacyo, Marko, Kismayo what have you live and work in all those areas including Suuqa Bakaaraha. They don't even make up the majority compared to those people as a one block separate from all the rest.
  5. LOool@Oba, I take that reerka have been giving birth like there no tomorrow or perhaps have been naturilising people Sxb, naga daa dee, only in the north oo xataa only parts and suburbs in the north aa joogtiin Xiin you are right.
  6. ^LOol, Mogadishu Oba cidna kama xigo, waa loowada simanyahay. In fact there are twice or three times more other Somalis living in Mogadishu today as we speak than Oba's sub Unuka, in the past and pre-civil war-kana iskaba daa. Ee nimanku they are forcing it, wax jac iska dhaha ayay waayeen
  7. This is great news, well done to Puntland forces. This opportunity should be used to highlight the plight of damping waste in the Somali sea waters. The world over used and over publicized the issues and the problems of the pirates, this should be an opportunity to present iss. ues to toxic damping and made programs about.
  8. For once I agree with the good professor, clearly there is no military solution to the problem of Laacanood. The city and the people of reer SSC should decide to join either Puntland, Somaliland or Khaatumo. It needs political solution.
  9. I think this centralism vs fedaralism debate is getting our of its proportions at the level of Somali politiking, they are all getting weard concepts and have been over debating it when both are one and the same and in fact more similarities than differences, all is coming to a workable system for the society whatever you may call it. On a low simple example, look at how organisation are built or private companies are structured and on a higher level through history look at how successful empires were structured, for instance the Islamic states were the most centralised yet federal administration systems. If you look at the British and Spanish empires you realise, a completely diverse and independent bastations with its resources and leaders yet all reported to and were under the command of one King or Queen.
  10. Waryaada, there is a first line, second and a third defense line, only then can Moogo and his fadhi kudirir buddies sit of their session. He keeps his machete just to impress the fadhi kudirir buddies, he knows if the first line is overrun he will do a runner ileen fuleey wax ka ulo badan malahan aa ladhahay.
  11. ^I welcome you comment, and as the spokesperson of Jubbooyinka I welcome any and all the progress Mogadishu is making and have always been supportive of any Mamuul that central regions of Galgaduud, Galmudug or Hiiraan may have, it will all be a positive develpment and rebuilding Somalia inch by inch.
  12. A U-turn indeed, he even allowed the export of Dhuxasha that was ready on the port which they made the most noise about. He's learning politics step -by-step and as the day passes, ninku ilee waa iska unuka Why stand on the way of something you can't stop, be clever and get along lines of 'waanu fasaxnay' iyo 'maamul haloo sameeyo' right from the beginning, I'm sure that would have won him 1 or 2 political points.
  13. Singling out Ahmed Madoobe is not going to confuse issues; Kismayo admin opponents are not against Madoobe, they are afraid Kismayo becoming autonomous region within Somalia's current constitutional framework. Just say so waryaa Not only that Xiinow, but they are also scared of having another strong, stable and booming D-block led administration in south Somalia all the while Mogadisho and Abwaan's corners in central regions are in a state of chaos.
  14. Abwaan stop your sinister talk, your motive is well clear. There is no conflict in the horizon among these communities. Contrary to your negative comment, in fact its a positive news that all these men are throwing themselves in to run for the highest post of the new administration which shows their strong conviction and believe in the creation of Jubbaland state of Somalia. Of course there will be a contest, its healthy its what is required. However, there will be a problem when only one community says that they should take the top post but as long as the people from these regions, Gedo, Lower and Upper Jubba have the right to run, its good, welcome it and may the best man win to lead the Maamul. It will ultimately depend on the skill, character and personality of the individual who wants to be the president to win and it will be up to the task of the MPs of this maamul or the people of the region to choose who they want. Cali Madoobe is a good individual, has no baggage behind him and gets on well with all the communities from theregion so he has a good chance, also Prof. Ghandi is not that much of a controversial individual, he was only spearheading the Azania project which was harmless so he may win but Axmed Madoobe iyo ragga lamidka ah kaarka ayaa qaraxsan like Hiiraale or Morgan. However, Axmed Madoobe as a man who fought agains Alshabaab and help get rid of them from the region, his great energy may be acklowedged by other forms of posts, ministerial post or ciidanka post. All is good and all we are interested in is to see a strong, stable and booming administration in south Somalia, which this may be the first sign of it, so lets welcome it and may the best man win to lead it. Shubuhaadka halaga daayo from Mogadisho laga soo kuusaayo meesha. Qofkastaa wuu gali karaa tartanka waa win gareen karaa hadii uu hada win gareen waayona next time uu win gareen karaa but if nothing is created now then there is nothing to win next time. Meeshu waxee ahaneesaa foodo and its not in the interest of Gedo, lower and upper juba inee waligood fodada koonfurata kujiraan.
  15. Rahima, why isn't the President concentrating to the solve the issues surrounding Mogadishu, we why isn't he creating an all inclusive administration for Xamar, surely Mogadishu is not settled only by his clan and has never been historically but by all Somalis. Why isn't he addressing the issues of the occupied houses, don't you think this is misplaced priority, even if he had to focus on one particular region or city surely it shouldn't be Kismayo since he has a closer fragile egg to fry. Somalis are always suspicious that their leaders are clanists and work for their clanish agenda, but this time most Somalis know Hassan Sheikh is clanist and is bidding for the clan agenda.

  17. The President should concentrate on Mogadishu. That's the capital and the most important city in Somalia yet the most controversial and volatile city in the country. I was hearing the Ugandans threatened to leave few days ago. if that happens, I don't know how he's going to defend himself from the likes of M. Dhere, Qanyare, Indacade, Yalaxow from reappearing again. He needs to concentrate on Mogadishu and make a contingency plan. Should he put a proper effort into fixing Mogadishu, call upon all Somalis to return to it, set up a plan dadkii quyahooda loogu celiyo, create and instill into the Somali mind that the old glory of the capital is back and sets up a just admin that encompasses of all Somali walks for Mogadishu and that of which is a shadow of a real capital, then everything else must follow suit. If he's man enough to rise to this challenge and be up to the task then neither Somaliland nor Puntland should be too big for his boots let alone other not so significant regions politically.
  18. WTF are Indacade and Goobaanle doing and involved in Kismayo, these two warlords are the ones that looted, maimed and killed the innocents in Shabeele and Jubooyinka regions. Indhacade was that man who burnt the whole of Dhoobleey city. If this is true, then this President is big time qabyaaladiiste, the other side must send Hiraale, Morgan and Jees too to represent the region.
  19. ^Round table discussion - that works, that's only winner here.
  20. Despite my dislike for donation, especially the European/Anglo-Saxon donations, I welcome it and hope it ends up being properly used for the good of these regions and not directly go to the pockets of few politicians.
  21. We don't know the good and the bad of the cabinet until we see what they do. So far any Somali minister's maximum life as cabinet member has been less than six months on average in the last 2 decades. We will see if this cabinet survives for at least six months and whatever they may be able to achieve during their serving time - 6 months to be a good estimate.
  22. This is not going to happen and if this government and president are fool enough to do it or even be soft about this issue, it will lead to and risk an all out civil war break out in the north and in most of the country again, 1991 era. Although no one can blame this government for picking someone who hosted pro secessionist views in the past as that individual may have changed views but President Hassan needs to be clear and must air his view in public regarding the whole secession of SL issue for all to know and put it to bed once and for all.
