  3. ^ I thought the same thing about the Taj Mahal. Machu Picchu&Petra are my faves out of the lot.The only ones that are leave me in awe just from looking at pics despite the amount of times I have viewed them. Ps-Although the Pyramids are the only surviving wonders from the ancient list were they not/allowed to be re-entered?Gonna go do some googling.
  4. Sheh I agree about the networking.Make connections abroad sis it's really valuable! In the last year especially I have gone outside of my UK niche and expanded to people who can offer retrospective advice abroad(Namely the States/Canada and Brit graduates who have moved there). It has provided really useful as you know what the rest of the world has to offer Brit graduates. Horta Q for you Sheh.Do you know that there are quite a few people who would not employ over-qualified folks? That they believe in their insecure minds that one day(sooner rather then later) you will nab their jobs!Lol Lakiin obviously if it is the allocated specific HR staff who specialise in interviewing and not the actual heads of the corporation it's not like that.
  5. Originally posted by Naden: I update them in my sleep. There are 150,000 versions of my CV circulating in 4 continents and 50,000 portfolio pieces. Recruiters are my biatches or I am their whore. Whatever  [/QB] Leeeeh kursigaan ka dhacay walle!
  6. Wow Sheh it's great that you really get all the details and your mind set before the interview so you're completely comfy.Never thought about it like that but you're right. I'm not a graduate yet and the 'student' jobs that I have done so far have required a bit of 'enthusiasm' you know...Making small time retail and hotel managers believe that their workplace is 'amazing' Lol. I like job interviews tho.I mean even those that seem 'difficult' at the beginning are easy to break down once you show an interest in them. Lakiinse I'm sure I will be eating my words once I need to shop for Law firm placements next yr.

  12. Rudy Cant you read English marka hore? Are you trying to tell me I cant pledge my Blue flag on our independence day and dont know my history?Next time try reading the WHOLE of what I wrote before you second guess with your mis-educated self.Who the hell are you when you bring your broken ebonic smack to me in the first place?!I mention Laas Caanood and you go nuts?Lol people from Laas Caanood are more nationalistic then yourself will EVER be and dont bring Lexus in when she has nothing to do with me or is here to defend herself.Coward. Ileyn dhagaxiinta baa ku wareeriyey, talking about NBA players and haraam kids?! From now on dont ever and I mean EVER address me on these forums.CAAR hadaad nin tahay...Especially when you have me mistaken for the deluded and lost dhagax lovin' Somalis in your life! AAliyah I know sis,I know. MMA Thank you for being the ONLY person to have replied who understood my enquiry. As ever you can bring your patient answer to the table.Mahadsenid! Cant wait to celebrate the day in Central London (ENGLAND UK-rudy take note) Insha'Allah.Anyone have any events?
  13. We could make a fortune selling LV fakes. All we need is some laundry bags, stensil and some black spray paint.
  14. Question-I know the independence from the British was 26th June and the 1st July from the Italians. So why do I only hear about the 1st?I'm sure there are many people who are not Somalilanders and pledge their alliance to Soomaalia but were under the thumb of the British waagi hore.Like my family for instance from Laas Caanood. Is the 1st of July one a joint affair? Two for the price of one miya?
  15. Amiin to all the ducas, may they all be accepted Insha'Allah. May Allah SWT grant him Jannah and ease this time for his loved ones...amiin.
  16. MMA Typo walaal, please excuse it.I asked hooyo also and she verified to me that it is indeed af carabi. Thanks for all the help walaal.
  17. MMA-Awaad?Never heard of it...Hooyo speaks af Carabi so I will ask her if it is.Sounds Soomaali-ish tho. So you notice too how many af Carabi words we use too?Lol

  19. chubacka I want to know about petitions also.Lakiin are they (the gov) not making crazy ££ on the taxes they recieve through trade/imports? They really need to understand that alot of these excessive grazers are unemployed and are nocturnal. How can anyone even attempt to better their quality of life if they sleep during the day and do nothing beneficial during the night apart from graze like cows? Paranoia is also linked with excessive chewing...maybe because they have so much time to think things through whilst on their mirqaan? Whatever the case when khad decides WHEN you can and cant sleep and how you deal with those around you it needs to GO.
