  1. Hey Val!!I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and had a wonderful time Masha'Allah. Seriously I'm dying to go to New Zealand to see my beloved habaryar and habrowadag in Dec(Insha'Allah) and never even thought about wanting to stop by over Aussieland on my way there to be truthful...Lakiinse your description of your time there seems to have diminished my sad excuse for stereotypes...I'm sold now. ps(edit)-Did you get to meet any Somali New Zealanders in Aussie Val?Apparently alot have moved from NZ to Australia in recent years?
  2. Who said anything about gender testing? Do you not know about how gender is determined from the Sperm?X and Y chromosomes that determine the sex. Just stop talking.Actually you know what I will stop talking,it was mucho ****** of me to even reply to this post.. Habeen wanaagsan
  3. Lily-I'm going to get some stuff sewn at this Modern Nigerian tailors in South-East after my exams are done.My Nigerian co-worker showed me some stuff she and her sisters had made for a showcase-type event...Really original and practical designs too! I will let you know how it all turns out.
  4. Idiotic....Nothing much else I can say if you believe this ish. Go and take a few lessons in Biology JB and roobleh if you dont have the slightest inkling! Married couples need Sex Ed kulaha....I'm sure most dont believe this shyte and did you not say you were married JB on these boards?Waa wareey.

  6. Lol @ Playgirl I've never heard of this in my life, porno mags for women? Hahaaaa
  7. ^ I heard that too...especially the "Good answer" bit at the end. That vid was so cute tho!
  8. Well I see the screen of my laptop so let me change it to past tense for a mo'... Walking along a busy high street on Sunday I saw the sincerity and innocence of a child across the street who ran to help a tired and worn in old homeless man who fell only to be held back by their mother. They saw past the dirt, the age and their social and economic troubles which is more then the child's mother. What do you see?
  9. ^Ofcourse it's a joke Looool. I remember seeing this pic ages ago.It brought a smile to my face then and it brough smile to my face now.Lol thankis yuu feeri armaajo MMA
  10. I watched it today actually.Good luck to those girls.
  11. You're welcome girls... Lily I love the long flowing dresses you posted and those alike but since I'm 5"11 they usually turn out to be three quarter length..Lol..I'm just going to purchase the material from wholesale specialist stores and get them made.Hooyo knows best in this case so I should start listening to her...The world shows tall biijs no loof I cant run away from comfy dresses and skirts because of my height.I'm gonna petition to Topshop...I mean they have the trousers and tops set(The tall range) but what about full length skirts and dresses? They never do 'em but yet they do it for the regular length collection
  12. 157 Iraqis today in baghdad...It's sad that it's not even surprising anymore.May Allah SWT ease their loved ones pain, amiin. Awlugeeye,Fairfax you say?Hmmm...But yeah he showed alot of signs that he was a troubled soul. I just watched the live conference that they held and it was like a circus. The Police looked lost and kept on switching speakers when one was uninformed... the lack of knowledge on the available info that most of them displayed was not good at all.If they didn't know they should have not of even held the news conference.
  13. Lol @ The pic.....Forget the apparel... I'm more concerned with why everyone looks lost?Like their missing/looking for someone?....Bless 'em Swedes. Speaking of vegetables I love boiled Swedes in my maraq...Yum
  14. Howdy Lily, I'm not shocked by the shooter per se...It's shocking because of how small the world is,just last year my cousin was there and then he moved.I'm sure he must know some of the people who were injured/killed or people who knew them. What Allah SWT wills...
  15. "At least 22 people were killed in two incidents when a lone gunman opened fire on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg on Monday, police said. Police said they believed the shooter was among the dead. Tech President Charles Steger called the shootings "a tragedy of monumental proportions." My cousin transferred away from Tech to go up north last semester. This is shocking wallahi.... Any Yanks know more on the situation or why this happened?
  16. They should pay a fee to which the victims will be treated to a holiday..... Oh who am I fooling?Admin for President!
  17. Sheh , a bolero/cardigan/jacket thingy would work for summer with the dresses.Like these for example...three quarter arms or full it's up to you. I'm a big fan of the lightly embellished types myself, they add a little bit of sparkle if you cant be arsed to don the jewellry that day or if the dress is simple. I'm into the romantic-ish blouse lookin' dresses over jeans.Light and practical.but I cant seem to find the time to go shopping.Im always at the wrong location at the wrong time.I need to get some stuff done. I like some ethnic African print dresses but it's difficult to find one that isn't screaming out "I'm off to a Nigerian wedding".I'm gonna try my hand at making my own ,anyone tried it? Something along the lines of this one...

^Lol miskiin.Me and SNet go way back sadly enough.Thank Goodness I left that mental asylum. Yasmin Warsame has that edgey angular look about her (face in particular) which sets her apart.

  22. Masha'Allah he has shown that nothing is unattainable without hard work and passion. "It is an honor for the Somalis in the diaspora. Another Achievement from one of our own" Indeed
  23. ^ Have you listened to Qaraami with the kaban?Do you believe that the simplistic and heart wrenching qaraami is outdated too because it doesn't have Timbaland's studio crew producing it?Lol Leave the Casio keyboard alone dammit! As for the woman singing.....I liked her dirac is all.
  24. Maakhir, why here? Why now....Go to the politics and post this up not in the middle of this thread. It's not appropriate even if there were nacasiin talking about it.Shooo Guess the city people...
