  1. I did more walking in the last 2 days than ive done in 2yrs since i was in london. Feels good but my feet are killing me! Good exercise though
  2. I'm here now so drop me a line on here or on facebook if for some strange reason you might wanna see me
  3. Is there anything going on for Kowda Luulyo in T.O. over the weekend? Or is it all being done on Thursday? That would be a good way to start off my trip, with a good ruwayad
  4. ^Restaurants are all the same, you sit and eat. Besides I've been to the Hamdi's in Edmonton anyways. But I heard the one in Toronto is open 24hrs so I might check it out if I'm hungry at 3am. Haneefa LOL if it wasn't for the curvature of the earth, you'd be able to see from the Alberta-Saskatchewan border all the way across to Manitoba so i can understand that you're starving for some scenery, but I'm not the outdoors type so I apologize but I have no clue about Kananaskis or Banff or any part of that area in particular. The area I'm familiar with is the southeast portion of AB around Medicine Hat where I grew up, and that area is nothing but farmland. Anyways, insha Allah I'm in Toronto on Friday!

I can't understand any of it, but I guess I'd find it funny if I did
  6. ^Masha Allah, may Allah SWT make it happen for you and for me as well, amiin.
  7. I'm impressed with myself for actually watching a few of these games

LOL that dude's got a serious fivehead going on, even for a Somali
  9. ^That's probably the whole problem right there. England reminds me of the late 90's/early 00's New York Rangers(hockey team )All the individual talent that money could buy, but they could never play as a team and so they went nowhere.
  10. Awesome@Tuujiye, even if you don't show up, I'm trying to get out to Ottawa for a couple days anyways cuz I have relatives there. Jealous, Juxa?

  12. Well at least England's on to the round of 16 so you have something to do while you're there Val, I gotta keep up appearances moog tahay  Maybe I'll see Brazil someday though, that would be nice.
  13. Insha Allah I'm coming to Toronto next month so if anyone wants to meet me let me know
  14. Wa alaikum salaam walaal, great advice
  15. This reminds me, is there a World Cup for women's soccer?
  16. Ibti, you can add me to the traveler's list as well, I'm off to Toronto next month
  17. Was the vuvuzela actually invented in South Africa? We had a few of them during our labour dispute last year so I know just how annoying they are(and so do some security guards as well ) but I've watched 2 of these WC games(keep in mind that I've only watched 3 footy matches in my life LOL) and honestly, they don't bother me. Maybe that's because(or despite) the fact that I'm a football newbie. Besides, it's their tradition, and it's good for the economy.
  18. Canada's 14th on the list, not bad...
  19. My bosses are cool, they let me go outside for a smoke whenever I want
  20. This looks like a thinly-veiled "which SOL sister would you marry" thread If that's the case, I'm not telling you my answer
