Juxa...Not nominating enough women for the award is not intentional attempt to discriminate or turn the place into boy's club. We merely choose people who we sincerely thought had interesting and importantly useful threads/posts.

^No denying that boy's club exists but in this case, sex was not determining factor atleast consciously. I have also been accused of nominating how folks who are hardly here or whose names are not recognized by majority of Solers. I (we) nominated people that I felt were deserving.

 

The 'we' can not be disclosed but I'm their public face and spokesperson.

I tried to be as objective as possible and not let my personal feeling to taint the nominations. I think if there's one nomination tainted with my personal feelings is Nuune's nomination for thread started by me. Many suggested that I should have nominated for his Jin stories. Other than that, I would say the nominations are fair.
