  2. U.S. officials say the Obama administration will offer up to $33 million in rewards for information about top members of an Islamist extremist group in Somalia linked to al-Qaeda. The rewards for the leaders of the al-Shabab militia movement will be announced Thursday by the U.S. State Department. The bounties will be administered by the department's Rewards for Justice program. It will be the first time the program has offered rewards for members of al-Shabab, which is accused of terrorist attacks in Somalia, Uganda and Kenya. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the bounties have not yet been announced. The program will offer up to $7 million for al-Shabab's founder, up to $5 million for three of his main associates and up to $3 million for two other top members. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2012/06/06/us-rewards-somali-militants.html

  4. ^I came here to point out certain pattern of behavior that new secessionists on site exhibit and from the looks of it, you fit that profile to the letter. And the rest of the stuff you said is just cantarabaqash.
  5. loool@Xaaji adiga iyo aniga isfahaney laakiin baptize secessionist newbies before they start posting angry threads. Aadan....Your obsession with Kacaanka proves my point and your assumption of those disagree with you were indoctrinated by kacaanka don't leave lot of room for discussion. You already made your mind and want to just vent.
  6. Moon....And burahadeer with his genocidal tendencies praying for war so he could wipe out people. Now, he's his on mission of Somali revivalism though motivated by anti-Arab sentiments. loool..see already our new friend is full of buuto faan badan iyo feer ironically qualities found in new Pland kids. Aadan...there's no subject to be discussed. You are talking from place of anger-hard to rationalize and engage someone fuming and blowing off steam.
  7. LOL@Aadan Aw Xiin....Aadan is part of pattern of any secessionist that joins SOL-angry, at times bitter and obsessed with kacaan while selling us the idea of democratic Somaliland but you push their buttons on issues of SOOL and secession, their ugly qabyaalad like any other Somalis comes to town. I give him couple months to mellow down. What did our dear friend XX used to say, dadkaa guuray dhulka.....
  8. ^I hate NGO's. I have seen what they done to our people in Dadaab and Nairobi. In anycase, I hope things come to an end peacefully in August.

I would defend him mainly I myself don't believe in these stories. Take for example the story D-block Shiekh up on tree refusing to come down unless he lands on someone-very offensive and no history to prove such man existed.
  13. ^I would speculate but I have offended Abtigiis enough for the year.
  14. I will say get me woman (offensive yes)
  15. You really believe Kenyans will bring solutions?
  16. lool@fircoon Burahadeer..outside influence is unavoidable no matter how hard you resist. That said, Somalia and Somalis should be studied but not out of fear of losing our culture.
  17. ^It's always amazed how sincerely people believed in those stories. And there's political aspects to these stories as some are used to justify one's standing within the Somali political structure. In fact, they attach certain qualities to each story.
  18. Burahadeer...What's with this Somali revivalism or is it anti-Arab side talking? Somali folktales are bout deception, fear and boast. I stop telling them to my nieces and nephews. They will always ask what's moral of the story and I have no real answers.
