lool@burahaader..16? nagadaaye Folks-I think most of us are saying the same and agree in spirit but we are just engaging in 'listen me Somali' syndrome. I like Idi:D

Burahadeer...Are you serious? People...let's contextualize things and examine the situation in Somalia and key indicators.

Perhaps they should stop consuming the lion's share of the world's resources if they wanna save the planet? A high birth rate is the only thing going for deprived Somalis right now - children are their investment and future pension. Ditto

Xiin....I think it depends how you look at the situation in all of Somalia including Waqooyi. I see Somalia as country that broke down to the very basic components namely clans and sub-clans despite the semblance of some governance in the north and northeast. The question for all Somalis is does each clan speak for itself and commit themselves to the union or do we allow pseudo-administrations speak for all tribes that they believe is under domain?
-
^The question is who do you talk to and who does Hargeysa represent? And the silly idea of dictating who's on the TFG committee won't help? And to me, I am looking from Mogadishu's interest, we don't have leverage short of employing the tribes on Somaliland periphery namely Khaatumo or the tribe it represents.

The problem with ONLF is the same problem with all Somali movements and that's they either have no political goal or lack the competency to achieve their goal. What you are left with is an organization sending young men to their death without any clear and sustainable political ambition. It's one thing to say we want to liberate Somaligalbeed or rule Somalia but it's another to actually do it and have wits and skills to master it.

Greek far-right Golden Dawn MP wanted for assault Greek prosecutors have issued an arrest warrant for the spokesman of the far-right Golden Dawn party after he slapped a left-wing politician in the face on live television. Ilias Kasidiaris, who was elected to Greece's parliament in last month's elections, was debating with two female politicians on a chat show. Video footage shows him throwing a glass of water at one of the women. When the other intervened, he slapped her in the face three times. Anti-immigration Mr Kasidiaris appeared to have been provoked when Rena Dourou of the radical left-wing Syriza party mentioned his alleged involvement in an armed robbery in 2007. He jumped up and threw a glass of water across the table at her, a You Tube clip of the Antenna television channel showed. When Liana Kanelli of the Greek Communist party, the KKE, apparently threw a newspaper at him, he responded by slapping her around the face with three right-left blows. A journalist at Antenna told the AFP news agency that colleagues were unable to stop Mr Kasidiaris from leaving the building. Golden Dawn has risen in profile after it won just under 7% of votes, or 21 seats, in parliamentary elections on 6 May. The party's staunch anti-immigration policy has led to accusations of racism and instigating violent attacks against immigrants. Golden Dawn's leader, Nikos Michaloliakos, has also denied the existence of gas chambers at Auschwitz and questioned the Holocaust, but he rejects the label neo-Nazi. Greece's political system has been thrown into dissarray as the results of last month's elections failed to give any party enough seats in parliament to form a coalition. Another vote is due to be held on June 17 to try and end a political impasse that eurozone leaders say is harming Greece's ability to tackle its economic crisis. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18352258

The klan might be patriotic but ONLF leadership has narrow mindset and even narrower agenda-devoid of any creativity and no appreciation for the geopolitics of the Horn and the world in general.

^I think the idea was to derail this whole thread till just time this kid works out his anger issues and settles down. That has been achieved beautifully. Besides, discussions like this is mere attempt to reinforce what one already believes-argument for argument's sake. Waryaa JB, are you calling Aadan script? Burahadeer...Smart you say, I am glad buddy. You have managed to develop some common sense and exert some self-control (don't reply this post).
