  1. Yaasiin Cismaan maa dhigan jirta? I believe that's tomb of the unknown soldier. To the right of it was Yaasiin Cusmaan, and the old court house is to the left.N there was Hindi school behind it.
  2. Originally posted by Cara: And in the aftermath, it can be argued that things would've been a lot worse if not for the determination of Somali women to take care of their families. The sacrifices they made are clear for all to see. [/QB] Taking care of your OWN family is your job. Why should one get commended for things that s/he is suppose to do. Our societal glitch continues to stem from the disproportional dominance of the deformed faaraxs It must come easy to you to point fingers at others. Aw what exactly have you done for Somalia?
  3. ^^^No....We all have responsibilities towards our country. We all failed. Being a woman doesn't negate that very responsibilty.
  4. "Gabar walba oo Soomaali ah oo suuqa gashay, nin Soomaali ayaa u sabab ah" I stand by my statement until proven wrong. You are taking personal responsibilities out of the equation.I don't see how one could use other's actions to justify their own. People make their own choices, and whatever your average Faarax does has little bearing on that. And brother, Somali women weren't innocent bystanders in the conflict that engulfed our nation. They fanned the flames of war by encouring their menfolk to fight the "enemy" . As kid in 1991, I used to see Dumarka dhulka isku tooraa saying Alla hoogayee ba,ayee, war meesha rag ma joogo miyaa scorning any young man that doesn't pick up a gun. And who could forget the late Magool (Alla Ha,unaxariisto) on top of pick-up with loadspeaker gabaabineeso young men to the frontlines. The truth is Somali women enthusiastically contributed to their country's demise. Brother, all Somalis regardless of gender need to some soul searching!!! Blaming any one side is counterproductive, and will hardly yield any favourable outcome.
  5. That's norm here. I would have thought you know the least bit.Besides, overwhelming majority of Somali sites represent their Qabiil's viewpoint. Surely, that's not news to you.
  6. ^^what compelled you to write this little piece?
  7. Mejia....Luckly for us, these vulture funds would usually look for actual vaible state with real treasury, something the current "Somali State" completely lacks. There is barely any assets to the Somali goverment's name. And it is still illegal to use natural resources as collateral.
  8. LooooooL...that was record breaking. now the question is who will be your cell mate? Iam sure there is more people in here that we need to lock up.
  9. Iam doing great Bob..Alxamdullah See you later. Serenity....I was left with diffirent feeling. I thought he implied Faaraxs as unprincpled bunch with little or no self worthy, and easily influenced. The praises was for the culture, and not so much for the people.
  10. Originally posted by -Serenity-: How are you and what possessed you to write all of that? You dont have to beat up other men if you want to praise the  Somali man  . Where did he praise us? Bob...why so little faith in Faaraxs?
  11. We should lock you up for your own good.
  12. Sad to report Zambia has actually lost the case, and will have caugh up the 40milweb page . The United States president has the actual LEGAL power to stop these companies buying junk bonds from third world debt. Unfortunately, the Bush Administration will not take any action as likes of Paul Singer ( the man who virtually created this industry) contributed handsomedly to the Bush election campaign, and he also supports all the republican base in the New York state. He is currently bankrolling ( by contributing his own money, and holding fundraising events) the campaign for the Guilliana presidency bid. These people are so well connected to the point even when the likes of Michael Sheehan who in essence admitted to bribing foriegn president will not face any legal repercussions. Even more interesting, Sheehan's main man in DC was the now indicted and convicted Jack Abramoff. Well, so much debt relief.
  13. All I can post here is my personal opinion. Why so many contradictions in your views Jaylaani. Surely, you can't profess to care for the people of Xamar yet despise the only entity that brought about any semblance of normalcy to their lives. Or is it the case that anyone who disagree with your tribal enclave agenda is automically a villian in your mind? I do understand things we say and do here is very futile, and at times even not worthy the effort.
  14. Originally posted by Jaylaani: Che, Just come out and say it man. Don't you love adeero Yey and what he's doing in Xamar cadeey.. ethnic cleansing..with the help of KUFAAR AXMAARO AH. Xabashibaa hargaisa baasuka la murtuu dadka ka dhaadhicinayaa..waar wax isku faL. And this is from the man who used to badmouth the courts on any given oppurtunity. Spare the crocodile tears. You niether care or understand the needs of reer Xamar, and by your own admittion, you could give rats @ss about Somalia. Alle-Ubaahne....Unlike you my friend, I don't take cover under Qabiil or the Diin.
  15. The TFG, Somaliland and Pland are the clients Zenawi regime saaxib.

You will come to Dayib Cafe, you will tea with me, and then you will start to act, "Af-wax-cunay-xishoo" by fully understanding my side of the story against both your uncle and the Amxaar that is occupying my homeland! P.S: but I advise you to re-read my irony, of what I meant and where I was going to it! LooooooL.......when did Yeey become my adeer? Anyhow, we shall meet one of these days IA. And as for Xamar, obviously alot has changed in Xamar during the ICU riegn, but sadly they lacked the political maturity to deal with their enemies, and seemed to oblivious to the fact that there is no Somali nation, just warring tribal factions who just happen to share the same language.
  17. All-Ubaahne...Maku fahmin duqa. JB...This doesn't really matter who replaces him. It all starts and ends the same way. When individual Somali learns to value their own interests ahead of their Qabiils, only then we could resuscitate the Somali State.
  18. ^^^Iam sure Amxaarado Hargesba iyo Berberaba wee ku xaartaa.
  19. LoooL@Zaf waryaa..you stole my idea.
  20. ^^^Just imagine guys under 25. I used to pay alot.
  21. Xoogsade.....I understand the Amxaar didn't care for the Somali way of doing things, but is the Somali. Otherwise, this conflict wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. And the truth of the matter is, even with Yeey's departure from Xamar, I doubt anything would change. Someone else will rise in his position blindly supported his Qabiil. As long as we don't understand the concept of "live and let live", Somalis will not never see peace.
  22. LoooL@Dabshid Yup the magic number 27!
  23. Originally posted by UK_ROSE: lol. Fascinating.. Ice is melting, maybe next we can all tell our real names!! LooooL....I promise we won't ask your bra size. Just name will do. Val & Puja......Just a guess. I figure this site has been operational seven at most. The majority of us that joined were college kids in late teens or early twenties (of course you have xiins and ngones). I say good number of people will be in their late 20s.
