  1. Lool @ the riding the motorcycle, i have seen picture similar when I was in Egypt. Egyptians would do anything to save money thats why they have two toilets in a bathroom.
  2. I dont think all those make u beautiful, beauty is just natural, and some of us are blessed with it I never put make up on my face, i never get my eyebrows done, but people always ask me what i use for my face. I use suncream to protect my face summer and winter and vaseline for my lips. I think somali girls are the pretiest among the africans, thats what people use to say us ath the university. CL, nothing is wrong with protuding forhead, except for those that their hair start in the middle of the head.
  3. Yup I agree with KK. The only case, would be if the guy or the girl converted to islam, and repented to Allah, and he/she should definately get STI test. But as Allah stated in the quran good men will get a good women, so glad tidings to those who fear and controll their desires.
  4. I definately agree with hamsa, i am a nurse and I make enough so either way i would have to pay tax, so i dont mind cause i know that $200 dollars from pay cheque would be helping someone else to live.
  5. I dont understand why people are making it big deal, u all grew up in walfare sometime in ur life. This family did nothing wrong they were fortune that the goverment gave them a nice house. Besides, it is not their fault for having 8 kids, it is from Allah, so u cant blame them for the large family.
  6. If u dont like drama queen then u have to eliminate the suuro part. Drama queens are full of suuros. The list is ok except for the part that u expect women to remove ur shoes and make ur bath ready!!! acuudibalah are u an old man when ur expecting that from ur wife, or unless u have physical ilness where u cant do it urself. Anyhow, good luck finding a wife like that, u would be lucky if u get a wife with one of the things u mentioned in ur list.
  7. "Love without a kiss, is like a tea without sugar" by moi p.s i am talking abt halal love:D

  11. ^^Because men are full of fitnas so they post all fitna topics in women's section.
  12. All somali kids are expreincing the same thing no need to label them, may Allah make it easier for them.
  13. ^I know domestic has been there, but somali women are mostly ashamed of reporting their husbands and to the point where it reaches taking their precious lifes away.
  14. I heard when she found out that he has been molesting her daughter, she didnt report him to the police but rather talk to the local imam, who seperated them. Also, he has threatened her so many times and did not even report him. Subhana'allah domestic violence against women is growing in our community and mostly they are too afraid to report the abuse because of cultural issues. My mom was telling she was treating somali woman in the hospital with bruises all over her face, when my mom asked her she denied that it had nothing to do with her husband. But when my mom talk to her more she opened up and has been in abusive relationship and was afraid to report her husband because of what others might say about her, alhamdulilah she is no longer with him. May Allah grant our sister janutul firdows and may protect her children. Aamin.
  15. tan feeraha xunee aad moodo in dhexda xarig looga xiray oo xarig jiid lagu ciyaarayana gaajo ayaa ku heysa ee wax cun caqligii ay ku garan laheyd baa ka maqan...marka kulligoodba waa dameer iyo dhashiis." This offending some of us as we have small upper bodies and mash'allah good looking lower bodies. So if u have feeraxun that doesn't mean ur doqon and starve urself , it basically means u have some curves. So on behalf of all the girls with the small feera I demand for an opology "PS. If a girl weighs less than 65 Kg...she's not attractive in my eyes" Weight doesn't mean anything, my cousin is athletic and she weighs close to this amount so this doesn't mean she is fat.
  16. Who cares what people think. What matters is what I think. Last time I remember you were the one who was complaining about being called jareer by some old lady, if that didnt hurt you so much i am sure you wouldnt come complaining to SOL. nuune, waji macbuus means scary face or a mean person? kool kat, you remind me of my friend she is very open person and can make friends easily she would talk to strangers like she knew them before.
  17. How do people describe you when you meet them first, their first impression, whay do they see about you once they get to know you? When people meet me first they hate me because they think i am arrogant. I am really nice person but quiet, i dont like to talk to peple at the begining thats why they describe me as "kiberley". This really bothers me but once people get to know me they really like me and we get along well. share your stories...
  18. I have general friends but i dont have any best friend. The only best friend i have is my brother i can count on him and get the best advice from him and he is the only who is patient with me and doesnt judge me. I never get too involved with girlfriends, all my friends are equal i just tell them all the same thing and nothing personal things related to my life.
  19. He doesnt look nothing like somali. I have seen so many somali men doing this in the masjid but using the siwak, it looks discusting with the tooth brush in public.
  20. I want ask everybody How to establish rules for a newly broken-up couple living together''' Break-upFilter: What are the rules forinteraction between a newly-separated duo who still plan living together for now, and is there a way to make things less awkward??? A friend of mine has just broken up with her boyfriend (with whom she lives). They're on amiable terms and have agreed to continue living together for at least the forseeable future, but neither is quite sure what the rules are now. What are the limits are, or, ways that they can figure them out together in the least uncomfortable way possible for both of them? Any tips on making the situation a bit less awkward for both of them??[/quote If ur friends are muslims, what they are doing is completely haram, cause in islam there is no such a thing girlfriend/boyfriend or common law relation, ur either married or divorced. If ur frieds r not muslims may Allah guide them to the path then.. thats my advice, hope it answered ur qtn:)
  21. Lool caadi ma tihid. I hope you are not mad at your brother? Mad at him, I hated him for doing that, but now i understand why he did that. If a guy is serious about you and respects you he would approach ur mahram first. A guy who just approaches u with ****** comments abt ur look, i call him ciyaalo suuq, and deserves to get beat up
  22. It depends how you define successful. So far alhamdulilah my life has been successful and i achieved most of my goals at a young age. But most of all i am sucessful because by the help of Allash and continues duaa. Your successful when your close to Allah and you are failure when u turn away from Allah. So thats how i see having a successful life.
  23. Who the hell follows these ****** advices writen by some ****** white person, when you can just follow your mather's advices. Besides, we have the sunah of the propher s.a.w to follow, so no need to read some long boring article to get advice.
  24. I've struggled for the past three years to pray regularly and consistently, but I just can't manage. I think it's a combination of my work/school schedules and plain laziness... Any advice on how someone could make prayer a permanent part of their life? If some thing is really important to you will always have time for it no matter how busy your life is. If you make salat your top prioroty and then it will become permenant part of your life. Also, if you have friends how are always reminding prayer timings, compare to friends how dont pray then that makes a big difference. Last but not least, always make duaa to Allah to guide you and accept all the good deeds you do and to give your heart qushuuc.
