  2. Aren't there already prisons in somalia in Garrowe, and northwest somalia. I still believe my idea of imprisoning secessionists is good, or put em in an asylum where they are brainwashed into becoming ideal somali's who love their country and people.
  3. Originally posted by Resistance: And Somalis are not Africans i suppose. Africa is a diverse continent, and of course somali's are africans. Learnt to read and comprehend.
  4. Republicans and hypocricy go hand in hand. Yet somehow, they always end up beating the democrats.
  5. Yea, I've seen those ads. The funny part they say 'meet somali women' and they have pictures of scantily clad west african/non somali african women. I suppose they could be somali bantu.
  6. If it was up to me I would put all secessionists in prison, these people are a cancer to somaliweyn.
  7. Why isn't this in the political section? I find it suspect that it's being posted by a secessionist. What was you're intentions in posting this jacaylbaro, what do you have to do with puntland, eyl if you are a secessionist?
  8. ^ It has to do with the fact that just like hitler, Churchill was not a good man, and great britain and America was responsible for massacre, enslavement of other ethnicities. If you look at Germany before Hitler and after hitler, you would realize the accomplishments Hitler achieved. He basically took a beaten, demoralized, unemployed, economically and military weak germany and made it into the most feared nation. If that is not great leadership, I don't know what is. Now in the end he did loose, but leadership isn't about the final outcome, but looking at someone's overall achievements, he's ability to guide people to common goal etc. It's not about who was 'bad' or who was good. And him committing suicide makes him honorable, it's better to die at your own hands than die by the hands of your enemy. The japanese sumarai had a similar code of honor called seppuk. This palin woman is far from a great leader though, she's friggin hockey mom with five kids and former beauty pageant, a nice piece of booty but that's all she is.
  9. ^ Winston churchil was a racist and was not a better leader than Adolph hitler. Here's the simple definition of leadership: "the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal" I would say by that measure, Hitler was the better leader of all three.
  10. Most secessionists('somalilanders') believe they are 'gaining' something from the suffering of somali's in the south and they would rather see the current somali government fail than succeed, I've noticed that. They have a real enmity towards somali unity and somaliweyn, and it's actually quite sad.
  11. Ethiopia basically controlls northwest somalia('somaliland'), the ethiopians use berbera port and can basically do as they please.
  12. No I said you were wrong about blacks "actually" voting before white women, not being legally allowed. Re-read my first post. You should've clarified your statement to begin with, instead of making it seem like black men were voting in large numbers before the 1960's. Next time, just make the distinction and I will not have to school you again.
  13. Layzie G Clearly you did not learn much from your american history class, or you have trouble comprehending. I'm not arguing that black men weren't legally allowed to vote before women, my argument is there so much restrictions put in place that it in effect blacks could not actually vote until the 1960's, decades after women were voting. What good is having the 'right' to vote if there are disenfranchising laws that prohibit all blacks from voting? Think before you type, a white woman always has more value than a black man and she always will in america. You're giving off the impression that blacks were voting, and there rights were respected before the 1960's when the truth of the matter, is most blacks were being lynched, harrased by white supremacists etc. And in most cases in the world, women's suffrage was granted before universal suffrage, so drop the victim attitude.
  14. "All women, regardless of race will play second fiddle to all men for sometime to come. Black men voted long before white women or any woman" You're wrong, women were able to vote before blacks in america. . "The 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution were passed following the Civil War, in the later 1860s. They outlawed slavery and extended civil rights and suffrage (voting rights) to former slaves. The LEGAL right to vote for African-Americans was established, but numerous restrictions kept many blacks from ACTUALLY voting until the 1960s Voting Rights Act." Sarah Palin will resonate with soccer mom's and women and blue collar families, because the honest truth is they are not bright bunch and American's time and time again vote based on who they can relate to and necessarily who's good for them.
  15. What exactly is your subject If I may ask?

  17. If anything the pick did help to overshadow obama's speech. I suspect it will be a good pick, Americans especially hillary supporters are dumb voters and will easily fall for this gimmick woman despite her being very right wing.

  20. That was a great speech, probably he's best. Finally a speech that was more substance than rhetoric, he's campaign is starting to understand that to win the general elections unlike the primaries they have to appeal to the center just as clinton had done in the 90's.
  21. BAIDOA, Somalia, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Somalia's President Abdullahi Yusuf urged members of parliament on Thursday to work together and end rifts that have threatened to wreck the Horn of Africa nation's interim government. Yusuf and his Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein signed a deal in neighbouring Ethiopia this week, ending a feud that began when Hussein sacked Mogadishu's powerful mayor, a key Yusuf ally. "We have agreed that no one should interfere with the other's work," Yusuf told parliament in the south-central town of Baidoa. "The world is keeping an eye on us and the differences among us are known." The split had threatened to derail the implementation of a peace deal signed this month at U.N.-led talks in Djibouti. The agreement, which has been rejected by hardliners, seeks the replacement of Ethiopian troops supporting the transitional government with a robust U.N. peacekeeping force. More then 8,000 civilians have been killed in violence since the beginning of last year. The conflict has also triggered a humanitarian crisis aid workers say is the worst in Africa. A report this week said the number of Somalis needing aid had leapt 77 percent since January to more than 3.2 million. (Writing by Wangui Kanina, editing by Dina Kyriakidou) Source: Reuters
  22. Huraale is quite the runner, he can give usain bolt a run for he's money.
  23. Who really cares? And there is no such thing as somalinimo anyways, it died with the somali civil war. A somali woman can marry a kangaroo with syphilus for all I care.

Even Yeey and Cadde their own deluded way somewhat their mistakes though it seems that they were chided to admit their failures. It's not blind loyalty, but supporting and working with the imperfect government we have, you're not gonna get a perfect government especially in somalia and we have to start from the bottom and somewhere down the line better, competent leaders will emerge. We just have to be patient and think long term instead of being emotional. Being critical of government is one thing, but sabotaging and fighting against our chance of a government is completely different.
