Fat can be a controversial issue, cause there are so many different aspects of being fat....... Like Scorpion said, ppl reffered to others as "thick" only if they were bigger in the "right places", and then there were those that were unfortunately big in other areas. So since "thick" is seen as the 'OK' fat, then i can see why some would want to be claimed as that.

I dont think I would have problem with meeting someone off the internet. We're actually in a time period that has allowed us to broaden the horizons of communication. At first i thought it was weird to hear about people meeting off the internet( in a way i still do, but its not as bad anymore). I use to say that" only weird people meet other weird ppl off the internet" , but then i thought about about it, I'm not weird( LOL ), so there are probably people like me on the internet that i wouldn't mind meeting.....so if they seem cool, and we share some sort of virtual chemistry, then HEY!, i wouldnt mind meeting you...

Im with you Nafisa, I have had about 12 hours of sleep this past 2 weeks ( combined!!). I'm so dependant on cofee now its getting scary :eek: But that was for writing final research papers, oh well that was my fault, i always wait until the last minute to do something. But my sleep will get worse next week, cause thats when i plan to take my final exams. So thanks for the luck guys, cause I will definitely need it....!! :eek: :eek:

SARs is becoming a very serious issue nowadays, and i can see how many of you can say that its just getting blown out of proportion, b/c them media is notorious when it comes to that. ... But all i want to say is, dont just blame thisonthe asians... Im hearing so many of you, " those damn indho yaar". It's like with AIDS. At first people were like, those damn gay people, and then it switched up, though some tried not to admit, " those africans". I'm not trying to compare AIDs to SARS, because in actuality, SARS is killing/affecting people in a much more rapid speed than AIDS ever was, which is why I think it is a serious issue that needs our attention. But please dont target the asians for this deadly disease....the only thing we can blame them for is keeping it a secret for so long

someone said we r not talking about kids but we are talking about marriage, do u mean that when u marry u wont have kids?. No i mean that if i ever decide to get married while I'm still in school, I would have to push the option of having kids a little later on. The reason being that when i plan to have children, I only want me, myself, and my husband taking care of them. So that requires a lot of time, but if I'm still in school, that would make it a lot more harder. But with just marriage, it makes it a lot easier, cause unlike a newborn baby, my husband can understand......

I'M A COLLEGE STUDENT AND I SURELY KNOW WHAT MOST STUDENTS THINK ABOUT(A.D.I.D.A.S). SO I ENCOURAGE ALL MY BOTHERS AND SISTERS TO MARRY AS SOON THEY FIND THE RIGHT PERSON LOL,great words of encouragment,LOL... but it sounds to me like your promoting marriage for the wrong reason. Oh and to answer the question, yes I would. We are just talking about marriage here, not kids, so even though Marriage brings along with it hardships and responsibilties, i think i can handle it. Plus college really isnt that hard, as long sa you know how to manage your time wisely......it's nice to come home from a long and stressful day with your supportive hubby waiting for you to make things all better, lol

my mother was just talking about this with me yesterday, and she mentioned how she preferred working and associating with men rather than women. Her basis was that women talked to much, and were often times fake. I have dealt with some girls who were like that, but i'm in the middle with this one. I have had some great guys that were really good friends of mine, but one thing that didn't work was that ultimatley one of us would get feelings for each other. One of my girls once told me that its hard being friends with the opposite sex without ever growing feelings for them.
