If I hear a good book being referenced on the public radio or quoted in an online source, and I like the subject, I go buy it. Mostly educational books. Fery fery Interesting You know what I love books so much, Iam so attached to them. Sometimes I feel books have souls too and they need to be handled with care and respect. But unfortunately, most of the ppl around me are barabarians, uncivilised and criminals when it comes to Books  And my best places are the Libraries and bookshops. My greatest festivals are the Books Fairs and the 2nd Hand books Fairs (I'd never sold a book ever). Why Iam working in the IT Department, I have to change my job to a Librarian. My ultimate pleasure is in books Maybe I love them more than anything. Do I have to see a shrink, nah I don't think so Salam
  3. Me too obssessed with books. Thanx god I quit buying magazines (Good 4 me ) and I gave away all the magazines I had to my friends. I believe Books are not a waste at all, they are good friends and precious fortune for the person. So BooksWORMS: keep buying books and get the benefit from them. Salam

We, as Muslims need to fight the satan inside everyone of us; this is the real and the biggest Jihad as the Prophet (SCW)stated. Otherwise, even if we have the strongest WMDs,Oil, Money, Markets, Troops, populations...etc they won't help us at all without strong faith. If muslims have strong faith, they can librate all their lands only with sticks and stones if they want. Or perhaps with one strong word coming out from their mouth "NO". Ilahay Muslimiinta ha u gargaaro oo ha u naxariisto. Amiin May Allah grant us all the strong faith to be one hand and defeat our enemies inshallah. Salam

I really don't know what to comment here except that Og-Girl don't bother urself dear. Our people hate the Arabs more than anybody else. So don't waste ur time explaining . Nationalist is talking about one sitatuion in a Bus-Stop in Dubai as if he was tortured in the Arab's Jails for a decade or something. This could happened to u anywhere and by anyone not only by Arab Drivers. Or.... lemme c.. maybe the Yankeez, the Brits, the Aussis and the Euros wouldn't do the same 2 u. Coz some ppl believe they are not biased, they know democracy, justice and Human Rights.. bla bla bla bla. Again: I pray they lift the ban so that our brothers and sisters in Somalia can run their businesses, get medication and visit their relatives n UAE. Salam
  10. Originally posted by Nationalist: Classique, bear in mind that it's likely to be lifted. I don't trust the Arabs for a dime. Every Somali can attest to that. Be optimistic brother, you never know. It's better than "Banned for ever, with or without governement" You don't have to trust anybody, trust no one and follow where you good is. Salam
  11. I read that from Awdal News today. It's great news really. I don't see Somalis much in UAE & I miss the Heavy guests in our house too LOL JK It's really good news. But U know guyz Dubai is not like Abu Dhabi at all. The Somali man with resident visa can bring his wife and parents by a visit visa while in Abu Dhabi its not possible. Even Somalis with UAE passports cant bring their relatives  So probably they will start lifting the banning in Dubai first then in the rest of the Emirates. Dubai is the city of trade & business and I believe they will do anything to run their own businesses. Besides in the government of Dubai they were trying their best to lift the ban ever since the ban was issued. This is really good news in the Eid Thanx SNW

"Allah does not change the state of people unless they change what is within themselves" Quran 13:11 This is not only about Falluja or the Iraqi nation its all about the Muslims everywhere. The Muslims are weak, shallow, lazy, hesitant, afraid & running after their own purposes and businesses ONLY. They know how to shed few tears for a while and 4get for years. And those who are good muslims are labeled with Terrorism; even Muslims are against them. Moti, the same situation is happening again and again and again. History is repeating itself. Yesterday's Iraq was suffered and tortured by (The Barbarian Tartars) and Today's Iraq is invaded and tortured by the Americans Cowboys. Nothing have changed at all; the same victim with different invader. Why we are talking about Falluja here??!! Where is Palestine,Afranistan,Chichan. Remember Muslims in Bosnia (Sarajevo)and Albania. Remember QANA in Liban. Sometimes I feel even if Mecca was invaded (God forbid) nobody will care. Coz I believe Palestine is not cheaper than Mecca. But the Holly House has the strongest and the supreme power to protect it, it doesn't need any Muslim for protection. Don't expect to see strong troops led by strong leaders and dignified warriors to save Iraq. Allah (SWT) only knows those who carry the right intentions, pure hearts and strong faith; believe me he will never let them alone. Besides don't count on any Muslim leader, see those Little Lions in Palestine who are fighting for their Lands in Palestine, nobody is supporting them but Allah (SWT). May Allah help our borthers and sisters in Islam everywhere and protect them from their enemies. May Allah helps us and show us his right path and forgive us all. Amiin P.S: I feel terribly sorry and guilty for my brothers who are killed by their enemies (the Infidels), but whall shall I say for my brothers who are killed by my brothers in the Forbidden Month??? Shall I call it another Falluja? Salam
  13. It's very sad that Ramadan is leaving us. Eid Mubarak and enjoy your times.

About puntland... go google and search it... simply it's region in Somalia... located in Norht East of Somalia... and about the word of puntland they told me ( hatjab suit ) the queen of egypt phironic ppl that time went there and took some kinda of perfume ( foox and .... ) and that is why they said ( puntland ) and means .. the land of perfume... and it's in Somalia... Well, We'd studied in the History that there was a commercial relationship between the Ancient Egyptians and the Ancient Somalis and that Somalia used to be called "Ardul Punt". But I don't think that the origin of the word "PuntLand" is Hieroglyphic word. I don't want that  La Hatshepsut wla Nefertiti, its enough what we've learned from the Pharos  Its enough I hate them *Hint* eefffff Rudy: Why are u putting this in the Jokes Section? A fighter in Faluja.. Peace It seems only Moti makes me laugh in this website Why would u fight with Arabs in Falluja against the American's Army if u don't like the Arabs, planning to make them suffer and won't allow them to enter ur country (Innocent Question  , but you know what; no need to answer. I know the answer in advance: Never Ending Story ) Well, for me, I like the Social work, volunteering and Community Service. I like to open an office for the Domestic consultations. Like the other nations, Muslims have their own social problems but sadly they hate to reveal them to others. They won't go and ask for consulations inorder to solve them. Whether these problems are between the Husband and his wife, or between the brothers, or friends, or teenagers...etc We have many Social and Pyscological Centers but the owners & the workers in these centers are Non-muslims. Which means they will only offer advices and tips that are sometimes not related to our Islamic Teachings (The Holly Qura'an and the Sunnah) Unfortunately, the Somalis in particular and the muslims in general are still thinking that its a scandal to tell their problems which they couldn't solve to someone else; although there are many muslims professionals out there who can lessen the Divorces, sepreations, teenagers problems and the social dilemmas which are destroying our Islamic socities. Being silent and keeping problems hidden and unsolved will increase them and worsen the situations more. Besides, I was always good in listening to others, gaining their trust and sovling their problems. Speically the teengers and children of the family. I know I must be qualified enough and that this job requires big efforts & skills but I hope that Almighty Allah helps me to help otherz. *Few Tips from the Lips can end many problems* Salam

Sister, perfumes are seducive. You can put as much as you want inside your house. But not outside the house. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Any woman who wears perfumes and then passes by a group of men and they smell it, she is an adulteress.†And you know well Men are everywhere around you. Allah knows best. Salam

  21. Originally posted by Jalaqsan: Ps, I hope you guys will go to the eid prayer insha-allah The Eid without prayer has no taste @ all. Its great to go to the Grand Eid Mussallah at 06 AM. Seeing all the friends and relatives there, greeting them then later return to home and have breakfast together. The Sunna befor the Eid Prayer is:- 1-To wear the best and cleanest clothes. 2-Women shouldn't put perfumes. 3-Eat 7 dates early morning and a glass of water before leaving the house. 4- Take the family children with you so that they become familiar to the Eid prayers. But if you know they are so noisy then you better keep them inside the house. 5- When you meet a Muslim sister/brother use the Islamic Greeting "Alsalmu Alaikyum wa Raxmatu ALlahu Wa Baraktu". Then say "Eid Mubarak", "Kul Cam Wa Antum Bekhir" "Ceed Saciid". 6- You can pay the Zakaat in the Masjid if you didnt pay it earlier. 7- When you return from the Masjid, use anther road so that you can see more ppl inorder to greet/congratulate them. Well for me, Iam done with my shoppings and we are decortating and cleaning the house. In the weekend we will start preparing the Eid Sweets for the guests and children (Its a yearly tradition). We are planning to go to Xatta Oasis(Hatta Oasis Hotel and resort). Its a very beautiful and amazing place. I guess I need a peaceful and quite place before resuming to my work in our busy IT Department. Salam

Sociologie Wanna fix the Somali Society, hope they don't kill me My Target : A Clean and strong Somali Society My Agenda : 1- No Tribalism 2- No Qaat 3- No Guns My Tool : Understanding and practicing the Aqeeda is the right and best solution to fix Somalia. When ppl understand the real concept and meaning of their Aqeeda, everything will be fine. When the Aqeeda is misunderstood/abandoned and not followed then life on earth is a burning hell. Salam

    Women In Dawah

"u should leave those arab countries that won't even let women drive..forget about her getting educations" Driving... its not that important thing brother, and its only one country in the whole Islamic world that don't allow women to drive cars which is Saudi Arabia, the rest Arabic and Islamic countries have no problem with that. And for Saudi Arabia,I believe this is upto them, its their own policy. They gave the women their basic needs like education,workinge...etc. And these women have the right to travel and gain more high education from outside the kingdom. Do you know that the majority of the Ph.D and Master degrees holders in the gulf are Saudi women. And not only in Education, cause most of the ppl think that the Saudi women work as teachers only. They are specialized in different fields: Chemistry, Biology,Engineering, Pyschology,Sociology, Information System,Management... etc. Besides, do you know also the most of the shares holders in the business field in the gulf are Saudi women. They have their own businesses, its just that they don't have direct business relations with the males vendors, agents and businessmen. They have their own private bank accounts. Trully, they are good and professional investors. Anyway, our topic is not about Arab women Investment, business or driving. But I hope you guyz know more about the Arabic and Islamic countries. And kindly don't count on what the Westerns are writing about the Arab World. Do your own research and get the right information. Iam afraid next time someone will ask: "Do Arab women eat three meals a day or they are not allowed" Salam
