    Deep Thoughts.

1- Humanzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 2- Interesting.. lemme first imagine how the Humans will look like if they can bent their knees the other way  3- Leave the Nature alone  4- Neither.. let's say he will be very fast and people will stop saying stup!d jokes about poor turtles  5- That doesn't change the explicit fact that Men are always wrong with/without the Wonderfull Women 6- Un-sliced bread 7- Someone who never heard of this saying b4. 8- Much deeper than these thoughts. As if the sponges are doing great job. 9- False, Some even don't have any memory. 10- False, if its not taken seriously then i guess we should remove these three words (Peace, love & Unity) from our life. Answers were given by a Serious Curious. Deep thoughts needs deep comments, Iam so exhausted, I squeezed my brain cells and worked very hard...I've given the best of me.. I need to rest now, Salam
  3. Did you removed your nails in a safe place Farxan??!!! Its great to do an Encyclopedia for "Somali Superstitions & Asaadheerul-Awaliin" Ever heard of don't comb your hair at night? or Don't write in red Pen at Night?! I wonder who created these silly things??!!!
  4. What about if u lost a tooth... You should go outside the house or to the balcony/window and throw the fallen tooth towards the direction of the place where you born, if you didnt do that you won't get a new tooth again. LOOL imagine taking a small crying child who lost her/his tooth with blood coming out from his mouth while he/she is carrying the fallen tooth in his hands to learn how to throw the tooth. 1 2 3 Throw...... Mabruuk you'll get a new tooth very soon inshallah. LOOL funny wallahi much better than telling us about things like Santa Clause & full socks of presents and nice things
  5. ^^^ a prince & a white stallion, seems romantic and unachievable. You need more than a tissue dear, reality bites alot But I think its good to tell children pinky and lovely things, not like me, My childhood was about spirits, insects and luban  Childhood Misconception NO.1:- They (They referred to: My lovely and so-called kind & passionate family) told me that if it happened and I stood on Ants they will get their revenge one day which is the Doom Day; they'll ask the Lord for punishment. They will become large and stand on me  Will you believe people till now I avoid ants and I do the best I can to avoid standing on ONE of them not all of them. I keep my EYES WIDE OPENED to avoid them But I love the ANTS (So lovely, small and hardworking animals, we shouldn't put them under the insects category, they are much higher & cleaner than the insects . Anyway I never killed an insect and it will never happen for sure. Childhood Misconception NO.2:- "If you swallow a chewing Gum while chewing it, a large Gum (luban)tree will grow up inside your stomach" how silly, they never told me the same when I swallowed a Coin when I was 6 years. A tree of coins, ya salaaam LOL Childhood Misconception NO.3:- If you scared/terrified someone, his soul will go inside of you and haunt you forever. Inorder to reverse that and not let him go inside of you; you gotta spit on the floor three times LOOL. I used to see that it very funny. To take a group of children and scare the adults, and when they get scared I think nothing is better than spitting on the carpet just to annoy my parents/adults. I had to DO IT, otherwise my spirit will be taken by the person I'd scared him And much more but very funny and Silly

Its not like its forced down our throats, that would be a whole nother topic. First of all, the problem of Muslims celebrating non-islamic occasions is not a small thing, if you consider it not serious then you are mistaken. Its a very serious issue. 2nd, the problem gets bigger & bigger when its happening inside our Islamic Socities. 3rd, Iam sure if followed our Prophet Muhammed (SAAW) and his instructions about rejecting evil that will save us all from these troubles. You can change Evil with your hands (By Force, Pen and spreading awareness & informing/reminding Muslims), if you couldnt then speak out against it, if you couldnt then reject it from your heart and thats the lowest form of Iman. Juba: Few words from your lips can change lots of wrong things and you'll be rewarded inshalla. So How about starting with words(Reminders/advices) first? and see how it will work. The other day I was reading an article in a newspaper about Hindus protesting against the Valentine Day in India. The Hindus consider it a breaking to their own cultures and religion, and they made a Rally to show their frustration and dissatification against their government for allowing the celebration of the Valentine. The news source described them as "Hardline Hindus", will I laughed at that moment, coz MOSTLY nowadays those who disagree with your religion, principles, morals, beliefs, ideas will call describe you as: Hardline, Old Fashioned, terrorists, Dark-aged-person, Caveman/woman, extermist,Love Haters, Enemy of Liberty and Love bla bla bla . But let them stay in this attitude,,,, One Day they will figure out for sure The question now is: Isnt our turn also to speak against the evil that's controlling our Socities? Or you think its NOT that serious ????
  7. ^^^ Cunsaama seems to be a new name U mean Osama. Anyway one of my interest is to know/tell the names' meanings. Osama means Lion, its one of the Lions names. Somethng like Libaax,Aaar,,,,etc For me, I love the name Comar (Omar) sooo much. Maybe Iam so attached to the noble men in our Islamic History like Comar Bin Khattab and Comar bin Cabdelecaziiz (May Allah be pleased with them). Besides its very common in Somalia, its strange nowadays that many non-muslims are using names like Omar and Jamal. Khalid, Ali & Yusuf are also amazing names. Now lemme dream: Umu Comar... Umu Comar, how marvellous
  8. Salam Nomads, Its very important to keep in our minds always the glory of our great Islamic History. And this glory and success started with the Hijra (The Migration from Mecca to Madina) when our kind and noble Prophet Mohammed (SAAW) in order to convey the Message of Allah (The Islam) to the world; he migrated from Mecca to the Madina (Yathreb) with his faithfull companions who obeyed and followed him with love, respect, obediance and faith to Madina. The holy city of Madina where the people received the Prophet (SAAW)with generousity, love and kindness. May Allah rewards all the Muslims in Madinah, our great brothers who hosted our Prophet(SAAW)and his companions and shared with them everything they had. That's what our great religion taught us, we won't succeed or survive in this life if we didnt love each others as brothers with no superiority or underestimating. This link is showing us more lessons of the Hijrah:- Lessons of Hijra- Islam Online May Allah forgive, help and guide us all to his right path, Amiin May Allah make this year a prosperious, safe & successful year for you nomads in particualr & all the Muslims in general inshallah. Salam
  9. Interesting.... Now I need to check my eyes I feel they are still shaking  OYE OYE OYE
  10. I wonder why you make a big fuss when someone inform you something. Do you deny that the Chinese are somehow interested in weird things and consider it as food: Rats, dogs, monkeys,,,, It could be a rumor..it could be true. But whether its rumor or true I think you guyz won't lose anything from being informed. Just being informed about something won't end your life but at least it will make you think twice before doing it again. Which I think its a good thing. Anyway, Iam not a Chinese Food Fan, I only went once to a Chinese Restaurant and I didnt like their food. Iam much interested in the Indian Cuisine but thanx for the Info LDA
  11. ^^^ 7elwa ya7abatha hathee Now a simple question for the Valentine and such celebrations Supporters:- Do you think its a simple thing to imitate others in certain things (actions, words, celebrations,,etc) even if you don't believe on these things?! and if you don't consider it imitation then what you call it?! Coz some ppl say: I don't care about the concept or the core of the christmas/ Easter/ Valentine/ Halloween,,,etc but I celebrate them just for fun. If I celebrate them it doesnt mean that I do believe on them??!! Do you think/find that a simple & normal thing??!! Salam

This post is supposed to give brotherly advice and a reminder LazyGirl, besides Muslims should remind each others as brothers and sisters. I was reminded by my teacher and I won't mind giving what I was told when I realised that its the truth. Besides, who talked about flowers, chocos, gifts and said that they are not acceptable or demanded. No, will you nomads concetrate plz. I just said don't go with the current crazy flow in everything and celebrate any occasions without knowledge period, that's all. Have a good Day All & concetrate on the content of the advice not about the sayer of the advice. Salam
  14. ^^^ Iam getting old besbasoo, not focusing anymore I thought Iam slowly losing my memory only, now also my concetration I guess its something to do with what Iam eating or probably watching on the TV. 15. The yearly fever of the Valentine have already started. And this is one of the silliest time on the calendar 14-February makes me  You just go the Market and see that all the shopping malls, restaurants, galleries,,,,, are all Red in Red  The whole city is Red, whats Next??!! Iam afraid next time they will stop the Green and Orange colour in the traffic and let the Red Light ones work only just 2 please the Valentineans Now, I don't mind the westerns celebrating the Valentine and such silly things, what they celebrate is upto them, but what's wrong with our Muslims people? Specially the Girls who are so attached with these silly occasions. Now see this:- Girl # 1 : "Iam thinking deeply what to give my xabiibi xayaaati in V-Day?" Girl # 2: " Naya how about Choco, or flowers or a Diving Watch or maybe a very special technical macawis, we can order it Online by Credit Card from Japan?" Girl # 3: "A special dinner and a private romantic night is enough girls" Girl # 4: Who was of course the most Boring and traditional person in this girly get-to-gether A.K.A Classique : So galz do you know exactly Who is Saint Valentine? And who invented this Day? And why they called it "V-Day"?!! And have you ever aksed yourself "why do you have to celebrate a non-islamic day"? And do you think that by doing celebrating it you are showing love, care & modernity?!!! long and boring silence ............. All girls looking at Moi: You are so Old-Fashioned and gloomy, books will kill you at the end. And all this information ufffff...Whoo cares aslan about who invented the Pyramids, or the Chinese Wall, or or or the computer. And who cares which came first the Chicken or the Egg... Not Important darling, besides the whole world is celebrating the V-Day Hurrrrray,, so WHY NOT US  ? Girl #4 : Why not US? is that all what you can say "WHY not uS". the same silly answer over & over "Imitating others in everything". Damn it are they so happy with the V-Day as if its the Victory Day of all the Muslims in this Earth. ============================================ Anyway, I must confess I used to celebrate the V-Day when I was a crazy teenager and yah yah yah I used to buy flowers, chocos, candies bla bla bla, but when I'd realised the story behind it I QUIT celebrating it. Iam so thankful to my Islamic Teacher who explained the situation to us. May Allah rewards her for the golden information. So Nomads, for those who are celebrating the V-Day: 1- Kindly stop imitating others in everything including their wrong points. 2- Check the historical/religious background of any occassion b4 celebrating it, who knows, maybe you r celebrating a paganish occassion without knowing it which is not acceptable to celebrate. Even if its not paganish and its a Christian or Jewish, its the same result: don't celebrate them or even congrat others for it. The same is applied on the Christmas, the Easter, the Birthdays, the Diwali, the Hanoukah, the Passover, the Halloween, All Saints Day, All Fools Day, the Mother Day, the Father Day,,, etc. 3- Stop spending your money on buying chocos, flowers, gifts for the celebration of the Valentine Day. You can love your beloved ones as much as you want(Your hubby/wife/friend (I said a friend not Boy Friends or Girl Frinds Its good to love your beloved ones and show them this love. You can buy them gifts, take them to marvellous places and spend money (modestly and properly) to please them. But you don't have to celebrate non-islamic occasions just to show them your love, respect and happiness. Don't let them fool you and take your Mind & Money, Valentine Day has nothing to do with LOVE. Salam
  16. The page cannot be displayed So page is not opening hmmm.... its ok Ms Lucky Its ok ...Iam not angry, don't worry Nothing attractive these days in SOL except reading the nomads' signatures  so what do you mean by "It takes ONE to know One B..." I think you missed the "minute". "It takes One minute to know One B..." thats sounds clear & meaningful. Leaving with silence Waving Salam......
  17. I have a colleague who never stop using the word "Cool", Ok fine I can get it when its said 4 something cool but why its used for the unacceptable things too. Maybe they get used to this word. Wiilo, talking about "Dear"; I just cant digest that word anymore. It really lost its beautiful meaning, now even your enemy will call you "Dear". Some people use "Wallahi" for everything & anything. Salam
  18. They declared yesterday in UAE that Eid will be on Thursday (20/01/05). Actually they missed all the dates. First, we fasted on Wednesday(12/01/05) thinking that its the first day of Thul-Xijjah, and that will make Friday 21/01/05 the first day of Eid. Then they changed and said there was a mistake; the month of Thul-Xijjah was supposed to born on Tuesday (11/01/05) which makes Thursday (20/01/05) the eid. We missed fasting that Tuesday  Anyway, Ciid Mubaarak inshallah caleena wa caleekum and all the Muslims around the globe , May Allah accept the Haj from our Muslims brothers/sisters who are doing it now and help the other muslimsto do it next year, Amiin NOMADS : Dony eat much Salam
  19. Xoogsade I will check that book inshallah. But you've got to beleive that this is aint a dream. They are working very hard to reach their targets, a step after a step. Whatever they planned in the past are all done and achieved so far. They controlled the Politics,Millitary, Science, Economics, Mass Media, Social Life, Education,,,,etc and playing/directing the others just like puppets. The Christians and Jews are building the Zion's state and wants to destroy Masjd Al Aqsa (Dome of the Rock) to re-build their Temple for the coming of the Messiah (Jesus). Everyone sees himself the right one and that Jesus is coming for him to kill the other nations and enslave them. To reach their goals they created all these destructive and terrible ideologies for their own good. Free Masons are part of their plans. Salam
  20. ^^^ Frogs and Lizards, they have this suspicious look in their narrowed-eyes as if they are talking to you but you can't listen to them, but you can feel they are cooking smsing in silence and mystery. A conspiracy and a revolution by the the Frogs and Lizards. I was so curious to find out what they are planning, till I changed my mind coz the New World Order Dictionary Says "Curiousity Killed the Human", now I think like the others: just live your life and enjoy it. let the world vanish, who cares Back to the Topic:- Anyway, Guyz have you also read this part:- It is commonly believed that during the 1960's J. Edgar Hoover the then chairman of the FBI allowed the drugs trade to flourish within the African American community in an attempt to undermine the black communities uprising within the American society. My mom always asks me when we watch American African movie : "Hooyo africanka maxa sida ka dhigay, all their movies are about Gangs having guns and fighting for drugs, TViigo always wuuxu africanka ka dhiga bila caqli except very few Lawyers or Basketball players here and there, waayo hooyo??!!". What shall I say, not only them, even the Latin Americans have nothing to do except Drugs and Dancing. Now I have an answer for her question  Salam

    The Alchemist

Ngonge, there is no need to shoot anyone. As I see it this book can be recommended for all the ages not only for the 8 years old boys as you said. Besides, there were no promises made that this book will be great or bad one. I am sure we were all ready that we might agree or disagree with this book just like in the other things in this life. I believe we put suggestions and made a vote, and that’s how the book was selected. Reading books is like eating food dishes; you never know how it tastes till you try it. Only then you can judge it. So, whether the book was recommended by me or anybody else, the only fact is that “You can’t judge a book without reading it†so even if we missed “Alchemist†or didn’t put it in our poll, the result will be the same: Different opinions from different nomads on the same book. Were you expecting an end like the one in Cinderalla’s story?! I can feel your disappointment, LOL. You think that Cinderella was much inspiring and interesting than "AlChemist" just coz she got what she wanted easily at the end and a long deep kiss by the prince to wake up the Sleepy Beauty is enough for everybody, maybe its enough for you Such endings not only in the Fairytales and children stories; but also in the current novels would be sometimes boring. “Alchemist†has another special ending that some would it “Inspiring†not boring or disappointing. Anyway, the best thing in the Book Discussions thing is hearing the others’ opinions. The Diversity of the opinions makes it worthy, really. Certainly it will be boring if we all agreed with the same opinion. But, I see that the almost two hundred pages I’ve read were not waste. The author tried to convey a message to the reader. The way the readers will understand the message will certainly be different from one to another. Salam
  22. La xawla wala qowata ela bellah. Certainly Allah will preserve his Holy Book but as Muslims we should also do our part and warn the Muslims about this coward and terrible attempt. But is that enough; to warn them only??!! We have to do more than warning, Muslims surely can do more than that if they united and stoped this crime against our Holy Book. International Islamic Organizations like The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and not only organizations but ALL individuals should sue these publishers. Many books were withdrawn from the Markets just because they are either not based on real information, or attacking specific race or whatever... SO WHY not this book?! Believe me it was distributed NOT ONLY in Kuwait, but also in Morocco, ALgeria and Palestine and some other Islamic states for free. Did anybody heard about the big fuss happened for a novel called "Forbidden Love" written by an Australian Lebanese Author called Norma khouri. When they found out that the book doesnt contain real information they withdrawn it from the markets, the author and the publisher apologised for the people. The same happened with Dan Brown and his controversial novel "The Davinci Code", all the Vatican were so angry and the Pope himself showed his frustration about the book, would you believe that the Christian Government of Lebanon which is totally a free-minded government withdrawn the book from the markets. The ONLY book which is not available in Liban now is "The Davinci Code". So, where are the Muslims from all this: Is the issue of "The New Furqaan" is less important than this novel"Forbidden Love" . Anyone could attack you in this life, this is aint the issue. The real issue is: Are you gonna defend yourself, your religion, principles, pride,,,,etc and stop this attack or you'll keep SILENT and just keep watching it. Its too shocking that everyone I've told him/her about this story said "Don't worry and bother yourself, Allah will save his Book". Yes true, Almighty Allah will save his book, but what's our duty towards this? Can't we at least Speak out and show our anger and fury?! Another thing just to show how weak and silent we are. I hate this lady called "Bridget Bardo" every year in the Adha Eid season she starts her stup!dity about the Animals Rights and the so-called "Savages Muslims" broken record, and nobody talks to her or stop her, this lost actor who doesnt know how to cover herself is telling us what to eat and what not to eat. WHY SUCH ppl have the guts to attack Islam while we know that they are WRONG??! We were granted the the right direction can't we stop them?!. Salman Rushdi's case is closed and he is still writing, atacking & considered excellent author, Tasleema Nisreen is honorued by the West, Irshad Manji got the Chutzpah Award,Ayaan Xirsi is another story AND ALL awarded for attacking the Quraan & Islam. That's called Freedom and Human Rights, but when it comes to Muslim we CAN'T express our Rights and Freedom by replying them at least. I know that they are all ex-muslims, yet they don't have the right to get away with these attacks. La xawla wala qowata ela bellah alcalleyee alcatheem  Salam
  23. ^^^ Free Masons foundation is part of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion", just like the other destructive ideologies i.e.Communisim, Darwinisim, Secluarism, Socialism....etc all are from one source: the Zionists. I read earlier a book called "Free Masonary" for a Turkish author called Harun Yahya and I was stunned totally about what I'd read about this Free Masons Foundation. Many weird and mysertious things happening in this world without any clear explanations. Iam sure those masons wouldn't succeed if they couldn't find helping hands in our Islamic Societies. It seems there are Muslims who are members in this foundation (Authors, poets, rich ppl, presidents, politicians,,,etc) Thanx Amity for this informative article . Salam
  24. Great Suffi scholar and theologian Ibn al-'Arabi??!! Ibn Al Arabi was Great Suffi Scholar??!!!!!! To tell you the truth, What makes me stay away from Sufism is the complete Mysticism in it. Everytime I try to understand the concept of the Sufism and Sufis Ideas I feel more lost and can't understand them , Why the Sufis' words & ideas are so clouded and not clear, specially this "We7dat Al Wujood- Unity of Being Idea" ?! I feel Sahaba (May Allah be pleased with them) started the Sufism in a good way but their followers changed the real meaning of it. I believe following the Clear meanings of the Holly Quraan and the Sunnah as were told & practiced by the Prophet (PBUH) is much better than following those who gave the complete freedom for their Minds and emotions like:- 1- Ibn Arabi 2- Al Hallaj 3- Rabea Al Aadaweyah 4- Omar Al Khayyam (in some of his poems, I won't say all of them) 5- Al Sayuuti 6- Al Harith AlMohasbi 7- Jalal Ul-diin AL Ruumi etc... Ngonge what is the name of that Program n "Future Channel"??!! Salaam
  25. Iam not good in English so don't expect perfect translation for the following Maahmaahyo  Rag waa raggii hore hadalna waa intuu yidhi Real Men were those who lived in the Past and what they said were the best Aroos lagama raago, lagumana raago. In Weddings “Don’t come late and don’t leave late†habaar waalid ma hadho. The parent’s curse will never end. waxay ili aragto ayaa ilko gooyaan What your eye can see is what your teeth can cut, I think probably it means “What you see is what you get†or “You can access only what your eyez can see†Laf jabtay sideedii ma noqoto. A broken bone won’t be as it was earlier Qufac iyo uur midna ma qarsoomo Coughing and pregnancy, both can’t be covered Iam sure if you find an articulate somalis who are fluent in both Somali and English language & the Somali Literature, certainly that will b the best Salam
