  1. Guyz try this book "Buyology" written by Martin Lindstrom.... its a well-written and a valuable book which explains the psychological effects of the branding and advertising in our purchasing and consumption decisions. Ever asked yourself why you really drink Pepsi and not Coke? why you prefer Kit Kat than Snickers? Why Blackberry not iPhone? Whatever is the product you are buying, nothing is purchased randomly

    AVATAR

I've seen it on Saturday, and I can give 4 stars for the SPFEX... What ticked me off was the counter lady who forced us to buy the 3D glasses for 20 Dirhams (30 for the ticket and 20 for the glasses and it's like comm on.. I brought my 3D glasses from a previous movie with me >>>> why to buy a new one. The cinema management are forcing us to buy the food from their cafe nd also to pay for a new glasses)... Anyway,, well Avatar is another Avatar for what's happening in Iraq or any other place in the world.... The Silly joke of the "The War against the Terror" but in a 3D World....
  3. Jean Sasson: Queen of Drama... I wonder why she can't write about the secrets and scandals of the west life....

  7. Well, I believe as Adnan said, your name will give a further info about your religion, though that's not the case all the time.. Away from the well-known islamic names like Ahmed, Mohamed, Mahmoud, Ali, Hussain or Omar, not every Maher is a Muslim and not every Michelle is a christian... Anyway, personally, I don't think it's a must thing till I am asked about it..
  8. I've seen this on TV, how sad.. May Allah help them and grant his mercy to the dead ones...

  14. Are they really Arabs??? The name sounds like it, but the faces don't look like Arabs... I am only seeing a caucasian couple,,, How odd !!!!
  15. Folks, don't you think you are exaggerating by repeating the same sentence. So who is the next baby who will repeat the same sentence: Salma has ruined it, we can't see it any more!!!! You crying African babies
  16. salle cala nabbi ya Me, what the hell??? even those who paid Millions of Euros and reserved their seats in year 2009 couldn't be saved anyway... Even the Chinese who built the Arcs for almost three years didn't get free ride, they were left alone to be dead and you are talking about the Africans.... Bonjure Have you seen the woman who reserved three seats for herself and her two dogs?? She didn't care about the humans like her, well she has money, then she can save her dogs more than anybody else(how heartless). They didn't even save the Indian Scientist who disovered the whole problem in India in first place!!!!!! The movie is about this question: Are you human or are you not Human? IF you are, then prove it.....Well, you can't, only during crisis and disasters this can be proved.... Otherwise, we are all beautiful humans.
  17. Ibti,,,, You are the man We should appoint you as the Pyschologist of SOL.
  18. ^ LOOOL First of all, to Mr. First poster and Ms. Second poster.. I didn't ruin anything you Somalis ... Go watch the movie, there are sooooooo many things to be watched..... Three hours for god sake, what did I have ruined? LOL I have only provided a small, short tiny movie review.... Mr. You: I guess that's your own movie...
  19. Ok, the movie is good when it comes to the Special Effects and the crazy stuff... Full of extracts from reglious scripts as well some lunatic theories such as "Survival 4 da Fittest" bla bla bla... Anyway, I liked the concept that "Nature will choose who will live" but guess what??? This time its different: It's not the richest, or the strongest or the prettiest who will survive as the old theory said, rather, everyone with good deeds and noble acts.... The best part: After all the disasters, destructions that Roland Emmerich a.k.a the Director has made, one thing made me happy : The whole world got desroyed except for Africa.... A.F.R.I.C.A.... yes Ma'am, yes Sir,,, I shall repeat that : Africa is the only place which was not affected... I don't know what is the point of saving Africa (Maybe coz Africa did suffered alot while the others were enjoying in previous life LOL). Hope u enjoy it...
  20. How lovely<< how lovely..... Sweet memories from the Golden Yearz... efta7 ya semsem abwabak na7no al a6faaal Allah yasamhak ya Ngonge, you made me feel sad for reminding me Badr & Anees Gargooor, the stup!d one LOL
  21. funny.... I am very classical when it comes to phone ringtones,,,, I don't like to put funky things (tell me what you choose for ur phone ringtone, I tell you who you are)... But gotta admit, I enjoy hearing funny things like a baby laugh, or a catty voice, or "You've got a message a message a message" that will make you feel curious "What is the content of this message" LOL And the funny things when ppl personalize their ringtones according to the caller: I remember an office colleague who used to put different ringtones for different callers, and one day I heard "a Police car alarm", I really laughed coz I thought that the caller would be someone with a high position in the CID or something when I inquired about the caller, guess what? that was his wife
  22. I hated "The Ring" though my brothers found it stup!d movie... anyway I am not into scary movies but I was destined to watch the following: 1. "Scream" -- was good. 2. "I know what you did last summer",,, was horrible, but would you believe that I couldn't understood what happened at the end of the last part,, were they dead or not?! 3. "Others",,, well I liked the end truly,,,, it was something different (they were all dead ) 4. "The Haunted house on the Hill" (I guess that was the title, it's about five or six guyz who spend a night in an old creepy house and if they survive, each will get One million bla bla bla) 5. I feel the Japanese are so cruel when it comes to Horror movies, "the Grudge" was unbelievable, at least for me... 6. "Final Destination" was quite the best among them all... only part 1 and 2, didn't like 3 & 4. Chucky was scary as well Never saw "SAW" or "Friday 13" but heard they are like  The problem with the Horror movies is that once you sit for a scary movie by a coincidence, you will be stuck on the chair and can't move from your place....
  23. Originally posted by chubacka: This came through the post after ages. Anyone read it? (Peacenow?! ) I read it maybe on 2002, anyway the author used to live in KSA in the palace of royal family member in KSA... I guess it's a trilogy, I remember when ordered them from Amazon.com, they were blacklisted (banned) and not allowed to enter the UAE.. I was like  , is it gonna pass the cutoms department or not (anyway they would have destroyed it without informing me). But, now after seven years, you can find them in any bookshop... Anyway,,, I was fascinated about it at that time for the secrets and scandals revealed.. If you have extra time, read it,, if u have a busy daily schedule,,, go for a better novel Did anyone read the White Tiger, I liked it...

Plus they don't fight back and are easier to subdue. LOOL sexual frustration is everywhere regardless of the cabaayad and cimaamad wearing ppl. I don't know what do you call some topics in the Women section??!! Since you visited and tried the paltalk, don't you think the link provided in SOL would be much cleaner and easier?
  25. Rememer 6/6/6,, for some ppl it was too scary for some biblical reasons...Good that there is no month 13 in the calendar,, I don't know how insane ppl would act about 13/13/13.... It's just dates,, just figures....
