Somaliland Youth umbrella donates $2000 to Dilla-Borama road Rehabilitation Posted on 15/10/2011 Hargeisa (JSLTimes)-Somaliland youth umbrella by the name of ‘SONYO’ donates $2000 as a gesture of taking part rebuilding the country and participating the country’s socio-economic development. According to SONYO said that they donated the money as solidarity in providing the assistance of the project of DIlla-Borama road building. A well-organized ceremony was held in Hotel Rays in Borama and it was attended by the chairman of ASARDA which is in charge of rehabilitation of the road connecting Dilla and Borama Mr. Hassan Ali, the director of SONYO Mr.Saiid Mohamed Ahmed, head of SONYO programs Mr. Adnan Abdi Hasan, and senior member of SONYO Mr. Cateeye, other SONYO staff and other guests. Speaking at the ceremony, the director of SONYO Mr. Saiid Mohamed Ahmed said that SONYO donated this money as a gesture of cooperation and taking part in country’s development. He urged and further called upon that everyone should donate one dollar that can make a huge difference in Dilla to Borama road rehabilitation.
