  1. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Big mom Mansha Allah waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw what a poem , the best poem i ever read. When i read it, it truelly lift up my spirit . Waaw we honesltly are what u said in the poem. Thanx 4 shearing with us.
  2. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb What's the point of having eight to ten kids...wasting your energy, time and your financial resources on kids whom you will be running away from judgement day, kids who will be putting you on the poverty line, kids who majority will be caasi waaladiin, kids whom most you won't benefit from and kids who will only put you behind. Subhaana laah, Istaqfurulaah. Indeed u one lost sis. Reproduction is sunatul xayaah. Somalis r muslims, we have faith in Allah & we accept what Allah gives us no matter our fanincial condition. No one can feed themselves or others without the will of Allah. All living things Allah feeds them. Little do we think about how powerless we r. We r in mordernised time now. Back in the days when food was limited people still had 10 & above kids. Can u tell me who feed them? Or did they even worried about it. No, why? They believe in Allah, accept whatever Allah gives them whether is enough or not. We don’t think like nonbelievers who don’t have faith in Allah, saying I will only have 2 kids coz I can’t feed them. Subhaana laah that is haram, let the matter to Allah as he is qafuuru raxiim. Kids are gift from Allah only whom Allah wants to give it to will be blessed with kids. some without kids. No 1 can decide how many can they have, only Allah can. But what is required from us is patience & iman. Besides the Prophet S.C.W encorouged us to have more kids so the nation could increase. Stop acting like nonbelievers & start having faith in Allah. Don't just see the fake life that nonbelievers have, don't think is all good. They live in worst life, thinking every minute how much can they spend & save. Subhaana laah that is why we Muslims are different from them, we not tight on money, we just go by the flood leaving the matter to Allah. P.s occording to our religion women are encouraged to stay home feed & raise their kids, as well as giving birth if Allah gives them. There is alot of reason behind this. not the way u Interpreted it.
  3. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Thanx 4 the info Mizz Hurricane Jazaaka laah kheyr. May Allah protect us. Is true this days we can not trust these gaalo emulsifies (animal fats including pigs) used to add almost all ready made food. Which is very dangerous.
  4. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb OG r u ok 4 real? That cambodian environment is driving ya nuts . Nothing wrong marrying non Somalis as long as he / she are Muslim is up to individuals. As long as the nation of Islam increasing, I don’t see anything wrong with it. Everyone got different taste, why bother to correct it when Allah created us that way. Our life is beyond our control, we will all get what Allah written for us, no 1 can predict the future. Like the arabs say “Aljawaz ism wa nasiib, wa kuli waaxid ya5ud nasiibu” P.s Lovely me congartulations

  7. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Originally posted by LATEAFHA: but mind telling me why you left this out? "Suicide is forbidden. "O ye who believe!... [do not] kill yourselves, for truly Allah has been to you Most Merciful. If any do that in rancour and injustice, soon shall We cast him into the Fire..." (Qur'an 4:29-30)." True suicide is forbidden. I am not talking about the nonsense suicide bombings that occurring these days other than Palestinian. The suicide bombings other than Palestinians all well known scholars agreed are wrong & forbidden. But Palestinian case is different, they r in jihad if they bellow up themselves they r martyrs, that is why I didn’t call it suicide. And yes Allah said do not commit suicide as it is forbidden, but this case is not a suicide, is jihad. Someone who is fighting for the sake of his nation & religion. Here is an article from islam online that explains why is not suicide? Question As-Salaamu`alykum. Some people say that the operations carried out by Palestinians are considered suicidal acts and not a kind of Jihad, is that true? Please tell me whether these acts are martyr operations and a kind of striving in Allah's Cause or not? Answer Wa`alykum As-Salaamu wa rahmatullahi wabarakaatuh. In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. Dear brother in Islam, we appreciate your forwarding the question to us, with aim of getting acquainted with the teachings of your religion. This is what is required of all Muslims, to strive hard in seeking knowledge with which he will benefit Muslim Ummah. As regards your question, the following is the fatwa issued by Sheikh Faysal Mawlawi, deputy chairman of European Council for Fatwa and Research: "Martyr operations are not suicide and should not be deemed as unjustifiable means of endangering one's life. Allah says in the Glorious Qura'n: "And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good." (Al-Baqara:195). The verse obviously indicates that failing to spend in Allah's Cause is like casting oneself into ruin. That is the reason behind the revelation of the noble verse. Reviewing the Islamic rule: "Words should be construed as imparting general meanings regardless of their specific occasions", the meaning of the afore-mentioned verse is bound to extend to include any negligence of a religious duty; i.e. forsaking a religious duty entails casting oneself into ruin. The same applies to committing sins. Therefore, it's quite an abysmal analysis for someone to focus on the afore-mentioned verse through a narrow a perspective, without taking into consideration all relevant points. Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, strictly forbade suicide and made it clear that anyone who commits suicide would be cast into hell. But in such case suicide means Muslim's killing himself without any lawfully accepted reason or killing himself to escape pain or social problems. On the other hand, in martyr operations, the Muslim sacrifices his own life for the Sake of performing a religious duty, which is Jihad against the enemy as scholars say. Accordingly, a Muslim's intention when committing suicide is certainly different from his intention when performing a military operation and dying in the Cause of Almighty Allah. So it is natural that the religious legal status would differ in each case, as Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him says in a Hadith: "Actions are but by intention, and every man shall have but that which he intended." This means that martyr operations are totally different from the forbidden suicide. Concerning the Palestinians, they carry out the operations in showing resistance to the aggression launched by the enemy who has occupied their land, destroyed their houses, desecrated their sacred places and driven about four million of them out of their houses, replacing them with even larger numbers of Jewish settlements. The enemy relies on sophisticated military equipments while, at the same time, denying the Palestinians their basic human rights, killing their women, children and men mercilessly, and rendering the Palestinians powerless and incapable of defending themselves – even all the Arab countries face the same fate, lacking necessary weapons. So the Palestinians have nothing in their disposal but stones which they throw at their enemy in order to defend their country. This, despite its indication of a high morale, cannot deter the enemy this way. So the Palestinians resort to martyr operations, in which the martyr blows himself/herself up, sacrificing his life for the sake of his country and inflicting serious but reciprocal harms on the enemy. In the light of the above-mentioned facts, I believe that those missions are a sacred duty carried out in form of self-defence and resisting aggression and injustice. So whoever is killed in such missions is a martyr, may Allah bless him with high esteem. I call on every Palestinian not to hesitate in carrying out such operations as long as they are the only way of making Jihad and are made with an intention of sacrificing one's life for the Sake of one's religion and nation. I wish that other scholars who hesitate concerning such a matter to reconsider their views according to what I have said and what other scholars have said. May Allah guide us all to what is right." Sheikh Faysal Mawlawi sis LATEAFHA hope u got my point. this is a very sensitive issue that most ppl have different opinion may Allah guide us to the right path (Amin).
  8. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Jamaal11 Well said i agree with u. Think_tank First of all Allah caza wajal knows better. But in my opinion after I have listened a well known scholars discussing about this issue. My personal opinion based on what they said & what my knowledge tells me after I have seen how this world treats our nation. B4 I state my opinion I do not support suicide bombings other than Palestinians. As nation of Islam we r in great deal of danger, we r controlled both in our own lands & overseas. We r the most weak nation on this earth. Forget about whether or not a Muslim government can own a power weapons or not. We not even allowed to run our own land the way we want to, the west guide us deliberately telling us what we can do or can not do. They telling us not to establish a Islamic government if we do, they will destroy it no matter what. Their militaries r in our boards with powerful weapons controlling our movements. Our money is in the west, if we refuse what they ordered they will hold our money. Now they r in progress to cut down the Islamic schools in our lands, they claim these schools train terrorists to attack west, when it is not true. When one of our Muslim countries such as Palestinian or Kashmir need our help, we can not help them physically, & now they ordered to cut down the financial help. To conclude we r like toy controlled by remote control. Despite all this anger, as nation we r action less to even organize an organization to solve these problems. We keep mentioning the word jihad but no one wants to take action according our religion. Because of that, that is where Palestinians case comes in. because of desperations they do the unthinkable, which is the only weapon they have to defend themselves. If Allah says in the qur’aan u r given permission to fight back for those who r wrongly harming u. then why hesitate to take an action? How much can we take? How long can we wait? Don’t we have feeling to react to when our blood flooding on the floor like rivers? Yes the qur’aan says Who so ever kills a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he has killed all mankind, and who so ever saves the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind," (Al-Ma'dah:32). the gaalo r killing us as well like insects, we have to defend our selves. We can’t just sit back & watch our ppl being killed. Gaalo r killing innocent Muslim ppl who r not allowed to go to the shops or even to berry their loved one’s. that is exactly what is happening in Palestinian, & that is why the well known scholars said they right what Palestinian is doing suicide bombing because they have no other weapon. Like I said b4 the daliil the scholars like qardaawi use is Allah says: To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, God is most powerful for their aid;- (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is God". Did not God check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of God is commemorated in abundant measure. God will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily God is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will). Surah 22 Verses 39 – 40 As we all know in islam there is justice ilahay qofna ma dulmiyo ina laah maca xaq. Allah is given us the qur’aan as guide throughout our life plus we have the hathiis of our beloved prophet. if we r concern about any issue we have to check with our resources (qur’aan & hadiiths). And we have to react upon what our resources orders us. Walaahu Aclam.
  9. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb First of all Allah knows best what is happening in this world nowadays. Secondly don’t mix different issues together. Palestinians case is different to other suicide bombings that happened. According well known scholars such as sheikh khardaawi believe that what Palestinians are doing is right. Because they don’t have any power to defend themselves, while Israel in the other hand have power & they are killing innocent ppl everyday. The whole world r action less or should I say support what Israel is doing, therefore Palestinians have no other power but to commit the unthinkable. This is the daliil the culimaa use to support their opinion:- Allah says: To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, God is most powerful for their aid;- (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is God". Surah 22 Verses 39 – 40 Look back the history don’t forget westerns were the one who politically persuade Muslims & made them enemies to one another, which resulted the claps of dolatil cuthmaniyah (the powerful islam government in turkey). Whatever is happening to muslim world is because of the west. They r the one’s who using innocent muslims to reach their goal, when they do they say Alqa’ida is behind it or any other muslim orgonisations. Is all about politics. Muslims r the most hated people in this earth, we being betrayed in any way, whether in our own lands or elsewhere’s. Our bloods r everywhere, we being killed for no reason. The Muslim leaders r action less, Because of this anger some Muslims react differently to seek justice. By using suicide as a weapon. That is where the misunderstanding of our beautiful religion accord. That is what is happening walahu Aclam. In my opinion as Muslims this is a test for us, we r being test how strong our faith & patience is. We could only survive if we r fully connected with Allah, now is when we need to learn our religion word by word, in order to reflect our opinions. Besides is time for us to quit watching brain wash news channels, who r anti muslims.

    A Message!

Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Touching poem indeed well done. I like it .
  11. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb lol@OG u sure have lot's of time in ur hands. I am intersted to see arab posters like shariin, 3adil imam. Nice posters by the way.
  12. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Originally posted by Kool_Kat: I agree with some of the comments here... Somalis are very racist, ain't no doubt about that... But we have some qualities, that other nations don't... We don't have as much as violence, drug abuse, alcoholics, homeless, and murders as much as other nations do... So I think that it is about time we see the good in each other, than the bad or negativety... Kool_Kat spot on Nasra I think is absolutely wrong & unfair for u to generalise all Somalis. We might have our negativities just like any other nation, but surely we not the low life nation in this earth. Ur statement is offensive & harsh. Not all human beings are equal just like our fingers aren’t therefore we do have our bad one’s & good one’s. & Alhamdulillah we are great nation comparing the performance of other nations. Look at the westerns for instance, they appear modernised & educated, yet their society r corrupted with endless problems. Look at our nation (Somalis) we might be weak in technology & education point view but Alhamdulillah we r exceptionally good in society performance. Is time we stop discriminating our people & acknowledge the positive performance
  13. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb That is what u get when u critizise Islam. the whole world would be so tinny that u can't find where to hide. cadaabi dunya, subxaana laah. Ninkii soo joog laga waayo soo jiifo ayaa laga helaa
  14. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum  Mujahid did u knew I was coming to london? Nice timing. I will sure check those places when I visit london in febaruary 03 insha Allah. I just hope in real life the city is beautiful as the photos. Though I was told a lot of trash about it, but I will wait & found out in person won’t I? Since Aussies addicted to London I shall check out.
  15. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Nice to see fellow neighbors are participating in this forum. Kiwi girls LATEAFHA, Jamilah & Naziha to this growing nomad community. Have fun ur stay with us & Ramadaan Kariim.
  16. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb I agree with kool-kat. According to science Puberty generally starts earlier for girls than it does for boys. This is why many girls are taller and may act more mature than boys for a few years until the boys catch up. Women do age faster than the men, look our society u see 2 couples where the husband is about 5 years & more older. When they get older u can’t tell the age gape b/w the couple, u assume as if they r same age or some cases she might look older than him. cuz in life women tend to go through a lot of body development which might have effect on their appearance. Where men don’t experience any body developments. According to science there is big different b/w men & women which explains in details why they look different, growing process & aging process. Wallahu Aclam.
  17. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb I found this beautiful peom from one of the Islamic websites & I thought I should share it with ya. This poem remaind me Ramadan in Muslim land. Welcome Ramadan - A Poem A new night of the sacred month the thin slice of the moon; the crescent visible only a few minutes to the naked eye A sight beautiful signaling new, fresh Greetings one to the other: Ramadan Mubarak And a few hours later A sound comes Wake up! Wake up! have a meal, a simple glass of water! Before the first light, before you begin the fast, make the intention Wake up! Wake up! And the day progresses, a slowing down; restaurants closed, coffee houses empty. And workers begin their trek home early Late afternoon, the specialty stores open selling the special once a year snacks, crowds flocking and moving hurriedly collecting their Iftar (break fast) And mothers prepare the traditional meals taking extra time for the fasting family Only an hour before the sun sets city streets empty, as in a curfew, And now only a few minutes, family and friends gather around the table making small talk awaiting the moment...silence... Allah-hu Akbar Allah-hu Akbar Allah-hu Akbar Allah-hu Akbar (God is great) Ash-hadu an la illaha illal-lah Ash-hadu an la illaha illal-lah (I witness that there is no God except Allah) Ash-hadu anna Mohammadan rasoolol lah Ash-hadu anna Mohammadan rasoolol lah (I witness that Mohammad is the Prophet of Allah) Hay-ye alas-slat Hay-ye alas-slat (Hurry up for prayer) Hay-ye alal falah Hay-ye alal falah (Hurry up for prosperity) Allah-hu Akbar Allah-hu Akbar La illaha illal-lah La illaha illal-lah And the siren, signaling the sun dipping below the horizon And together, some with dates, some with a pinch of salt "We take this food in the name of Allah, most gracious, ever merciful" Prayers given and later friends and family mill around, some content others tired, but all happy on this day of Ramadan... Peace
  18. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Well said hibo, sis is true what u said in this world without patience u can not survive. Mansha Allah that lady was smart. Because of her patience she got a reward from Allah. Patience is part of the iman like Allah told us in the holly Qur’aan. 3.200 O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah. that ye may prosper. Marriage is one of those things that require compelete patience if one of the couples don’t be patience that marriage will break. Like our ppl say “guur qof un sabarkiis ayuu ku dhisanyahay”. No doubt this world one way or the other someone will be negalected, in our society as far as marriage concern most of the times women r the the victam. But what can u do if that is ur luck, other than being connect with ur loard & have patience. As Allah is tasting u through this rough time u going through, if u have patience Allah is with u & will forgive u like he said in the qur’aan. 11.11 Not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward. This is Haathis Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet passed by a woman who was weeping beside a grave. He told her to fear Allah and be patient. She said to him, "Go away, for you have not been afflicted with a calamity like mine." And she did not recognize him. Then she was informed that he was the Prophet . so she went to the house of the Prophet and there she did not find any guard. Then she said to him, "I did not recognize you." He said, "Verily, the patience is at the first stroke of a calamity." RC Patience is all nine and dandy sis, but if I have to wait up till 5am with food, you bet there is going to be poison in that food Ar mee u macataa May Allah give us a very strong patience (Amin).
  19. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Dhaqal celis is the best solution that the parents has for outrages teenagers. I know is bit cruel to leave ur own child in a land that isn’t safe & the prance don’t want to stay with them either. If the relatives that the child will stay with are responsible then I don’t see anything wrong with it, infact I support this method. No prance likes to abandon their kids, actually the prances who are doing this, r hurting inside & know this is the only solution fro their kid. Let’s be realistic the kid were in danger in western world, learning drugs, homosexual, sleeping around & etc. so what is the difference one way or the other the kid were in danger. At least knowing he/she r in Somalia within their people & understanding their religion, makes difference. The only solution is to take them back to dugsi teachers so they could learn their religion & culture. Markii washamsi lagu qaado 911 wayaan iyaga ayaa dan u tosaayo. The way I see it is, the prance are the ones that will be held accountable in the day of judgment for bringing their kids to western society, if the kid adopts the society & neglects his/her religion. So I understand where they coming from when they send them back. I have heard & seen teenagers who were so outrages when they were taken back after a year or 2 they were completely different person. So why doubt if u know at then there is positive outcome.
  20. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Pretty shallow but some females pray for a man whose mom already passed away!!! S.L Girl were u reading my mind, I know is selfish  but I am one of those girls. When I look the guy I exam his whole family, if he came from a very large family with lots of sisters & female cousins & if he is the only son of the family, I run away  . Walaahi when I see some lucky sisters that have the best mother-in-law I get jealous. Ilhaay marka aan ka baryaayo in uu meel qeer leh I mariyo, waxaan mar waliba ku duceestaa sodoh & dumashilaal wanaagsan. Shaqsi It all depends what sort of family u go into & whether u share same tribe or not. if the family is well educated as far as islam concern then these problems will be minimized. Sad to say but I even seen an educated mother inlaw being mother inlaw from hell. What even makes the whole satiation worse is when the sister-in-law’s & mother-in-law team up to destroy u, most of the times it happens when the wife is different tribe to them. This is how I see it if the husband has a lot of sisters for example more than 3 then the wife is in deep $hit. The only way u will survive is to live far away form them. Whether ur in-laws r nice or not, it is always preverbal to live far away from them. I know is heartless & pathetic thing to even say that, but what can u do when ur luck is bad & they r up ur throat. These days forget about mother inlaws & sister inlaws ur husbands cousins & aunties can be quite challenge as well. The other thing if the husband is the oldest of the family or the youngest luquntaada xor ma’aha. if u know what I mean.
  21. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb S.S Waaw indeed that was a very powerful & best describtion of the warlords. well done. Jamaal good poem too, i like it. This peom bellow discribes todays young men back home, the problems they face & how they become moryaans I look up to my tribe I look up to the warlords Since my youth they are my roll model I grew up learning how to handle a gun How to rope How to rape How to kill I was told to be a good Muslim You rape, kill & rope I was taught to please my leader They told me I am in jihad As long as I obey what my leader says Guns & bombs become music to my ears I feel sense of joy when I see blood It gives me sense of pleasure seeing others sever Qaat become the cure of my problems Guns become the only thing I obey I Disrespect the elderly I have no symphathy to anyone Roped people whenever I wanted to Raped many innocent girls Knowing as long as I have this gun No one can touch me All my financial problems gone I was provided qaat I was provided food As long as I keep killing, raping & roping people Often I get injured no one cares I lay under the trees not even a shelter I hardly have medical treatment I sever & sever When I recover all the sudden they interested in me I do all the dirty work for them But no one gives an attention when I mostly needed My colleagues die, while killing people Warlords don’t give dam They berry them & go on I hate what I do I know I am useless to them when I am injured or died But I will always be servant to them Because this is the only way I know how to live my life without starving As long as I do what I do best And as long as I am loyal to my tribe I am a winner Maybe I could be the future senior leader
  22. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb loooooooooooooooooooool oh my god that was halirious walaahi. thanx for the warning i won't say sanbuus near gaalo.

Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb C.L & S.L that was good stuff thanx can't stop laughing.
  24. Asalaamu Aleikum Wr Wb Allahu Akbar & May Allah forgive her. In my opinion since she is more than happy to fellow the Islamic religion punishment about idolatry. Why wait until u die if u don’t get ur punishment in this life u will sure get a big one the next life. So u better fellow the Islamic policy & get over done with it & hope Allah forgives u & opens u the doors of paradise. About Somalia the only way our problem will be solved is by implementing Islamic government. About ur other question regarding fellowing islamic sharia, i think that is the only way this world would be safe & well if we fellow Shariica islamiya, we wouldn't have high number of abortions, rape & etc.
