  1. Mr Wannabe-Never-Will-Be why deny Somaliland the opportunity to gain independence rather than tag along a self-destructive lawless Somalia. South Somalia should establish and agree on a functional govern body to rebuild the country’s infrastructure rather than bicker about North Somali independence. I too mush prefer Somalia to stay unified but we should accept reality.
  2. There is always the dudoomos some big enough to climb and put your sleeping gogal on it.
  3. I suppose that makes you a midget then S-b.
  4. It is all about the skills and the courage without them size is not of a much use.
  5. LazieG, that was an extremely racist remark! We are Allah's creation and Sudanese are beautiful people. Black is only a term used to describe people of African Origins including those of lighter complexion. I rather be called African than black for the mere fact that I am not black. In fact, I do not think a person with a black or white complexion exists. A person with a dark complexion is no less beautiful and valuable than one with a lighter complexion.
  6. The term coloured is both incorrect and racist; it makes me feel like an incomplete painting. Black is equally degrading if not as insulting and when used it is usually associated with negativity while white implies pure.
  7. LabaX, do you know of other demonstrations scheduled to take place in London in the near future? If so when and where, the family and I would like to partake and add our piece! I always wanted to burn a flag, and the American one looks v tempting.
  8. It seems that many of you have the wrong notion of what's haraam with shaking hands with the opposite sex. What makes it haraam is your intention during the process! Where they are pure no sin is committed hence there is no need to fret. To Enuri Inc however good your intention, your project is not an ideal investment opportunity. To maximise your return this project would target a niche market. Potential customers are likely to be Muslim perverts, Muslims with a high libido or lively imagination, those with overactive glands i.e. sweaty hands or insecure individuals.
  9. I know I’m been cheeky but until Alexus poses the awaited question I’d like to ask the one below. When did Hulago take siege of Iraq?
  10. A relationship is like an infant; it requires nurturing, guidance, trust and love. A marriage should be seen as an investment and both parties should aim to achieve the perfect yield. According to Mr Covey (The 7 Habits of Highly effective People) for the golden eggs it is imperative that a balance of P (production)/PC (production capacity) exist in a relationship whether marriage or other.
  11. According to which Halima. The last time I checked Halimas and fulus were on extremely friendly terms.
  12. What is age but a number? ( Just kidding) Honestly, as long as both partners are mature then a relationship can be formed. However it is socially more acceptable that men should be older than the female partner since it seems the former mature at a later date. Although as previously mentioned having a toyboy is more fashionable nowadays. Personally, I prefer older guys say about 5-10 years age difference, so that when he dies I get my toyboy ( the best of both worlds).
  13. Every human deserve our compassion and everyone is capable of turning their life for the better. With guidance, support, mentoring, stable family, school support, financial assistance and distractions these kids are all capable of leading normal lives. Once you get into the world of drugs it is not an easy task to get out. The drug lords are bullies and savages, these young people are frightened for their lives and the safety of their families. I wonder how many of us including SOL members are actually doing anything to improve the conditions for our younger generation. It seems that we are quick to reprimand and blame each for the reasons these situations occur. What is more important is what we should do to prevent such tragedy occurring again!
  14. I am baffled, if Ms Drummond can afford to donate tonnes of dog food why then she not donate it in currency?! Obviously her company is profitable and stable enough to loose such number of sales. The message she is conveying to people is definitely not one of compassion. Reading the article either instigate that human should consume dog food or that an African life is worthless. New Zealand is not a poor country and it just shows that debasing a proud nation is not an issue to certain citizens especially when that country is a poor African one.
  15. Reckon the German or the Belgium will be next?
  16. I like to think I am a half breed of centaur and chimpanze.
  17. *People who are insensitive to others feelings and who care naught but for themselves *Somalis calling other black people “Adon†when we are all servants of Allah *Men or women who abuse their spouse or children *Pedophiles, killers, rapists, hypocrites and their akin *Banks for their similar open and lunch hrs to office hrs, forcing anti-e-bankers to queue as if we have nothing better to do in our minimal lunch breaks  *Taxman, hate them with passion for milking me of my meager earnings  *People who take things to heart, learn to forgive if not forget *Media and politicians both the devil’s shield and spear
  18. Ok I am busted it is called Cali Jamac but you must admit Xali Jamac sounds better. Yeb, I drank camel milk and eat camel hump, very fatty. I have helped the geelshire with watering the camels while singing geelshire songs, waan rarey geel, I have chased a fox who tried stealing one of our sheep. I have seen and stroked a diin and I got bitten none stop by jinaac. Also I have milked goats for my own use, very tasteful with the shah. Great memories.
  19. Theory, walaal, a piece of advice. First and foremost you are a Muslim and you should not contemplate let alone act upon any sexual desires with the opposite sex outside matrimony. Second, your posts convey a young confused person. At the moment, your main priority should be to better yourself and complete your education. You may find me dowdy nonetheless keep in mind that “only fools rush in where angels fear to treadâ€.
  20. I agree, it is about time men expressed their frustations! But shouldn't this be posted in the men section? Ooops there is no men section, I supposed your opinions and thoughts are deemed worthless than les femmes. Haaaah!
  21. My parents are from Burco and I have been to Burco, Hargeisa, Berbera, burta sheiq in 2003. Burco was not a pleasant experience but my other visits including the ones to the miyii such as Daloxo to Xali Jamac were good. Can I suggest that your try the restaurants by the sea in Berbera in particular the fish dish is amazing and 1st class. If you are travelling take all your jabs and be prepared for people calling you daganxaliis. Overall Somaliland is a good place to visit if not because it is your homeland then because of the weather, food and friendly faces (most of times).
  22. Horse riding, fishing and fox hunting? Axudubillah, I have not lost my identity, give me gaal iyo adhirax and I’ll say yeah otherwise nay to the above. Honestly, born from a Somali family keeps you busy and occupied that both mind and body are screaming fatigue and any stolen moment of peace is a bliss. Who needs dance lessons or hobbies when simply running after dozens of nieces, nephews, doing errands for never ending aunties and uncles do the job effectively living room for nothing else! However since you, Ibtisam, seem to be a girl who can juggle few tasks effortlessly, I’ll say try Salsa lessons or African dancing (Sukki, not sure about the spelling). The dance in particular Sukki would do not only wonders for your figure and health but also come to birthing this torturous muscle flexing exercise is very useful.
  23. The whole topic smells fishy. What on earth should I expect to be liberated from? I don't see myself in captivity, I am able to think coherently and my six senses are functioning properly, so suffice to say that I am free and require no rescuing.
  24. Are you for real? What on earth where you thinking? Marrying a poor girl while having your piece of the cake! This is a no win situation so bite the bullet and take the heat. I do feel sorry for you walaal but it is best that the story is heard from you before the warmongers get their tooth on you. I mean do you like both girls and why on earth did you not use protection. I suppose what matters is that you are a father of two children who will require you equal undivided attention. Walahi this is my worst dream so whatever you do, do not jump off a cliff or take your life.
  25. Bisinka, . You are extremely harsh towards the youth of today! I don’t think our future is as bleak as you paint it. We might be slow in picking our spears but deep down we are patriotic and unlike our forefathers we do not choose our foes by their tribe. Be aware that the youth are the victims and not the initiators of the situation in which Somalia finds itself today.
