  1. What's up with this Village member and the photo Kayr? Is Village Member a term used for gay. If so why are you using it, are you one? Castro, have a cuppa my fella and remember a name does not make you who you are.
  2. Perhaps the Chinese government should invest millions on importing Brides from abroad. Or maybe this should be done by Private companies, what a lucrative business that would be.
  3. Safia walaal, how on earth did you deduce that “friendship doesn't also mean good possible relationship Friendship is a very important aspect in a relationship especially in a marriage. Jafarel, thank you for the Hadith. Although, Shadan is present in our daily life, one can be true friend with the opposite sex feeling the least bit amorous towards each.
  4. Subxanalla, many of us believe ourselves to be true believers. May Allah accept our duas on this holy day, may all our sins be forgiven and Insha Allah may we be blessed to see Allah's face in Janna. Eid Mubarak to all nomads and to all muslims.

  6. Huh... The best course of action to save your friend from an abusive gold-digger is to seek the assistance of Cheaters. Logical miyananhayen? This will be Cheaters chance to globalise their enterprise while your friend is saved from such an entrapment.
  7. Well, you have crossed the line and who knows you might be unto something beautiful and magical. I would say stop apologising and accept each other feelings. A relationship with strong friendship is truly one to cherish. If your intentions are honourable then tell her how you feel and probably your feelings will be reciprocated. Crossing the line depends on how much you value your friendship nevertheless there are some best friends who were actually ex-couples.
  8. News is a powerful propoganda medium.
  9. Love is bullshit! Now respect and admiration is more real. Sweaty palms and a high pulse rate are plain nervousness and self-doubt.
  10. The cleric is a plonker and his fatwa is pointless. The intimacy between a man and a woman is their own privacy and should not be violated by third parties especially where the couple is husband and wife. Anyone heeding this fatwa is more idiotic than the author. ---------------- Eid Mubarak to all
  11. I totally disagree the case should be solved through the courts and not by traditional laws dictated by bygone era and governed by qabil. If the claim against Mr Sugule stands then why should he be protected by Somali clan? No one whether a legend or not should be excused for their actions. To drop the case in order to avoid sentencing Mr Sugule would be an insult to the claimant and furthermore drive underground potential cases of individuals who experienced similar trauma. In addition, Somali in Europe and in Canada are no less united than those in Minnesota.
  12. Rana Just out of curiosity what is it that Somali ladies can offer you which you obviously found lacking in Pakistani ladies?
  13. Why do some of you write both in English and Somali. Why can't you just choose a language or is because you would like to advertise your lingustic skills. I am told that there is a Somali ONLY conversing section where members are adamant that no other language is welcome hence why can't we apply the same policy here. Well done to those who are literate in Somali and for those of us who are beginners but could you please continue using one language. Surely everyone's opinions should be valued hence please refrain using Somali in non-Somali section. This thread is generic and is not addressed to only this topic.
  14. I would agree with Orgilaqe. The Quran is the only book, which I can say has left, imprints on my life. Nonetheless, books with no profound effects but riveting to read would be Da Vinci Code and Harry Potter.
  15. I wonder if I will go to Janna and see Allah's face. I wonder what is it like to be immortal. I wonder what tomorrow will bring. I wonder when the angel were first created. I wonder what's it like to be a mother.
  16. A great Eid Mubarak and a wonderful New Year to all the brothers and sisters.

    odd love

I find it funny when S Somalia call cat yanyur and when Djiboutien use dekada for road.
  18. If he is guilty of the crimes alleged against him then I applaud the girl for her bravery. It takes acceptance that she wasn't to blame for this monstrous act. She is very courageous to face up to the degradation and miseries suffered under someone she trusted. The guardians should be shamed for not suspecting this act while she was under their care. Perhaps this guy is not the only famous Somali who abused his position and has committed such wretched deeds. If so then lets hope that the victims follow the foot steps the mentioned girl.
  19. What about when you dream. Do you have dreams where you converse both in Somali and every other languages you speak.
  20. Bravo to Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf! Africa needs transformation and it is a step forward to elect a female president. Somalia take note!
  21. Libaan, Somalia is not all “gun-crazedâ€. In fact, you can roam free in Somaliland and Djibouti without the fear of been deranged by maniacs.
  22. Guys, a bit of advice about the Maldives. The holiday destination is only suitable if your sole purpose during your stay is to laze. There are hardly any distractions if your forgo snorkelling, swimming, cave exploration and staying cocooned in your hotel room. The Maldives is made of few islands with amazing beaches but apart from that it is a bore. I think Somalia would be a more exciting place to holiday.
  23. An excellent choice for a holiday destination! A friend went there for 2 wks and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Moi, I am currently scrapping for a 14 days break to lovely Jamaica. Each night, I find myself allured to dream about palm trees, sandy beaches, picturesque mountains, delicious food & cocktails, fantastic ambience, alluring reggae music and les beaux. Next dream destinations involve heading to the Alps to commence my skiing lesson then to China to stroll on the famous wall.
  24. Come again Jacaylbaro? You admire someone who is anti-Allah, who desecrated the Holy Quran and the epithet of Islam? Is she not a sinner, a non-believer who strongly opposes the teachings of our prophets (PBUT). What are her goals I ask you but to achieve financial gains and media attention through fabrications of Islam. I have no respect nor admire her. She is a lost soul who needs guidance and forgiveness from her creator! As for you, your comments are no jest especially when they are incongruent with the words of Allah!
  25. LOL... I was giving the same explanation! Quite laughable, initially I have assumed it was a Somali tale. But if the prophet (PBUH) decreed than we should follow it.
