  1. Well C/laahi defeated you in Lasanod before and chased your phantom president barefooted FACT!!!! And it took you ages to come back from that. Puntland will come back from that too whether you like it or not!! But fact remains SSC is disputed region and no recognition is in sight. All thanks to the Kingdom of Puntland. All you left is bitterness, complaints, hate and despair.
  2. But it took you three decades to get to the village!!!! So a year is nothing just wait!!! Something you accusttomed to after all you have been waiting for that elusive recognition for eternity
  3. Peace Action I think Abdiwali is very much in it being the incumbent. The dark horse is Farah of Qandala. Don't mind the bitter seccessionists. They are celebrating a capture of a village that they are not going to hold while Puntland stands in their way of recognition. That is why they are always cryingfoul of MJs and Puntland.
  4. Farmajo & co are infuriarating so many people. They are impulsive, impatient and politically naive, and this will be their downfall. They even managed to anger their main support base: Reer Baydhabo. They need veteran advisers. They also seem to be dismantling the few instituitions that existed before them such as parliment and its different committees. As educated fellas they should work in strengthening and building institutions so the next leaders will have something to work on. The problem with Somali leaders are as soon as they sit on the seat they want to copy Siad Barre. They are forgetting that they are fixing a broken country.
  5. Galbeedi, You might be right but Somalia's clan number games is any one's guess. Sure though, they are rich as they have excelled in business for many years. So uncertain political adventure does not often interest them and their clever businessmen tend to stay away from it.
  6. LOL @CadNaaN That Deni by the way, former Somalia's planning minster under Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. People say he is Damiljadiid but Allahu Aclam. He is not from diaspora, as Hassan Sheikh Mohamud he was school teacher/adminstrator. Both him and Jabiye are from Qardho subclan. And those of you who think Reer Qardhood are reer bari. Think again. In Puntland when you talk about reer Bari, you mean Qandala, Caluula, Baargaal etc. There is one real reer Bari candidate in this election and his chances are pretty slim as they don't spend much time and money on gaining power as the your Reer Qardhos, your Mudugs and even Garowe boys.
  7. Qalbidhagax saga summed up what Farmaajo & Khayre stand for: empty bravado and lies. But it is still mind boggling how some people would support them whatever the case.
  8. Somalida erayga ingiriiska ah ee "gullible" befits them well Wallaahi. No wonder 30 years dagaal macno daro ah baa la isku dilayaa. No disrespect to Galbeedi but it is amazing how someone dreams up a list and all of sudden people say: I knew so and so was such and such.!!!! War dadka ilaahay iska daaya oo wax hubsada oo qofka waydiiya cadayn. Waxaan waa character assasination aakhirana waa la iswaydiinayaa. Whatever happened to everyone is "innocent until proven guilty".
  9. It can not work for Somalis. Somalis are oral community. They don't respect laws or any written agreements. Idinku ma aragteen wixii dowlado nasoo maray sharci lagu kala baxayo? Everyone wants their way to succeed even it means trumping on the constituition and judiciary system. It needs generations of educated population to get to the level of Swiss people.
  10. Moogoow Allah kan khayrku noogu jiro hanugu aadiyo. Ninkaan however he earned his money he is loaded. In the last couple of weeks alone his campaign must have paid over quarter of million supporting different projects going on across Puntland regions. One wonders where was he all these time and how come we never heard of him make similar contributions before? Seems all for self serving objectives and make me wary of him.
  11. I heard he's rich and made his money through range of care home businesses he established in America. I hear those sort of businesses don't have good reputation. Honestly speaking though I don't think Puntland needs change of leadership at the moment. Any new leader will not br different from Gaas and there could be a good chance of turning out to be worse. Gaas's problem is his tinkering on the job and it something he can learn from his mistakes. A new leader would set the learning curve backwards. We need continuity and stability for once.
  12. lol wiilkii emotionka ahaa maanta dabayshu waxay usocotaa dhinaca Farmajo is going to get us HAG hehehe. Only two days ago he was saying they are dismantling federalism for us. As if Ethopians are not in all areas mentioned!!!!!. Ahlu Sunnah brought them in Dhuuso Mareeb, Guriceel and Hassan Mohamud to Baledwayne, Ceelbuur. So much of HAG not bringing shisheeye!!!!!
  13. Tillamook, I know the fire is being fueled from Mogadishu but I don't think it is fair to say that they are the source of the conflict. Since South Kalkio declared Galmudug HG trinity powe struggle and distrust existed, and still exist to this day. Xaaf tried to be pragmatic and compromise to break the deadlock, but forces within the clan specially Cadaado are extremely suspicipious of him and Ahlu Sunnah crew. Gooni Farmajo talo ma hayo. Isagoon socod baran buu dagaal ku bilaabay Federalkii uu ku dhaartay, haduu xoogaystana wuxuu soo wado waa la qiyaasi karaa. Adiga iyo issgaba waxaa idinka guuxaya Aabo Siyaad Central governmentkiisii. Hadii uu fiicanyahayna nagama burbureen. Dalkana khalkhal 30 jirsaday kuma jireen. Marka cid wax idin waydiinaysa majirto. Isagu haduusana Federaal rabin booska ha baneeyo hana qulqulo. Hada labo sano buu fadhiyaa labana waa udhimantahay wax lataabankaro oo uu soo kordhiyay majirto.
  14. Holac Caabudwa Holac, Caabudwaaq clan is insignificant and marginal when it comes to Galmudug. It is HG trinity of South Galkio, Cadaado and Dhuuso Mareeb that have big power struggle. Remember Ximan & Xeeb, Ahlu Sunnah and Galmudug. It still the same mentality. Individuals from other clans such as Carabeey of Caabudqwaaq, and the speaker from Ceelbuur are just tools being used for internal struggle between HG clan. The so called speaker never visited Ceelbuur as it is controlled by Alshabaab. This whole thing started when Xaaf signed peace deal with Alhu Sunnah who almost exclusively are C/qaasin clan that gave them more power and the capital of Galmudug to be Dhuuso Mareeb. Also, Gave many Xildhibaano to Ahlu Sunnah which makes them to handpick the next president. Cadaado clan does not like Xaaf's appeasement of Ahlu Sunnah. Hence the quackmire.
  15. UGooni, Nin iska caadifaysan oo iska hadlaya baad tahay. Puntland baad ku waalateen. Puntland waxat rabto waa cadahay. Marna dhici mayso wiil yaroo jaahil oo intuu xukunka maquunsado uu maxastooda barakiciyo, baraagahooda burburiyo wadankana musuq maasuq iyo eex ku maamulo, garaadana u wada galiyo wiilal yayyar oo baadiye kasoo ordau waxna qorin waxna aqrin. Taas waa hamaynkii xalay oo tagay. Wadanka taladiisu waa Federal (wadaag), hadaadan rabin maro cirka ka talo. Teeda kale Puntland jufo haday tahay waa jufo kula simane, maad xataa ku heshiisaan Caabudwaaq waa idinka labada jufo ukala joogee?
  16. Reer Gedo maradaa ka dhacday. Qabyaalada Soomaalida wataas. A deerkay baa coltihiin gurigayga ha I maan lee waaye. Hadhoow markuu nin iyaga ka mida Madaxwayne noqdo sidee buu tuulooyinka dadoow utagi? Somali politics waa zero sum.
  17. Puntland baa lagaa raacay. Nimankaan waligood isdiidanaa maxaad Puntland ugula soo galgalanaysaa? War wadaad Utag oo Iska cuudi Puntland.
  18. Dalmar seek help mate and stay away from these forums for your sake. I don’t think you have the mental capacity to endure the debates here mate. Tata
  19. Kkkkk@yarki emotionalka ahaa maanta “We” buu ku waashay. Wadh who is “we” and what is Mogadishu got to do with what we are talking about. Tankale, What is good for the goose is good for the gander, If centralism is good for you, it is good for me too. Laakiin, hadhoow don’t cry foul when I beat you on the ballots, and do not resort for anarchism. Mida kale why are you all over the place in these forums sxb? One day you want to punish Farmaajo and Khayre, the other day you are using PL-SL issue to score points against depending who you arguing with on these forums. You are too emotional, and for your health’s sake I advise you to stay away from SOL politics section.
  20. Where is Djibouti in all of these? It seems they are being sidelined for whatever reason. Ethopia’s foreign policy towards Somalia is changing. Regional states are feeling the heat and losing power to FG for now. But does Farmaajo & co have the foreheads to use this opportunity to bring the states including our deluded secessionists into their influence rather than bribing their way and bringing their stooges into power. This will backfire big time. They should have used the bribery money to support public services in those regions rather than bribe corrupt MPs to buy votes as happening in KG.
  21. Election has to take place as a matter of formality, but reality be told non of the candidates matches the calibre of Dr Gaas, and he owes the people of Puntland to go on for their sake. In my years of following Somalia affairs, I noticed we like change for the sake of change without any intellectual reasoning or thought. I also noticed we are nostalgic people. We miss leaders we were calling their heads for. We need to calm down and think with our head and not with our heart.
  22. Af Maay iyo Afsomali are two different languages. Maay in its purest form is closer to Af Oromo Afan than it is to pure Somali. I read a research by one Maay Maay guy based in North America to that effect. So let us not mixed things together. There are also many other languages such as Markaawi, Bravanese, Mashunguli, that are spoken in the country. Calling Af Maay Somali is political statement than it is reality. All in all, Somali language share origin with most languages spoken in the horn specially Af Oromo, Af Maay, Anfar etc , and this may well explain the DNA similarities of these communities.
