  1. Sultan Fatih (raximullah) has a terrible habaar for anyone who changes the status of Hagia Sophia as a mosque. See it in Erdogan's speech. This is an emotive issue for both the Turks and Orthodox Christians but I think there should be some compromise with the Greeks to improve relations. But I still don't know how anyone can get around Fatih's habaar.
  2. It seems a living and active Morgan is more useful to Somaliland's hardcore anti-unity advocates like Mudane Oodweyne than a dead one. Every time he is pictured with a politician from the Federal Republic of AMISOM whether that politician wanted to be in the picture with him or not is a major propaganda win. Literally every soul in every picture taken of him can be branded a bona-fide faqash The English saying "a picture is worth more than a thousand words" could not be more to the point in the case of Mr Morgan for whenever a picture of him and a Koonfurian politician emerges, a thousand calaacal words such as "Soomaalidu waa walaalo" is instantly tarnished. This man must be a nightmare for the unionists in Somaliland and abroad.
  3. The fact that fruits and vegetables have short shelve life is the reason our farmers should be helped by the government- buying their excess produce to turn them into processed foods for use throughout the year.
  4. This must be the worst decision president Erdogan made so far. Istanbul is not without enough mosques for Muslims to use and converting the Orthodox Christianity's most important cathedral into a mosque was and is still probably more offensive to Almighty Allah than not building a mosque. It is not allowed in Islam and is against the spirit of dacwa to mistreat other religious groups because of what they believe. Hagia Sophia belongs to the Greek Orthodox Christians and should be given back to them.
  5. To be honest with you their fishing boats are more of a concern to us than these military ships.
  6. Actually it is not a lack of facilities which our youth is complaining about but the lack of the competitive games they were used to having annually. The government should resume the annual inter-state games which were stopped due to out of control rivalry between certain segments of the country.
  7. I like what the minister said in this broadcast. This is the first time I heard our government talk about the mess that is entangled wires over every street in Somaliland. Basically still today every provider of electricity in the country also sets up their own separate wire connections to customers homes contributing to the problem. I think now is the time to tackle this issue and start setting up the foundations of a modern national electricity grid where energy providers worry about only energy production aspects of their business and leave the distribution side of the operation to an independent publicly owned National Grid Company.
  8. There also needs to be an urgent solution to the huge problem we have regarding fruit and vegetable production. Every year our farmers produce a lot of fresh organic fruits and vegetables in some of the seasons and the the markets get flooded with cheap produce in those seasons only therefore not making enough profits for the hardworking farmers. The government should implement a similar scheme for fruit and vegetable farmers whereby the government buys the excess produce and converts it into long shelf life foods. These processed foods can then be sold back in the markets recovering the initial cost of production and at the same time keeping our shops well stocked with cheap quality food. This is also the best way we can stop the sub-standard often expired food our traders import from the UAE, China, and other places.
  9. As there is political and social instability these days in the Oromia region where the Ethiopian jaad originates, the jaad traders (drug dealers) in Hargeisa went to Kenya to fill the massive shortfall in their supply, hence the plane load of that despicable thing coming from Kenya. Whatever Farmaajo's intentions in stopping this cargo plane I am genuinely grateful that he did it.

  11. Taiwan’s link-up with Somaliland is a big risk | Taiwan News WWW.TAIWANNEWS.COM.TW The decision to build closer ties with an unrecognized state could harm Taiwan’s own efforts to increase international... Is this western guy paid by villa AMISOM? Someone should write to this newspaper to correct his obvious ignorance about Somaliland.
  12. And when they are training our navy and Air force it will be reported as a "Latin American" and an "Eastern European" country respectively
  13. The Mandarin bit of what the guy is writing could be "they are not the pirates".
  14. UK, Denmark and Netherlands approve agreements with Somaliland Government on critical infrastructure to improve people’s lives - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK The new agreements, supporting projects on roads, agricultural systems, water facilities and fisheries, will spur...
  15. It is great to do business with Taiwan but I think we should be protective when it comes to fishing. We have to look after our own fishing industry.
  16. I think Mr Muuse will have to now convince the commies in Beijing that this is all about just business and nothing else. The Chinese are awfully sensitive about Taiwan.
  17. They cannot secede from koonfuria. The unity and territorial integrity of koonfuria waa muqadas. God bless villa AMISOM
  18. What a genius statecraft you must be I suggest you pack your suitcase, leave your frozen Tundra refuge behind, go to Sool and Sanaag- regions you are such an expert on, and set up a federal state there on behalf of villa AMISOM.
  19. This is a really good business in the right place at the right time, however it is not a cement plant which is the real deal here. A major cement plant in Berbera area together with a steel plant can do a lot to accelerate the economic growth of the country. We need to lay the foundations of strategic industries which can kick start industrialisation and economic development. These industries include the two I have already mentioned plus energy generation (the most important one now), light industries, logistics, mining, agro industries, fisheries, banking and finance, telecommunications and IT, consumer goods, travel and tourism, and hospitality. We have sufficient funds to develop all these industries but what we lack are local investment banks where the savings of our hardworking people could be put to use.
  20. "inta afsoomaaliga ku hadasha" is actually a patented trade mark of Dr Faroole isaga ayaa jiniga ooda ka qaaday markii uu madaxwaynaha Puntland ahaa oo villa AMISOM hirdi isla dhacayeen
  21. Have you got some exclusive information about the future from the Almighty since you are making such a claim so confidently?
  22. This is beyond ridiculous. Indeed Koonfuria is in dire need of common sense and decency.
  23. Rabbi ha u naxariisto marxuumka ehelkiisana samir iyo imaan ha siiyo. I believe in the last decade or so the authorities in Somaliland lost the plot and were misguided to believe that they can police people's thoughts and beliefs. Somaliland does not exist by the will of a dictatorship but by the conviction of its people. Instead of trying to control the public opinion the government should do what they were elected to do in an honest and transparent fashion. No one will go against a government which is corruption- free and serves public interest but unfortunately we never had such a government in Somaliland.
  24. This only proofs that all the successive governments in Somaliland never had the economic development of the country as a top priority. During Silaanyo's term Dahabshiil wanted to rebuild it but a certain clan in Saaxil came out in force and stopped it!! I don't blame the clan at all as there is a lot of rivalry and suspicion amongst our people but the Silaanyo's government and those before him should have developed a national investment bank where any investor in the country could deposit funds and buy shares in any publicly owned business enterprise in Somaliland. That way we could have had not only the cement factory rebuild but also developed many other industries including power production, steel, mining, agriculture, fisheries, consumer goods, etc, growing the economy and reducing unemployment in the process.
  25. This is such an irresponsible thing for the president of the county to do. We are in the middle of a dangerous pandemic yet this man is encouraging the ignorant people to disregard their own safety and clap for him crowded tightly in their thousands. It means all the measures they put in place to control the disease including the closure of schools and mosques are less important than "the parade of the president". No wonder why Somaliland is now epicenter of pandemic in the Somali peninsula.
